Hey, I'll post this here, I guess, although I might (should?) make a topic on it in the FEF CB...
I'm "Seliph Calphy", AKA: "Airship Canon", or "TheHeroOfTheDawn". Main account got hacked, mods never got back to me, main account got banned following hack, mods still never got back to me, so yeah. There's that. "Airship Canon" is gone, and I'm here. I guess. Same person, different account name. Lamer Avatar.
Would've made this post earlier, but I've been too busy actually playing Awakening (LIVED UP TO HYPE. OMG. Game is addicting as hell.) or on GameFAQs (Westbrick is a Burnout Hipster Troll, and Endgame is the canon father of Owain) or SF... talking about Awakening.
So yeah.
There's nothing left to lose..!

Greetings. I'm not sure how I should do this, but I'll keep it relatively simple. Hello, I am Starkiller657, or Star for short is what people usually call me. I like games such as Devil May Cry and Final Fantasy, but my true passion lies in Fire Emblem. Which is rather obvious, but I felt like sharing it. It's my favorite series of all time, which is commonplace in this guild I'm sure, and I have my own Roleplaying guild of it myself here on Gaia. I have over two-hundred hours logged on Awakening currently, and god only knows how much on Binding Blade, Blazing Sword and Sacred Stones. And to finalize, my favorite FE character is Ephraim. Ephraim is epic on several levels. I do hope I'm not doing this wrong or something, and I hope to have fun in my time here. ^_^

Hey there newcomer! Don't worry, we may seem extreme or weird, but we are really friendly. Oh, you can call me Stefan/Stef, i speak with the green posts and my female counterpart speaks in red. We share the character Shinon so you can call either of us by it.
Yeah, what Stef said. We are pretty out there but theres no better place to be. biggrin Oh, yeah, you can call me Mandi. I also answer to Shinon and other nicknames.

I felt the same way when I joined. Still feel like that sometimes, actually. But everyone's super welcoming when we're not being super serious 'bout FE. I'm Mordecai, but I also answer to Grim. Feel free to make jokes about my username; I'm used to it.

Sure NP. It's great to have a new member here. You should fit in just fine~ xP
As for not playing the any of the FE games, It's totally cool. Though, I would say to give them a chance because I think the fire emblem games are very fun games. If manage to get a copy of the gba games I'd recommend FE7. It's kinda the game the drew me into the series and in my opinion still has the most replay ability. FE8 is also still good too though. There's also emulators out there which you can find pretty easily. (I cannot talk about it more than that since It's against gaia's tos to do so.)
PoR on the Gamecube is a great game too.
Or if you have a 3ds, awakening is also great to start out with since it's latest game in the series.

I second everything Rhys said. Radiant Dawn was my gateway FE game (PoR is also good, but a bit harder to find), but I think Awakening is also a good starter.

I've seen some join requests where people had never played FE games, but had played Smash Bros games. >>; Of course, the most rare join request I saw is someone commented about wanting to join the army and liked fire, but had never play or heard about FE games.

Hi there! I'm Mindee and I'm a mutant. I joined this guild to get away from sharing my thoughts with my telepathic sisters. They're not into video games much.
My favorite FE's are Seisen no Keifu and Thracia 776. Go Super Nintendo! Or Famicon!
