Skylar sighed; it was so silent. Goosflesh rose up on her arms as she shivered slightly, the silence completely chilling her to the bone. "W-why don't we go somewhere, rather than staying here? I mean, can't they find us a little faster here than they can if we were somewhere?" she asked, finding the fact of being outside at night with a battle they just ran away from going on not to far away. She thought that by being inside, they might feel a little less tense and off the ice than they all were currently feeling.

Kai blinked, and slowly looked at Skylar before turning back to the ground. His tail was limp behind him, lacking the motivation to keep its usually constant movement. "...sure," he mumbled, again just half-heartedly. "And where do you suggest we go?"
Kaori sighed and reluctantly sheathed her sword again. She crouched in front of Skylar, with Kai slightly behind her and to her left. Her head tilted as she nodded in agreement to Kai's question. "Yes, do you have an idea?" She glanced over her shoulder at the wounded Shepard and bit her lip. "And what about him?" she asked softly. Her little dragon, Kei, had curled himself up along Shepard's side, his head resting upon the boy's stomach.

[Sorry, took a late dinner break xP Master plan? =O]
Kaori touched the small slash on her cheek she'd recieved from Sora and glanced around between the two males. "I don't... see why not. Ah, if it's really ok with you!" she added hastily to Skylar. She slowly stood, then moved over to crouch at Shepard's side. "Hey," she said softly. "Is that ok with you? And can you stand? Because if not, Kai can carry you again..." She wasn't sure how well Shepard took to the idea of being carried around. She remembered how helpless she'd felt as Kai had brought her back to her room when she'd gotten her eye injured.
Kai grunted at Kaori's offer, but didn't protest. He didn't mind carrying the boy around too much. It was either that, or just leave him there, and something had changed about Kai. He no longer felt able to just abandon him there. He glanced at Skylar as well, as if to ask if it really was ok, though he didn't actually ask it aloud.

Skylar looked up at Kaori, suprised she didn't object. She slowly stood as well, dusting off her kimono slightly. She laughed softly, though, more of to herself. "Of course it's okay! Unless, of course, you all just want to stay out here while they fight a little ways that way," she said, not knowing quite what they all wanted to do.
She looked at Shepard, before his robot. "Although, that boulons de fuls," she started, "better not insult anyone when we're there."

Kaori continued waiting for an answer a moment longer and then stood fully, turning back to smile at Skylar. "No, I... think I'd rather be somewhere else," she murmured, smiling uneasily. "And.. Shepard said Gordon could take care of himself, right?" She shfited nervously in place, not sure if this was the right thing to do. But then again, Shepard seemed able to sense the fight's progress so he'd tell them if they needed to go intervene, wouldn't he? She glanced towards the robot as Skylar mentioned it, and her smile returned faintly. She didn't know what the girl had called him, but she could imagine...
Kai glanced between the two girls and then grunted as he slowly stood. He wobbled a bit, then regained his balance and walked towards Shepard. He stooped, scooped the boy into his arms, and then turned to face Skylar. "Where to?" he asked rather groggily, but at least he'd regained his balance.

Skylar nodded as she smiled at them. "This way, then," she said, starting to walk. She felt a little out of place just leading them towards her dorm room, but she knew they probably didn't know where it was, so there was no use in them all just walking side by side towards her dorm. She hopped, at least, that it was decent and clean enough; she hoped her grandpa hadn't come back and started 'fixing' things up. After minutes, she sighed to herself as they reached the edge of the forest.

[I can probably get one more post in after this one before I'm chased off to bed. ><;;]
Kaori and Kai followed her slowly through the forest, Kaori behind Kai and Kai just behind Skylar. Kaori was keeping a nervous eye upon him as he'd occassionally stumble over an obviously placed root. It it just because of his injuries...? she thought anxiously as she lurched forward as he tripped again, but he managed to right himself before falling.
The only thing that kept Kai moving was the fact he was carrying an injured person with him. If not, he probably would have just collapsed right there. There'd be no way Kaori could move him, and he doubted Skylar could as well. But he continued along doggedly, trailing just after Skylar. He kept glancing around as if expecting to see Meghan show herself with that somewhat goofy smile he was already missing.

Holly felt Darius' arms around her and she stuck out her tounge childishly at the other two. They laughed but nodded at Darius to say that they understood and soon Darius was leaving for the river with Holly, who was squeezing her eyes shut in fright, but always sneeking a peek out as she wanted to see everything from above, but was scared at the same time.

Darius smiled as the two of them flew togeather. It was great seeing how she had reacted to the wonder of flight. They flew togeather for a short while before they reached the river. He placed Holly on the ground and smiled.
"You wait here and I'll bring the other girls shortly."
He gave her a wink and flew back to the muddy gorge with a great burst of speed. When he reached the gorge he smiled and looked at the two of them.
"So who's next?"

The two girls left had already played evens and odds for who was going to go next. Emily had won.
"I am!" She said happily as she saw that Darius had already come back for her.
Lily and Liz were walking throught he forest together, laughing and talking about random things. Mostly whatever first came to mind. They were nearly to the river, but had not arrived yet, and at this point they were talking about what the girls would think of flying with Darius. It would be quite interesting to hear what they thought about it.

"Alright Emily if you would not mind."
Darius put his hands around Emily's waist and began to fly up in the air and out towards the river. She was a little lighter than Holly, so this made the trip slightly faster and easier for Darius.

Emily smiled happily, unafraid as she was able to trust people easily and Darius didn't seem to be one to drop people on purpose. So she simply held on to him loosely, keeping her eyes open as she watched the forest go by, then be dropped off by the river as Lily and Liz came out of the forest.
"Emily! Holly! So what'd you think of flying?" Lily asked happily as she had always loved flying with him.
"It was sooo cool! Seeing the forest like that was awesome!" Answered Emily.
"It was cool...kinda scary, but still cool." Holly answered quickly.

Darius chuckled lightly as the two girls talked about thier flying experiences with him he quietly turned around and rused back to take Andi over and then they could wash up and Darius could revaeal the idea he had to all of them.
When he reached the gorge he landed with a skid making mud splash towards Andi accidentaly.
"Oops...Sorry Andi..."

Andi shrugged. "Ah it's alright. I was already covered with mud anyway." Andi said smiling before letting Darius pick her up and fly to the river.
Emily and Holly, having to regards for modesty, had already stripped down to their undergarmets and were swimming through the water getting the mud off, and Lily was waist deep in the river, washing off just as effectively as Emily and Holly, as she was by now, a professional river washer considering how many times she'd had to get clean in the river before heading back to her dorm to shower.
