Yeppers, we were actually pen pals for like a month. xO But it was secret, since we were really young and didn't want our parents finding out. I was just the one to always get the mail and steal the stamps.

I wasn't so sneaky. We used to chat on MSN with the webcam on (this was before Skype) and so eventually they just walked past the computer, asked who that strange boy was on the computer, and got a cheerful "That's my online friend! =D He knows my name and where I live! Isn't that cool?"

Oh, I was like that in everyday life, too. When I was eight or nine, my best friend and I came across a man with guinea pigs in the park across the street from my house. He said the guinea pig was about to give birth and he was looking for people to buy the babies, so I gave him my phone number and told him where I lived, with zero hesitation. 8D

Yeah, I couldn't get on the computer much in the olden days, and we had different time zones, and we just never really figured out anything besides Neopets on the computer, let alone any sort of webcam or chatting thing. I didn't discover copy and paste until I was like 11.
My parents are super old and from Asia and stuff, and my parents's first computers they owned were bought 7 years ago. xD So they were/are clueless about everything online, and if I told them that I have online friends even now, they would flip out. I had to teach my dad about Google. They are suspicious about Gaia, cause I'm always on it. Whenever I'm on Skype with and online friend and one of my parents walk in I have to mute and switch tabs while my dad plays with my cat for like 5 minutes and the person I'm talking to is like, "Where'd you go? o _o" for those 5 minutes and I can't even say why I'm not there. xD I'M SUCH A NINJA.
