Robin an Luffy woke up in the morning in a not so pleasant way. It seems like they had slept in and Sarah had gotten bored and just pushed them off of the couch. "Wha? What? What did you do that for?" Robin groaned as she picked herself off of the floor. Looking up at the other two girls, Jayme seemed to be tired to but Sarah seemed wide awake. "Are we going right now?"

"Yup, I told you we were going early. I want to see if we can make it to the contest today." Sarah answered boredly as she inspected her fingernails. "So get your butt dressed and meet us outside. We can have breakfast on the train." That said she just walked outside clearly done with this place.

Behind her Jayme just rolled her eyes. "She woke up on the wrong side of her bed this morning." She muttered before following her friend out, not before yawning one last time. Robin probably wasn't the only one who was pushed out of bed that morning.

Sighing slightly Robin picked herself, and the still somehow sleeping Luffy up and headed over to the pc. She hoped that it wasn't to early and her mom had put her new clothes in the pc. 'New clothes!' she almost did a happy little dance in her pajama's at the thought. Signing in using the password her mother had given her she saw that there was new clothes, or there was something, in the pc. Pulling it out she placed it in the transfer spot and waited for a second before it appeared in a flash next to her. Sitting in a small paper bag there was what looked like a new jacket, pants and a new shirt. A huge grin split across Robin's face as the sight. Remembering what her mom said she put her old clothing back on the tray and transferred it back.

Practically dancing across the floor a sleeping Luffy in one arm and her clothing bag in the other. Making it to the bathroom Robin quickly changed into her new outfit. It was so cool! She already felt herself looking better, she really couldn't believe her mom had picked this out for her. Giggling as she placed a purple bow in her hair she looked down seeing that Luffy was now awake and ruffling through the bag. "Hey Luffy how do I look?" She asked.

Luffy had woken up in the bathroom, he could have sworn he went to sleep on the couch... Oh well now he was in a bathroom and Robin was taking new clothes from a bag. Grinning he moved over to the bag and peaked inside of it. There was something left down on the bottom. Looking up at her and grinned, she looked a lot different now but it was a good thing. Luffy gave a tail thumbs up before reaching in and pulling out the red garment on the bottom and held it up for her.

"Huh? Whats that?" She muttered upon seeing it. Taking it from Luffy's hands she unfolded it and couldn't help the grin that spread on her face."Well, it looks like Mom also got something for you to Luffy, lets try it on ok?"

Upon hearing that Luffy perked up hardly able to hold still long enough to let Robin put the red vest on him. When she did finish though it was clear there was a problem. It was to big. Which was strange since Robins mom should know Luffy's size... Why had she picked something so big for him? Did she know something Robin didn't? Sighing Robin slipped the vest off of the disappointed Aipom. "Well it seems like you need to get a lot bigger to wear that..." She muttered. As she put away the clothing she caught a glimpse of her watch. "Oh no!" They had been in here for waaaay to long. She quickly threw everything into a bag, brushed her teeth again and rushed out Luffy under her arm.

Crenu frowned a little at Riza's first comment, what was she his mother? Sure smoking wasn't exactly healthy but whatever, he was sure she had her vices and he wasn't going to tell her off for them. Regaurdless of his thoughts though Crenu took the cigarette from his lips and put it back in his pocket, not like he could light up now anyway. "I'm fine, just need a sec to get my head straight." He said as he tried to stand, but found it to be a little more difficult than he expected. He watched Riza walk away, looking at the other trainers in the center. Bringing the pokeball here really was the best idea, it appeared to be working out just fine. Before he knew it, Crenu foudn himself thinking about exactly what he was going to do after leaving the center, or even the city. There were several options that he played out, but for some reason Riza was in each one. Not just in the further exploration of Hoenn, but even the trip back to Johto had Riza somewhere in them, and not just her. Suddenly he saw images of the other poeple he'd gotten to know also aroudn him, Kasiya, Mitsu, M.A., Sae, hell even Kilik was there. Huh, a bit odd it seemed that most of the people he knew were girls, not that he'd actually taken the time to notice until only recently. Normally he just saw peopel as people, even the obviouse things like gender were simply lumbed together in the piles of irrelevant information used to describe any random person. But this did not seem to be the case for Riza, as whenever he thought about her those defining characteristics he normaly thought of as irrelevant seemed to pop out, which he found irrational and intreguing. He had a good idea as to why he thought of her this way, and it made him grin slightly. We're all that guy. He snapped back into reality when he felt the bottle of sports drink fall into his lap, taking it and sighing as she scolded him. "Tch....thanks." He couldn't tell if she was annoyed with him for whatever reason or not, but it was to much of a hassle to continue to contradict her. Crenu opened the bottle and took several large gulps, leaving the bottle nearly empty. He had to admit, he did feel better after drinking it, well enough to stand up and get his pokeballs anyway. "...Fine." He said as he turned to face Riza, a look of dissagreement on his stern face. "I suppose calling it a night wouldn't be such a bad idea, but I still think I'm fine." Which was when he remembered that his stuff was in a locker at the old man's beach house, as well as the fact that having made no reservations anywhere he had spent the previouse night on one of the beach chairs near the same shack. "Just hope that chair's free again tonight."

Riza watched with folded arms as Crenu drank down the majority of the sports drink, smiling a bit when he seemed to get back a little colour. She wanted to say something as he stood up to reclaim his Pokemon but she didn't, instead looking around and pretending to be interested in the Hoenn map plastered to the wall, turning to look at him once he'd reclaimed his two pokeballs. 'Boys are stupid,' she thought, frowning a bit. It was dumb to see him acting so big and tough after all he'd been through, and while yeah, she was a bit annoyed with him for being so stubborn, she was mostly just worried, and the only way she knew how to help was to more or less take care of him since he wasn't going to do it himself. 'That and not every guy out there would take a poisoned bite from an Ekans for a girl either,' she thought.

"Good," she said, glad he was agreeing with her on one thing, at the very least. She wasn't exactly sure where they would sleep tonight, as the few rooms in the pokecenter were probably taken by now. "Hmm?" she asked, looking at Crenu again. "What chair? What are you going on about now?"

Kirsa wasn't sure what she was supposed to say that wouldn't make her sound like a jerk, and she sucked at lying...Sure she was less emotional than most people, but that by no means meant she was completely heartless! In this situation she just...didn't really know anyone. It was that wall again, separating her from the others. At times it could be a good thing, but...well. She just really wasn't good at this whole comfort thing, either.

Kirsa remained in the shower a bit longer than Sasha, letting the hot water ease the bruises and aches. By the time she got out of the shower and into her pajamas - white ones with little bars of music all over them - Sasha was already in bed. Which sounded like a great idea....but first things first. Kirsa remained awake just long enough to put her uniform through the wash so she would have something clean to wear that WASN'T her other outfit. As soon as it was dry she retreated to bed, tugging her Jigglyplush out of her back and cuddling with it, not taking long at all to fall asleep.

Kasiya looked up at her friend from her position on the ground and shrugged apologetically. "I-I couldn't say," she said truthfully, remembering well the things Flannery had said. A small part of her understood the Lavaridge girl's reasoning, but the majority of her was upset due to the fact that she'd just walked away from him. "It was a lot for her - for everyone - to take in. I d-don't... I w-wish..." Nothing she could say or do would make everything better, and this, beyond everything that happened today, frustrated her beyond all belief. "Damn you, Team Rocket!" she shouted at the top of her lungs, though the latter part of 'Rocket' came out as a partial squeak. She leaned forward, pounding the earth with her fist. "Why do they have to wreck everything?" she managed between sobs. "I hate them! I hate them all!"

Strangely enough, Sasha's sleep was untouched by nightmares, or even dreams. As soon as she hit the pillow she was out, and the next time she opened her eyes was when the light through the shades hit her in the eye. The girl let out a groan and squirmed in the sheets, they were so warm, AGH! She didn't want to get uuuup! Her lips were curled into a big dumb grin, the kind that you have when you put on your favorite shirt straight out of the dryer on a cold day. Now that the sun wasn't completely blinding her, Sasha chanced opening her eyes, the resulting image causing them to bug out on the spot. Kirsa, in cute little pajamas was sleeping soundly, snuggling with her Jigglypuff plush. The poor girl's head nearly imploded at the cuteness overload. She looked so peaceful; a peace she wanted to violate horribly. Fighting every urge to tie her up and put her in a bag, Sasha got up to go through the general morning routine, putting her egg on the pillow for some extra warmth. She wondered when it was going to hatch; it was so jumpy yesterday and it barely rumbled now. It must be sleeping too. she thought with a smile.

The Pokemon Center was practically empty, understandably so. Sasha had a feeling that Slateport's activity would be at an all time low after what happened yesterday. With a yawn, Sasha went into the bathroom, doing her usual morning inspection. Face: clear, Hair: manageable. Body: still smokin'! The girl twirled around in place, blowing a kiss to a nonexistent boy in the crowd as she took her Pokemon League challenge, causing the whole row's hearts to melt. She giggled at the thought. She was far away from taking on the Pokemon League, but when you dream, you dream big.

=====
A laugh escaped the boy's lips. "Sh-she's just making me feel guilty. That's all! Haha! Making me pay because I-I didn't come home as much when I went on my journey! That's it!" he said, trying to smile. "I'll just give her some time to cool off and-and she'll come running back to me, you'll see!" He hugged himself, giggling like someone had just been tickling him. "You'll see!" he repeated, turning to Nitro, who nodded cautiously.

"Don't worry Kass!" Mike said, picking her up off the ground. "Everything is going to be okay!" The two of them must have been quite a sight; two beaten, bloodied teenagers looking towards the darkened horizon, hope in their eyes. Mike laughed again as he jumped on top of Nitro, waving for Kasiya to join him. "Now let's get you somewhere where you can take a little rest. No offense but you look awful!"

At first Crenu found it odd that she had asked him about the chair, but as his thoughts cleared he realized that she couldn't possibly know what he was talking about. "Oh, nothing really. I showed up for this party yesterday, but I was training at night so I didn't get a room in the center." He recalled how his back felt only this morning from the less than comfortable accommodations and started rubbing the back of his neck subconsciously. "I took it upon myself to make a bed out of one of those beach chairs out there, not the worst night of sleep I've ever had." As he thought about the nights that had past since he left home, the closest thing to a bed he'd slept in was a couch belonging to the daycare geezers that Ky and M.A. had taken him to. Other than that it had been the great out doors, which was alright for him. He wasn't very picky when it came to stuff like that, it was easier to accept than to complain. When you're tired, you're tired. So long as you've got a place to sleep and don't wake up with permanent damage then you're alright.

Kasiya nodded, wiping away the few tears that had started to fall. That sounded more like the Mike she knew. Granted, a little more giddy than she was used to, but after the day they'd just had, she wasn't going to question it. She knew she was exhausted; she figured Mike was probably just as tired than she was, probably even more so. With help from her friend she got to her feet, perfectly content to agree with him. "Yeah, we'll m-make it through this somehow," she nodded, oblivious to the slight stutter she'd developed over the past hour or so. She took a deep breath and forced herself to calm down, looking over at Mike as he climbed up onto Nitro's back.

"Hey, you're one to talk," she shot back, though she was smiling. The last possible thing she wanted to do right now was see what she looked like in a mirror, especially if how she was feeling was any hint. "You need some rest too," she told him as she climbed up onto the Charizard's back, giving the dragon a loving pat as thanks for him chauffeuring them around this evening. "Don't think you're getting rid of me so easily, you hear? I don't think you should be alone, so I'm sticking with you." She may have wanted to sound stern, but the weakness in her voice was rather clear, no matter what her intentions were.

Mike smiled weakly at Kasiya's loyalty, and asked Nitro to continue their trip. He didn't want to admit this to anyone, even to himself, but the fact was that he wasn't exactly safe to be around right now, not with that monster lurking around inside his mind. The last thing he wanted to do was hurt another person he cared about. If he found himself standing over Kasiya, all beaten and hurt, he would never be able to forgive himself. "Kass..." Mike said, turning around and looking his friend in the eye. "I...well...I don't really know how to say this without sounding crazy." The irony could have crawled out from his shirt and strangled him to death on the spot. "But, I had this...other person inside my head for a while. A terrible person, one that I thought I got rid of a long time ago." He had a hard time finding the right words, trying not to alarm the girl but at the same time trying to sound as serious as possible. "At first he was just in my head, but it seems whatever happened at the party allowed him to cross over, to control my body. I want you to promise me Kass: that if I start acting weird, even the slightest bit different, that you will get the hell away from me. From what you told me he did earlier, he will not hesitate to hurt you."

You flatter me.

Mike turned back around and watched the ocean waves below them, hoping that Kasiya would believe him. "I know it sounds weird, and I really do appreciate that you're sticking by me. Heh, you're the only one who actually did. But the best thing for me right now is to be by myself, away from anyone I can hurt." He'd been alone for the majority of his life, so what was another spell of solitude aside from a return to normalcy?

But you won't be alone, a voice inside his mind rung out. You'll have me to keep you company.

"That's what I'm afraid of." Mike replied.

Serenity looked up at the girl that had helped Kasiya earlier and actually hesitated at her offer for help. She had just gotten comfortable on the now cool gravel. 'Bed and a shower would be better, perhaps a burn heal to get over the worst of this.' She looked down at the charred flesh that used to be her wrist, then back to the other girl. Her other option, to refusing the help was to really just laying here on the ground until she found another way to get her self up.

"Alright." She said, trying to offer a weak smile. She used what little ab muscles she had left to get her self into a sitting position. "I think I just need a litte burn heal, then I'll be good to get cleaned up."

"Well that took you forever." Came a bored voice to from the side of the pokemon center as Robin dashed through the doors. It seems like Sarah and Jayme were getting tired of waiting for her. The two didn't seem to happy, that might have been because it was pretty early, Robin didn't even get the chance to eat breakfast.

"Umm, yeah sorry about that! Are we ready to go though?" Robin giggled nervously. It was her fault they had to wait for so long. "So we are going to go back to Slateport?"

"Yup we sure are. So lets make it quick." Jayme said as she pushed herself off of the wall. Following the two Robin walked as fast as she could in order to keep up with the two. As they reached the city limits Jayme and Sarah stopped rubbing there shoulders. "Urg our bags are so heavy. Hey Robin, you think you could carry our stuff for a bit?" It wasn't really a question as the two others looked back at her each of them holding out a heavy looking bag.

Robin looked down at the two bags a hesitant look on her face, she had a bag that was heavy to... It would be hard to carry both of them plus her own. Looking up at the two girls faces she bit her bottom lip before reaching out and taking the two bags. "Umm yeah sure I can carry them." She muttered before grunting slightly and slinging the two bags over her shoulder. Luffy had graciously jumped down and decided to walk by her seeing that she now had a heavy load to carry.

Now Robin was trudging behind them trying her best to keep up with the two. They weren't really slowing down for her even though she was carrying all of there stuff. Groaning slightly she put on a burst of speed as her stomach rumbled in hunger. Catching up to the pair panting for air Robin trailed behind them somewhat, this time they weren't running across any battles, though there were lots of trainers now. All the two in front had to say is that they were to busy for a battle and the others would back off. Robin noticed that she wasn't getting asked for a battle even though she had a pokemon tagging along next to her. Maybe they thought that Luffy was with the other two? Either way they made it back to Slateport in no time.

Riza blinked slowly, trying to wrap her head around the idea of sleeping on one of those beach chairs. They were barely comfortable for just sitting around and catching some sun, let alone spending a whole night on one. "...I see," she said finally, toying with the white bow on the front of her dress. She really didn't have to say anything to give the impression that she was definitely not going to sleep on a beach chair, or anything like it. "I'm sure there's something available here," she said finally, wriggling her sore ankle around a bit. It barely hurt anymore, which made her feel a lot better. She didn't know how she'd manage journeying around with an ankle she could hardly walk on.

"We should ask if they have cots or something," she went on, looking back to Crenu. "Besides, sleeping outside after what went on today is like asking for any remaining bad guys out there to rob us blind." She placed her hands on her hips and sighed, giving him her very best 'please don't drag me outside to sleep' look. "Come on," she said, nearly begging. "It couldn't hurt to ask. Please?" She took a few steps towards him and lightly touched her fingers against his chest, drawing little circles. "Hmmm?"

"Ah~ Alice," a voice behind her greeted her, and Jun hooked an arm around her, winking flirtatiously at the host of the restaurant before walking in. As it was relatively early in the day, there were only guests of the hotel dining here, as they were assured complimentary breakfasts of the best sort. Otherwise, the prices here were a bit too exorbitant for the everyday break-fast seeker.

The diva of a man had changed into a silk, light purple shirt, fitted black jeans, Prada dress shoes, and an Armani shawl/scarf thing that draped about his shoulders. Everyday was dress-up day for him, although he was a bit saddened that Jenny hadn't somehow fit more than half of his wardrobe into his duffel. He seated himself at a circular table that fit himself, Ronnie, and Alice magnificently; the restaurant's host hadn't figured that her Eevee would sit at the table, but each table was equipped with a kick-out, shorter table for Pokemon.

Formalities put aside, Jun grinned cheekily at the girl across from him, crossing his fingers and resting his chin on top of them. Oh dear, what dry ends. He'd have to treat those some day. "Alice, darling, I don't believe I know very much about you. Care to divulge? What are your dreams, aspirations, goals? We are traveling together, you see, so if you have some aim, it'd be natural for travel mates to help each other out..." Oh ho, how he'd twist these words later.

He tore his gaze away when the waiter came to politely order some fancy French thing that I can't even begin to try and sound out. Ronnie opted for a parfait. She really had caught Jun's eyes on her expanding hips, and it did make her rather self-conscious.

-------------

On the other side of the world, M.A. had just finished her breakfast, and now sat on the condo's carpet alongside her four Pokemon. Four, now, was it? It had not been that long ago since a little Houndour had been all of her company, but it was nice to have company, especially comfortable ones like this.

But now, really, there was absolutely nothing interesting in her life to speak of, as comfort isn't exactly attention-grabbing. "What now?" she asked, blinking at the four in front of her, sitting cross-legged like a child in PokeKinder. Dead silence answered her. Tora was trying her best to act refined in order to regain her teammates trust, and they awarded her efforts by not entirely distancing themselves from the potential wrecking ball; Daemyn merely lied on his belly, burping after his meal; Ulani fidgeted a bit, having no answer and deciding to preen instead; and Diego, well, he was in the midst of falling asleep on his feet.

"Well, we could always just go out," she decided with a light-hearted shrug. She had no intention of doing that laborious task of reconstructing Slateport, and so, with selective company (namely Ulani and Diego), she set out. Daemyn had snarled ferally at the first human being they crossed, so she decided having him out might not be the best idea; and although Tora was forcing herself to be docile, all the tense effort she put in ended up in her accidentally breaking the door upon trying to close it. M.A. cringed a bit, assured Tora it was alright, and had Diego create a half-dripping Post-it note on the door that, with many misspellings, said that there had been no burglary, she was fine, and it was just a mild case of Tora. The brunette reminded herself that the Donphan was not exactly house-friendly. It was nice that she was trying her best not to break bones, however.

Keegan awoke at a relatively decent hour the next morning, groaning painfully from the stiffness and well, pain he still felt all over. A string of semi-coherent curses tumbled from the redhead's mouth as he more-or-less rolled out of bed, landing with a thud on the floor, entangled in the sheets. After several moments of struggling he managed to free himself and with a growl he got to his feet, amazed that he was even able to move after what he'd been through. After a bit of moving around and stretching, and another fairly heavy dose of ibuprofen he put on his jeans from yesterday, even though they were ripped in the knees and covered with both dirt and blood. Nothing a little shopping won't cure, he thought, though he felt torn up (ha ha) over the loss of his favourite jacket. After digging through his things he soon discovered that the only shirt he'd packed was also the one he was wearing yesterday, though it sported no rips, just a few rusty brown stains. He shook it out a bit, preparing to pull it on over his head when suddenly he was being bombarded by memories of another person who was particularly fond of wearing green. He missed her already, even though he hated himself for thinking it, and he closed his eyes and pulled the shirt on.

He gathered his things and ran his fingers through his hair before stepping out into the main lobby of the Pokemon Center. It was looking like it would be a beautiful day, even though he knew that this place would be nothing but a bloody battlefield for those who'd witnessed the events of yesterday. He remembered then that both Artemis and Themis should have gotten treatment for their wounds last night and he quickly gave the Pokeballs to the nurse, who didn't seem to be as overworked as she was last night. Once the two Pokemon were fully healed he clipped them back onto his waist strap, grabbed a cup of coffee from the cafeteria and headed outside.
=====
There literally was nothing haunter or Morty could do to stop the Aerial Ace from hitting, and though the attack left no visible mark on the ghost's body, it still howled in pain, floating back and pointing an accusing finger at the Pidgeotto. "Hm," was all Morty uttered before he glanced towards the challenger, then up at the girl's Pokemon. "Mean Look," he said quietly, closing his eyes. Another amused laugh escaped the Haunter as he zipped towards Aska, eyes growing comically wide before it loosed a chilling screech, along with a death-glare that caused its eyes to glow bright read.

Aska let out a frightened little squawk, suddenly feeling trapped with no means of escape whatsoever. Miharu had heard of Mean Look before but she'd never seen it used until now. Now I can't call Aska back, she thought, figuring the Gym Leader had some good reason for trapping the Pidgeotto. She frowned and looked at the ghost. She hated repeating attacks but this was by far the most effective one Aska had. "Aerial Ace again," she commanded, watching Aska shake off her fear and dive at the Haunter again, talons ready to slash away at its incorporeal body. "Let's get that Fog Badge!"

Crenu watched Riza's expression as she toyed with her bow, it was very clear to him that she didn't like the idea of sleeping on a beach chair. And as much as he didn't want to admit it, his current condition probably wouldn't benefit from a rough nights sleep, the same might be said about Riza's ankle which appeared to be getting better. With the event having ended on such a bad note, there were sure to be many trainers who decided to turn tail and flee A.S.A.P., there was a change that there actually was a free room. Even still, he wasn't sure he really felt like bothering with that sorta stuff. Yet something in the way Riza asked made it difficult to say otherwise. Hmm? Hey now, what's Riza playing at? Cocking an eyebrow as she suddenly got closer to him, Crenu could feel himself turn a little red when she began drawing circles on his chest. He turned his head to look elsewhere as he responded. "Umm, yeah... I guess we could ask, there are probably still a couple of rooms." He took several steps back and turned to face the counter, she was already becoming troublesome, or at least that's what he wanted to believe. "Hey Nurse, got a spare cot or something?"

A somewhat tired looking nurse Joy turned her attention to the blond boy from before and smiled, delighted to see that he was alright after all. "I still think you should have stayed from the beginning. Now lets see..." she said as she checked her book. "Your in luck, several of the trainers with rooms reserved appeared to have left after that ordeal. You can take the first empty room you like."

"Right." Crenu said with a sigh. Heh, it was easier than he expected. He turned back to Riza and smiled a little, not really sure which way to go. "After you."
