arrow Diplomacy Mission: Woodland Clearing : Selestria
Shigen was nearby, closer then they thought. He was on the outskirts of the clearing...sleeping?! The boy came in and saw the pups sleeping and the thought of sleep and the lack of food on this mission cause the boy to lay down and rest his eyes while he waited for the group.
It wasn't long before he fell asleep though. So there he was ....sleeping like an idiot.

::indeed, shigen had fallen asleep, and watching over him was yet another large wolf. This one looked down at him with an amused smile. Since shigen had not actually approach the cubs but had curled up alseep like one of them, the wolves had made no move to attack::
::Selestria made a deep bow to the wolf that was approaching them::

Mimicing Selestira's movement, he bowed at the larger wolf. It wasn't as deep as her's because he wanted to keep an eye on the wolf. He had never been around them and he was wary. He spotted Shigen in the background and sighed, What an idiot.

"Yea I guess you are right." she chuckled and then shrugged. "But I guess we have to deal with what we have." she said as she lit only half of her whip on fire. She looked over at Humbra and smiled. She was happy that she was of some use on this mission.

Kasushi also bowed, about the same as Selestria. If they would not hurt Shigen, they probably wouldn't dop anything to hurt us. He didn't want to provoke them. He thought to himself, "At least Shigen is safe."

Yamato looked at Kinoru and said " so who will be first if they agree to the plan" Yamato then looked at areno and the others for there reply Yamato until the reply patiently that is not how Yamato acts normally but this was kinda serious to him.

Continuing down the cave with his partner, they eventualy came to an area with a whole bunch of random foliage strewn about. "Yeah." Bending down, the student would pick up a piece of wood. "Looks like some storms brought in these sticks.. Can you bring you whip over here, Kat-chan?" Quickly ripping off his right sleeve, he'd tie it around the top bit of the thick bit of wood. Stuffing some of the nearby leaves into the tied cover of his shirt, Humbra stood up and held it out to Kat.
"Can you light this up? So you can conserve your chakra, y'know?"

Areno nodded. "Giving up the objective after we have come this far would be foolhardy. What if these gems are a source of destructive power and these two forces are here searching for it... to wield it? They cannot be ordinary gemstones, being so well-protected and hidden." He closed his eyes, summoning up energy within.

"Daisan no Me..."
A bit of sand floated up from his body and formed into a miniscule eyeball. He sent this scouting scrap of sand out to the mouth of the tunnel to scout the situation for himself in terms of guards.

::the guards stood on either side of the doorway outside. They had long ago dismounted and stood guard over the village hall. They would appear to be unarmed as far was weaponary went::

Kat nodded. She flicked her wrist and the whip went flying really close to the thing Humbra was holding. The flame flickered then caught the sleeve and leaves mixture on fire. She smiled. Her aim had improved quite a bit since her training with her grandmother.

"I'm going to distract them. I'll transfor into a mouse and sneak out of the way, then I'll return to human form and get there attention and lead them into the forest. Once there gone you get out of here. For that you have 2 options. You walk around the camps and go back, or you take the form of the giant wolves from the camp and walk right through the wolf riders camp."

Edge pondered the situation. If there were two forces after the gems it would be tough to avoid them and he didn't like the sound of wolf riders. Transforming was one think when walking through the camp of soldiers but what about when it came to wolves? The animals themselves could probably tell just by the smell of them if they were the real deal?

(ooc: ::snickers a tthe group in the tunnel:: Wow, you guys are really funny. I think that someone is missing a key element here, but that happens. I'm just going to wait and see what happens. I don't recall anyone saying that anyone was going to steal the gems or that they were after a destructive power, especially in sacred land where no one but the leaders and their guard was allowed hehe.)

::the leaves burned well, allowing them to see a bit more of the tunnel, it was slightly uneven, the walls getting close in some places, the ceiling dipping or the wall becoming rough. It twisted and curved in many places, so it was indeed a good thing that they had a light. After traveling for awhile, the air actually became slightly fresher than it had been earlier::

::the wolf looked at them and then slipped one foot forward, lowering its head in a bow. After that, 9 more wolves exited the bushes around them, one giving off a howl, apparently calling the rest of the pack back to the home::
Greetings, honorable wolf tribe, my name is Selestria, I come from the village to seek council with your tribe. These are the guard that has been provided to me.
::Selestria spoke easily, her voice calm, as if being around these dangerous creatures didn't both her at all. The lead wolf nodded and then sat down::
The wolf tribe welcomes you.

Kaji widened his eyes a bit as he said, "Wow. It can talk," to himslef, though it was rather loud. In truth he hasn't been around animals much, not even nin animals, so he was kinda inexperianced in this area. He looked at the lead wolf and said with some confidence, "Thank you for welcoming us." He stood back up and looked back at Shigen and sighed loudly, he wanted to go over there and knock some sense into him, but he thought it would make the wolves think differently about them.
