Leo shook his head as Rin finished and put the bottle aside. he lifted the baby to hi shoulder and softly patted his back until he burped, "i think that's the fastest he's ever eaten."

Ambrose slipped her hand into Greg's and gave it a squeeze, hoping this family would heal her husband's heart and soul far quicker than she ever could.

Oliver looked from the table to his glass in the corner and then to Kashi. he couldn't make someone of such higher standing sit on the floor. "I-" he whispered, looking back at the cup before lowering his gaze, "i'll sit at the table, Sir. the floor is no place for someone of your standing." he got his glass and very carefully inched into a chair at the very end, sitting on the edge as if ready to run at any moment, which he was.

Leo saw how itchy Elliot was getting and carefully handed over the happy Rin. the baby was looking around, stretching out his limbs. "he's trying to figure out what's what. maybe we should feed them more..."

Lewis looked up guiltily, "Um-i sort of, was playing with them...they were probably hungry when they woke up....sorry." Yuki finished and he burped the baby, "won't happen again?"

Oliver accepted the plate and put it on the table, "i just-i've not eaten at a table since i was sold," he ran a hand along the smooth surface and smiled a tiny little smile, "thank you." he took a bite and his eyes closed, all he'd eaten was the burn and cold left overs since he was two years old, aside from the fig. that one bite was amazing.

Leo nodded, "and a healthy baby. we'll start feeding them more often and see if that helps. Lewis will just have to cut down on his play with them is all." he smiled at the man, knowing that Lewis was just happy to be with children again.

Lewis nodded, "i'll be more careful, promise."

Oliver took small bites, his eyes on the others to make sure he didn't do anything wrong. so this is how royalty acted when they weren't on display. how strange. these princesses-he didn't think they were like most princesses. maybe things were as he'd been told, that the classes were more relaxed here. it seemed that way to him. he looked at his plate and was amazed and just how much food there was! they were so kind here, this was more than he'd eaten in the past week offered to him as if it were nothing. his stomach couldn't hold it all, but he kept forcing himself to eat, wanting to finish the plate so he didn't seem rude. he was only half way through, but he was already feeling ill. Oliver was used to unpleasantness, he could handle something like this. he took another bite, slowly chewing while trying to convince his stomach to not try and forcibly remove the excess food.

Leo smiled and nodded, "it's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding, love. i'll see you tonight." he watched Elliot go and knew he'd have to get ready too. and find the energy to move that much. "Mom?" he asked softly, not looking at her, "will you help me get ready?"

Ambrose's eyes filled with tears, "of course, my dearest. Nix, would you mind playing with the girls today?"

Nix shook her head, "it's ok." she kissed her mother, father and brother on the cheek before heading to the house where the others were staying.

Lewis flushed as he was reminded that their wedding was today as well. he's successfully forgotten. "um-" he looked at Al, "I've never done this before. what do i do? i don't think-" he looked down at the baby and whispered, "i don't think i can wear a dress. i'm sorry..."

Oliver stopped with a bite half way to his mouth when he was told he didn't have to eat it all. "oh-" he looked at the bite and pt it back down, "thank you..." he couldn't help it. the relief that washed over him when he was told he didn't have to force down the rest of the food was overwhelming and his eyes filled with tears. "L-let me help clean up. Please?" he hurried down from his chair, not wanting them to see the tears and know how weak he was.

Kiara smiled at the prince and bowed, "of course, dearest. we've many who could service you in this way. would you wish to follow me? i could help, if you wish, or find another for your aid."

Leo and Ambrose stood, Leo taking Rin with him, "We're going to get ready. Lewis?" Leo walked over to the man and held out the arm not already holding a baby, "here, I'll take Yuki so you can get ready. ok?"

Lewis looked up at Leo, his eyes wide, before he nodded and, reluctantly, gave the baby back. "let me know if you need help and i'll be right there, ok?"

Leo kissed his cheek, "of course." he gave Rin to his mother and walked with her up to the bedrooms to get ready.

Tsume sighed and stood up, "Leo says i'm to help you two get ready. i'm sure there are clothes already made for you, our spintresses love any reason to make clothes for people, especially fancy ones. you can wear those or what you brought with you. you're choice."

Lewis looked at Al, he didn't care what they did. "you're choice."

Oliver quickly gathered the plates, "please eat. i'll take care of the dishes." he hurried into the kitchen and had to use the stool to put the dishes in the sink. he filled it with water and only when the sound of it running would cover any sounds he made did he cry. only a couple of tears, he was done as soon as the sink was full. Oliver added soap and started to wash, not noticing that the water was scalding hot, used to the heat.

Kiara shook her head, "don't worry, I was only directing the placment of the flowers. they can handle the rest of their own. Clothing has been prepared as well, enough for you to pick from." she lead the prince to her home and indicated a stool, "please sit." she gathered a towel and various supplies she needed to do the prince's hair. she wrapped the towel around his shoulders and looked closely at his face, "do you just wish a trim or for me to style it?"

Lewis looked at his hands, "um, i-" he frowned and looked up at Tsume, "what do the clothes look like?"

Tsume shrugged, "knowing the seamstresses they'll have a choice for you. you can choose then."

Alice knocked on the door before walking in, a pile of white and silver clothing folded in her arms, "Tsu-tsu! Good to see you, Has, Pas, you too!" she smiled before walking to the king and his soon to be husband, "and hello to you as well! I am Alice, head seamstress of the capital! nice to meet you! I've some clothes that we were hoping you'd look at. if you like them then we can have them tailored to you in no time! or, if you like parts of one and some of another we can get that set up for you too! and if you hate them all, we'll start from scratch and get exactly what you want." she smiled and started to lay out the outfits on the empty couch, showing them the different styles, some more falia, some closer to their own.

Nix poked her head into the dining room and smiled, "morning."

Oliver looked at Justin and then down to his hands, "i-" he smiled a little, "it's not important. i am used to it." he went back to washing, "they don't get properly cleaned if the water isn't this hot." that's what he'd been told by the kitchen staff at least.

Kiara smiled, "I am an Asari, though there are n ot many of my kind left so I am not surprised you do not know of us." Though she didn't show it, there was pain behind her words. "We are not originally from here, but Falia accepted the remnants of our race without question. they have been very good to me the last millennia." she started to trim the hair when Fyr arrived, "i shall do as the prince wants. it is his day, after all."

Alice smiled, "this one will suit you quite well, Mr. King." she held up the outfit most like their own style and nodded, "you'll look dashing if you could go put it on backwards so i can pin it to your size? as for you, Mr. Minister-" but Mr. Minister wasn't looking at her. his eyes were fixed on one of the outfits that was more towards the falian style. It had a long tunic, a thick silver belt, and loose flowing pants that came in at the ankles. she smiled and walked to his side, "that one will be perfect."

Lewis jumped a little at the voice, but the girl's warm smile made him smile back. "i'll wear this one then..." he picked up the pieces of fabric and ran his hands over the cloth.

Alice started to giggle, "you two-" she had to look away, still giggling, "sorry, but your wedding surely is meant to be. of all the outfits here, those two are the only ones made of the same cloth. now go and change so we can make everything perfect!"

Nix hugged her back, smiling, "i didn't dream! all night, i just-slept. it was so warm-" she looked down at her hands and smiled, "it was a good night." Kashi's comment made her look up at Henry, but she wasn't sure what he was so made about. "what's wrong? you don't like the clothes?" she walked over and looked closely at the man's pants, "they are made from grass veins, do they not suit your tastes? we can get you something made from a different cloth." she didn't see anything else wrong. if anything, Henry looked dashing. "you're going to be popular at the party tonight."

Oliver watched Justin with amazement. No one had ever cared, in fact, they'd enjoyed watching him wash the dishes in the water before he'd gotten used to it. one time the head chef poured boiling water over his head while he was washing, saying the wash water wasn't hot enough. "they won't get clean-" he whispered, looking down at the now cooler water. he shouldn't argue, Justin was of higher standing than him. "i'm sorry. i'll get back to work." he promised as he started washing again in the considerably cooler water. it was still warm enough that everything came off, but it just didn't feel right. "I-" he concentrated on his work, "it isn't torture," he finally whispered, "it is far kinder than most punishments where i am from." Justin hadn't see the scars and bruises, he didn't know of Oliver's tongue being cut or the brands left by his possessive master. this innocent boy knew love and affection, a warm home and happiness, he knew nothing of suffering if he thought hot water torture.

"Hmm," Kiara thought about how to answer his question, "my people are inulectual. we thrive in knowlege and experementation. we also reviere beauty in all forms, such as art work but also how love softens a person's expression or anger shrapens the eyes. these are the things we seek." she finished the prince's hair and set to styling it, her hands deftly making the stubborn hairs fall into place. "there," she stepped back and smiled, holding a mirror out to the prince, "how is that?"

Lewis nodded and went to change as Al came out. Alice smiled and then turned to Al, pulling out her pincushion, "alright, if you could just stand on this stool here, Mr. King." she waited for him to step onto it before getting to work pinning the shirt and pants to the proper fit. "we don't need to do much here, our guesses were close to your actual size." she nodded and stepped back, "go and change out, but be careful, ok?"

Lewis came back, the clothes too loose and falling off. "Um, you might need to do a lot with mine...sorry."

Alice giggled, "nothing to be sorry for! come onto the stool and we'll fix you up." she waited for Lewis to obey before getting to work, humming softly to herself as she pinned.

Nix nodded, "i did notice that. there are many people here who don't wear any clothes at all. though, for one who controls the earth, baring skin helps to strength and control you ability. most of them go shoeless as well. they can flatten the earth under their feet so they don't step on anything. it's thanks to them we've such smooth ground!" she smiled at Justin, "hello. we're talking about Henry's outfit. i like it."

Oliver sighed and finished washing the dishes he had. he dried them and started to search for where they went, finding their places one by one, but taking his time. he was in no rush to go back out there with those strange people and their strange ways.
