((Lol, you made Deidara snag a sasuage two times before he could take a bite out of one XD))
Sasori gave a small nod, "Yes that would be horrid..." The red head knocked on a piece of wood. "Do you know why people knock on wood?" he asked, wanting to see if the blonde would actually get it right. While Deidara thought, Sasori took some brown sugar, pouring a tad into the oatmeal before stirring it in. Letting the sugar spread through the oatmeal, the red head grabbed a sauage, chewing the piece of meat thoroughly till it was gone. "You know, you're a good cook..... were did you learn?"
Gaara munched on an apple as he walked out of his house and off into the morning sun, which earned a glare from the red head. "Why do you have to be so bright at this time in the morning..." he grumbled before sighing and heading towards school. Another piece of the apple was torn off and eaten as Sabaku Gaara silently mused over the strangely satisfying comment that the Princess left in his journal.

((oops.. oh well, he's got two on his fork, now!))
Deidara blinked, chewing another bite of sausage as he thought. "Isn't it to... make sure whatever you say doesn't happen, un?" he asked. "Never went anywhere to learn... you just get tired of eating burnt stuff after a while, so you wind up teaching yourself, un." he murmured, smiling. He took another bite of his double-sausages.
((ooh, ooh! I drew a smexy picture of SasoxDei! I'll have to scan it when mom's computer is fixed.))

Sasori smiled, "Yes, that's what's recognized as the cause for the most part. In certain places people believe that the spirits that reside inside trees, or wood in this case, would often cause mischeif when they heard someone speak of an outcome they didn't want, so a person would knock on a piece of wood to disorient or knock out the spirit. In other places its the same thing but with faeries or other creatures that reside in trees or wood..." The red head trailed off while he started eating the oatmeal that had cooled down a bit.

"I didn't know you knew stuff like that, un..." Deidara mumbled, giving Sasori a thoughtful look, before dipping the remainder of his sausages into his oatmeal, and then eating them. He gave a smile after he finished the bite, and then set his fork aside, picking up his spoon to start on his own oatmeal.

Sasori made a thought 'hmm' before swallowing his spoonful of oatmeal. "I'm a Drama teacher, lots of stories have chunks of folklore in them. Eventually you get curious of certain tales and look into them. Some of the plays in my advanced class' book have little information boxes with notes to help understand what the writer was alluding to or what that ment back when the play was written..."
((Can you tell that my full year elective this year was Drama?))

(( xD I just had Jazz Band, Music Theory, and art.. >> ))
"Interesting, un..." Deidara mumbled in-between bites of oatmeal. He soon took a drink of his juice, working on finishing up his breakfast. Suddenly, he jumped up and moved into the kitchen and started going through the fridge. "I forgot to pack something for lunch, un!" he mumbled, starting to pull things out to make quickly. His half-eaten oatmeal was left abandoned, for the time being.

Sasori looked amusedly at Deidara as the blonde went into panic mood. He gulped down a bite of oatmeal before casually suggesting, "We could always go out to eat for lunch... it can be my treat since you let me stay at your house and cooked meals for me... it's the least I can do..." Sasori happily chewed on a second sasuage while he waited for the taller male's response.(( Ehehe~ Sasori-san reminds me so much of Sono-san from Sensitive Pornograph (a lovely yaoi anime) Presenting.... Sono-san!!))

Deidara seemed to skid into halt, before blinking for a few moments. "You... you know you don't have to pay me back for anything, right, un?" he asked, looking over to the redhead. Still, he seemed to stop panicking, and went over to lean over the countertop a bit. "You sure, though, un?" he then asked.

Sasori gave a small laugh, "But I want to do something for you... I feel like I'm taking advantage of you... and yes, I am sure. I'd like to do this for you." A smile was flashed in Deidara's direction when Sasori was finished talking. The red head took a small sip of his drink before continueing on finishing the small remainder of his oatmeal.

Lady Kiba Lady Kiba So it went that Chouji and Shikamaru got to be alone for a half our on the ferris wheel, just enjoying the night sky and each others precense. Chouji was a little disappointed when the ride started moving again, signaling the end of their ride. When they reached the bottom, he gave the man a nod of thanks, then moved to the side so Shika could get out.
"So, what do you want to do know? It looks like it's late..." ((when you two finish, why don't we move it onto the next day? Chippy and I can magically catch up when we're finished.))
Shikamaru stepped out of the ferris wheel, feeling a bit like the earth was moving under his feet. It must have been being in in something that swung for so long. Shikamaru looked to Chouji now, and said "So... do you want to go to your place or mine?"

Deidara gave a smile and watched Sasori eat for a few moments, before going back to put away what he'd pulled out. He then went back and sat down to finish his breakfast. When they were both done, he gathered the dishes and set them in the kitchen to be done when he got home.
"You about ready for work, un?" Deidara asked as he turned to look at Sasori, leaning against the counter a bit.

Sasori gave a lazy look down at his clothes, making sure he looked somewhat decent before running a quick hand through his fluffy red hair. "I believe so..." The smaller male padded down the hallway to the enterance, where he tugged on his shoes before opening the door for the both of them. "Ah wait! Where's my keys?"

Deidara jingled something in his hands before tossing keys to Sasori. "I took them out of your pants pockets before I put them in the wash... had them in the kitchen, un." he murmured, smirking. He walked to the door and got his shoes on after going and getting his things for work. Making sure he had his own keys, he headed out the door with a small yawn.

"Yours seems we slept over mine last night." Chouji said with a smile and held out his hand. "And that way we can avoid my mother and her camera. I'll just have to swing by home in the morning before we head off to school."

Sasori caught the keys somewhat akwardly, a slight blush of embarassment tinting his cheeks. "Uh... I guess I'll drive..." he murmered before hurridely tugging on his shoes, the red head followed the blonde out of the house. "I'll start the car while you lock the door..." he murmered more to himself than to Deidara.
