The figure took the coins out of his hand, seeming a little... feral as he did, the nails on his hand raking lightly against the palm of his hand, the coins landing in his pocket with a soft c***k.

*Enki cocks an eyebrow at both the feral actions of the man and the claws, whiched seemed far too animal like. Five people all front-flipped off of rooftops, and landed in front of Enki in a perfect pose, all carrying weapons of some kind. One had nunchucks, another twin sai, tonfa, katana and a bo-staff. Five people all carrying different weapon whilst all dressed in similar things but in different colours, with matching eye-bands no less.

As people tuned into their televisions to recieve their loval news and wether, they would be met with a very unexpected event being broadcast live to every major city on the Main Gaian Continent.
This is Leonard Johnson reporting for GNN. We interrupt our regular wheather report to bring you this shocking view! It seems that sometime overnight, the City of Lament has come under attack by a force of some sort! The signs of the battle are everywhere! The city's cannons seem to be firing on a massive Ice Giant of some sort, there are corpses of the invading force strewn all around! We're getting a closeup now...
The body of Yarneth would be clearly visable for a few moments before he dissapeared. As he vanished, the Golems panned into view as they crumbled into nothingness.
The carnage can be seen all across the plains ladies and gentlemen... Craters, bodies, smoke from fires, its a horrible mess... The enemy army seems to have been defeated, however, who would have attacked this place? We'll do our best to look for more information on this subject! We'll return shortly with your weather...

*Enki awakens from his sleep at the inn in Latent, gazing out the window and glad to be back in a place he finds familiar again after so long. He gets ready and heads down to the tavern, grabbing a bit of toast and eggs before leaving and looking around the town a bit. Although he enjoyed the feeling of being back in the town after so very long, something didn't feel... right. He walks around the town slowly, gazing side to side at the people and the buildings and the boats and the water and the... the boats?
The boats were there, sure... but something was VERY out of place. The marketplace was out of fish. No one is swimming. None of the boats are in the water. Enki walks over to the docks and cocks an eyebrow at the "Closed" sign. He walks over to the edge of the water and looks down into the crystal blue liquid, noticing something very not right. Silver things darting around in the water until one jumps out toward Enkis foot. Enki's eyes glow bright blue quickly as he holds out his hand to the thing. The water completely surrounding the "fish"s body holds it in mid-air as Enki looks closely at it*
What... in... blazes...?

A Ymiristani submarine surfaced off the coast, it did nothing to disturb the jumping silver fish, but it was there, lurking off the coast of Latent's water on routine patrol.

The ocean seemed to be traveling and acting as totally normal fish would. If they were looking at the docks, they would infact see co-ordinated efforts on the parts of the fish to attack only fisher boats. And those getting too close to the edge of the water. Even still, these attacks never led to a single injury or death. A man even fell into the water, startled by a fish biting a piece of nearby dock. As the man splashed in, he had no idea he had splashed right on a school of this "vicious attackers", he panicked and swam as fast as he could to shore...But the fish never even tried to bite him once. Infact, the silvery fish attacking the dock were the only fish that seemed odd at all! The rest seemed not only normal but seemed to be ignoring the attacking fish entirely. All was well.::

"Strange," muttered the Captain, who had been a Latent fisherman before he had joined the Yaits navy,"Almost as if they know what goes after them and are launching a pre-emptive. I want a full report on this wired to HQ, along with pictures."
The kilo sub ventured closer to shore, releasing mini-sub with a camera eye to take pictures of the silvery fish attacking hte fishing boats. The mini sub, attached to the main vessel by cable, didn't dare venture in the midst of the attack, staying as far to the rear of the strange attack as it took pictures with an underwater camera.
