I started on GW and Sailor Moon, both of which definitely have issues, but I have soft places in my heart for them anyways. Only saw about three episodes of Evangelion and while it was good it also didn't really drag me in. Liked Escaflowne a fair bit, but it's not traditional mechs -- actually, it's main mech is closer to the mech's in GPG I'm talking about.
Had a friend who loved Big O. The artwork always kind of scared me though.
And the DBZ characters always look kinda constipated to me. =/ So that makes it kind of hard to take any of it seriously.
Anyways, any of you be interested if I tried to do that RP? (After G2 por supesto.)

Gale OverDrive Oohh . . mechwarrior, *brings back memories* PC? or Xbox? I used to play MW4 on PC. XD Could never find anyone to play with. Annoying. But yeah, mecha/giant robot might be nice. Actually, I wanted to create one, but since the only things I know about mechas are Gundam, Mechwarrior, Xenosaga and SpaceCowboy Online, I daresay that the idea was quickly scrapped (couldn't create a story for it.) *grabs random falling pillows and throws them at the fort continuously* Mechwarrior 4 Mercenaries is my favorite so far, though I've played 2, 3, and the ones on the Xbox, I also have the nintendo DS version^_^ I hated evangalion, whiny characters and annoying plot>.> it would be more mechwarrior-y than gundam wing. As in, thy won't b able to fly or move super fast, but they'll be stronger and more humanoid shaped than mechwarrior(who look more tankish and not as humanoid

Evagelion has been the only mecha anime to draw me in even a bit. Unless you count power rangers when I was five, hehe.

I hated Evangelion. I hated it more than anything in the world. Well besides what 4Kids does to anything it gets it's hands on.

Hm... I'm starting to wish there was an MMORPG like 'The World', again...
Watching .Hack//Sign episodes... I've got 2 DVD's worth left to watch... Kindof sad... It's my favorite anime, yet I've never seen the entirety of it... *huggles her Tsukasa doll close*

.hack//Sign is a classic. I have a friend that is obsessed with it.
Also, I'd be interested in joining a mecha RP.

I was first brought into .Hack//Sign, I think, when I used to watch Adult Swim, back where they had anime like FLCL, and Big O. Either that, or it was still during the other programming.... anyways, I decided I liked it after watching a few episodes- not even the first. Most of my friends don't like it, or don't even know what it is whee Still... I love it.

Here is how I describe Evangelion to new people . . . "Take the bible, Freudian psychology, and big robot anime and shove it in a blender. Hit puree." pirate Still, I hated the ending with a passion.

Macross owns you. surprised That's not something you can argue against. It's just the way life goes. Especially Macross +.
shrugs
Nothing better than alien mechs fighting against hume mechs with the end result of cohabitation.

Sorry, I was just finishing a huge sprite project the last few days, so i didn't have enough time to keep up with this topic. Anyway, here's another edition of Yoder's uber-catch-up post. Enjoy!
Oh, okay. Thanks for the explanation Pansa. wink
Yes, rain is very enjoyable. I prefer it to a sunny day anytime.
Wow, movig sure isn;t fun, eh, DTT? Personally, I've never moved, but it doesn't seem like fun (considering all the people I've helped move before).
Welcome, Snow, Hanabi, Phaeton, Destinie, Pumpkin!
Gee, Gale, shameless plug there, huh? xd
Phaeton, we do say somewhere in the rules about a minimum post count, but aslong as you've been semi-active, we won't boot you. We really only boot members that've been gone for over a month with no explanation. Even then, we don't often do a member sweep.
Freerunning was derived from Parkour if I'm remembering correctly. Freerunning was made to be competetive while Parkour was supposed to be done for the beauty and health of it (like Tai Chi is mainly done for the mind/body benefits).
*opens eyes* Oh, Ivel's GaD post! *dashes off*
It is easy, Paheton. blaugh
Yes, DTT, I'm surely interested in a Death Note RP. It'd be very hard to stop god-modding, though.
I missed you, Tana-sama! I'm in CT, not too far from Maryland.
Well, Ivel, I am interested in a mecha RP (plus I have a good plot rolling around in my head). I'm in a mechy mood, because I just watched the entire Gundam Wing series in 1 week. mad p Mechwarrior is a great game series.
DBZ rocked (at the time) and Big O was cool (though they never really went much of anywhere during its short debut on TV).

Talon Prime Here is how I describe Evangelion to new people . . . "Take the bible, Freudian psychology, and big robot anime and shove it in a blender. Hit puree." pirate Still, I hated the ending with a passion. A reasonable explanation. Also, I agree with you about the ending. The series is so good for most of it, but the last two episodes basically make you go "WTF???" and twitch for an hour.
