[2] Sutii was a bit surprised that the only reaction he got from his opponent was a simple bump to throw him off balance. It did throw him off balance for a second due to the fact that he wasn't on the ground, but it was nothing he couldn't pull out of as he hit the ground, slipping into a roll. Using the momentum to get to his feet, he turned and came around with an outer crescent kick with the right foot to Cris' face.
Stephen's adrenaline was already beginning to pump as he dug through his combat tool box in attempts to find an effective attack. Seeing as Sutii didn't know anything about his opponent (save that he seemed "familiar") he wanted to get as much information on him as possible.
And from the looks of it so far, it seemed as if the man was doing the same.

And Sutii's foot would stop dead as it hit Reinhart's left forearm. Though he wasn't sure what Sutii might've been wearing or what lay beneath his skin he knew for sure he was wearing his bracers. Aside from being freakishly strong, the bracer Reinhart wore was freakishly durable. It may hurt Sutii to an extent it may not, but one thing was for sure, his foot went no further than Reinhart allowed.
That bloody aura still oozed from him like smoke on an open fire, it swirled, swayed, and faded into the air. Reinhart grinned, no doubt Sutii would be surprised to feind his attack stopped dead in it's tracks. For all it was worth Reinhart used help to block the attack, thought at the moment Reinnhart made sure it wasn't available to anyone's eyes but his own.
Like a reflex Reinhart dipped down low, swung his right foot across the ground to strike Sutii's own and knock him off his feet. A sweep put simply. That wasn't all however, he followed the flow of his spin with un-natural speed and once he'd completed a 180 degree turn he thrust his left foot out into a back. His foot was precisely where Sutii would be if he was falling to the ground.
It took a near second to perform the two actions but it was enough to catch Sutii off guard and once again, in mid air.

[3] Sutiiven was used to getting his kicks and attacks blocked - it was a part of life in this business, as everyone had their own strengths and weaknesses, and generally they were more adept at protecting themselves from unarmed attacks. As such, he did not hurt himself from the impact of the block, and instead reacted to it appropriately, pulling his leg back and coming back in with it, this time for a side thrust kick straight towards Cris' currently open chest. It was timed such that it would connect just as Cris' trip would connect with Sutii's ground leg, theoretically causing them both to go back and down. However, this was an unknown opponent, and with the fact that it was in the Void, anything could happen. Sutii was already relying on his wits and generally crazy strategies to keep up with this guy - this would be an interesting match indeed.

It was foolish to think he would catch Sutii by surprise, every fighter on Gaia was nearly ready for everything. As such Reinhart too was ready for a wrench in his plan seeing as Sutii recovered quicker than he'd anticipated. A change in tactics was in order and though he was still mid spin he still had his hands to dodge the would be side kick to his chest.
His sweeping leg curled back, his hands shot out parrying Sutii's leg and guiding it to Reinhart's left. Keeping with his motion and no longer in danger of being kicked he shot into the air mid spin and brought the same leg around to Stuii's face. He'd pushed himself forward and upon completing the full turn he again thrust his left out into Sutii's chest this time.
Yes, it was two kicks while airborne, it was possible, especially for Reinhart who fought to such a degree with his legs. Sutii was just lucky he hadn't employed anyone of his techniques. it would've been alot worse for Sutii if he had.

[4] It was Sutii's turn to block, bringing his arm up at the same time he was lowering his leg to the ground. As the foot planted in the dirt, the leg connected with the arm. In a similar fashion, he then blocked the strike to the chest.
Obviously unbeknownst to his opponent, Sutiiven too was a leg oriented combatant, performing kicks almost twice as frequently as any other maneuver or skill in his repetoir. As such, he was familiar with how to block them, and to an equal extent, how to counter them.
As he blocked the second one, he took the opportunity to attempt to quickly slip his arm under the leg, grab hold of it with the other arm, and twist around 180 degrees. A somewhat unorthodox move, but if successful, he would literally be trying to put the falling Cris into an Ankle lock, using his own momentum downwards to increase the pressure on the leg.
Again, not the most orthodox of manuvers, but Sutii thought on his feet, and tried anything he could get his hands on.

Sutii would soon find out that trying to catch Reinhart was like trying to catch a bolt of lightning. Literally. The moment Sutii grabbed hold of Reinhart leg a jolt of electricity passed through Reinhart, starting from his core and out to Sutii. Mind you the dose wasn't lethal, it was just enough to stun Sutii and more than likely make him reflexively let of Reinhart's leg.
If he chose to hold on however, he may find that trying to break his opponent's ankle wasn't worth being toasted. Sutii would let go of his leg and Reinhart would recover and face him once again. Then again Sutii may hold onto his leg and get an increasingly strong current run through him till he let go or caught fire.
Worse came to worse, Sutii was immune to electricity and Reinhart would employ another tactic. Each was a possibility Reinhart was ready for them all.

[5] Sutiiven indeed felt the shock as it coursed into him through his opponent, and instantly released the leg in order to back off of Cris slightly.
Sutii was very familiar with electricity. One of his friends happened to be an avid user of the stuff. Powerful and impressive to watch, but a pain in the a** to fight.
There wasn't much he could do until Cris arose. If he were to go down for an attack, he would likely get shocked. He hated to stand there like an idiot and await for his opponent to rise, but Sutii wasn't in any position to currently strike. Once Cris began to rise, he would have a chance to react, counter, fight, dodge, whatever. But discretion was indeed the better part of valor, and this was one time where discretion was the only logical (and sane) course of action.

And so they faced each other once more. Reinhart hated to employ such tricks but he so hated people trying to cling to his limbs. Especially when they were trying to break his joints. Enough playing around. Reinhart cracked his knuckles and his neck.
"Alright, I'm through playing with you."
To add emphasis his fists burst into flame. His skin looked molten and his eyes flared.
"Step it up a notch or you won't last another punch."
There was dynamite in his hands and it was almost a true statement.

[6] Cris wouldn't even get the chance to complete the first sentence, for as soon as he was on his feet, the rapidly lad came in again, this time with a roundhouse to the face with the right leg, followed by another side thrust to the chest with the same leg, and finishing up the combo with a rear thrust to the chest with the left leg. The result? Theoretically a dazed opponent pushed off balance enough to literally lift him up off the ground and throw him back a bit. If successful, Cris wouldn't fall far, but the rapid succession of kicks would show that the man was by no means playing around. He may have been wary about drawing his weapons due to his opponents electricity (they were silver, and consequently conducted electricity exceptionally well - good for the attacker, bad for the wielder) but he was by no means going easy on his opponent. Every counter, block, dodge, or attack only caused the lad to dig deeper into himself, to call upon his fighting spirit, and come back at his opponent with more and more force and power.
Besides - he was having fun.
In that "I'm so screwed, but I don't care" sort of way.

Though interupted Reinhart was by no means caught off guard. He delfected the roundhouse with his left arm, parried the thrust with his right, and caught Sutii's final kick with both hands. Every motion he made in turn lit his hand up with a crimson fire and covered his hands with a sheet of molten rock. Now Sutii's was caught by the ankle and it took not but a second for Reinhart to twist the limb in such a way that Sutii's body would be forced to follow.
The end result would be Sutii spinning in mid air till he hit the ground before Reinhart. Whether it was on his back, side, or on his face really depended on how long it took him to himt the ground. No attack would follow as Reinhart didn't agree on hitting a downed opponent, not even in the Void. Casually he'd take a step back and smirk as he flexed his motlen fiery fingers and stood ready for Sutii's next attack.

[7] Nothing could prevent Sutiiven from taking a spin, but as most of his previous opponents would be able to tell Reinhart, this kid wasn't one for going down so easily.
As the spin commenced, he would attempt to clip Cris with his other leg, but as the man stepped back this was not to be. Then the acrobatic skills of the lad kicked in, and Sutiiven righted his body mid fall in order to land upon his hands and slip into a trip like attack, again, somewhat futile due to the space between the two of them. The momentum of the attack allowed the lad to fluidly return to his feet, facing Cris.
He paused for a second to return with a smirk of his own, then returned to the offensive without a word. He came in, and threw a right punch, a left punch, a right punch, a knee to the chest, another left punch, and then shifted his body into another side thrust kick, followed by a rear thrust kick.
Now trying to set the pace, Sutiiven could only await for Cris to react to one of these attacks before his next move could be decided. Combos like this had a habit of being interrupted, but perhaps he could keep Reinhart at bay for the moment.

He was fiesty, he'd give him that. Sutii's first counter indeed fell short, both the swipe and the sweep were no problem to avoid. However, he came in a mad rush soon after and Reinhart couldn't help but smile inwardly.
First the right punch was dodged by a simple turn of his body, the left was deflected, the next right was blocked, he sidestepped to avoid the knee, another dodge to the next left punch, the first kick was parried, and the final one was also parried. Doing so to the last kick he parried it in a way that would turn Sutii to face Reinhart once more. Guiding Sutii's foot to one was the first step into Reinhart's counter. When he was fully facing his opponent Sutii would find Reinhart almost in his face as he'd taken one step forward.
With his arm cocked back at his side he threw it upward intent on striking Sutii's abdomen in an upward angle. Keeping in mind that his fist was now near explosive when it connected with Sutii the flames would erupt outward. The sheet of rock toward Sutii's body, and what followed instantly was a force so strong it boomed throughout the void like a grenade had gone off.
That's right. This was a special technique of Reinhart's he'd come to name the Grenade Knuckle. A suitable name at that since the explosive force behind the punch mimicked that of a grenade, the rock the shrapnel, and the fire well, it just burned. Assuming Sutti took it in full force he'd instantly be knocked upward and backward at once.
Needless to say taking something of such force to the stomach may have catastrophic effects. A grenade just went off at point blank range, it HAD to hurt. Even if blocked one had to assume. If that wasn't enough Reinhart still had another grenade ready in his opposite hand.

Maximos Damrius As soon as Damrius saw Maximos's other arm come up, and felt it grab his wrist, he decided a different tactic. He decided he would let the energy warp through maximos's left arm, and going through fast enough and hot enough that it would fry the nerves in the hand, and -- Maximos Unfortunately, Maximos could and would not be felled by any such tricks. Least of all would Maximos be brought down, or even really singed by more lightning. He had faced the element more times than he could count, and its constant attempts to shut him down or shut off some part of him never succeeded, and never would. For most elements or attacks, Maximos would need time to concentrate on and focus on the nature of an attack before it could be replicated. Here, he need nothing of the sort. Quote: - Lunoc Replication Seal - Luna Effingo Signum Covering Maximos' right and left arm are two matching seals. Their function is to absorb and dissect any form of common arcana or energy they are afflicted with. Maximos is then granted temporary access to that ability, each usage taxes the health of his own arm, and inevitably the arm itself. Once the arm is gone, the replication wears off. Each spell is not of the original element but a negative version, meaning a replicated fireball could even burn a flame elemental. As an exception if struck with light, dark, positive or negative energy based energy the seal will immediately invert the ability to its opposite. The seal however is limited, only able to duplicate simple or low end abilities. Higher level spells, are usually far to complex and require components that cannot be duplicated. The moment Damrius attempted to send an electrical charge through a set of rubber insulated winter gloves, he would see the bright violet glow engaging down the entire length of Maximos' forearm, to about the elbow. What energy wasnt out right eaten, was fizzled off by the very nature of the glove, and clothes that Maximos' wore, and what remained was little more than a tingle. Damrius tried to send a stunning shock at Maximos' head only to find that his left arm had bent at the wrist, and he had stomped forward. Almost immediately removing the space between the two fighters as he sent a powerful smack directly for the center of Damrius' chest. Yes, a smack. For some odd reason, the Shadow's hand was wide open, when it moved to attack. But, as one of the boys arms was being grabbed and the other was engaged in a failed attack, his chest was wide open. Damrius grunted as the smack hit his chest. However, is free arm was good for use, and he used it. As he was pushing back slightly from the attack, his left hand grabbed onto maximos's right arm. Probably not a good idea on his part, but better than nothing. With Damrius's right hand, he would try and pull it free. If that didn't work, then he would simply let this become a very dangerous grappling match. (2)

Damrius Damrius grunted as the smack hit his chest. (2) Even the most innocuous of touches can spell disaster. There was a reason Maximos smacked instead of punching. A closed hand can hold nothing, it can be only a fist. An open hand, especially with an exposed palm can hold lots of things. And for a Reaper able to use Soul Sight to see things non-existant in the material world, the concept of "holding something" took on an entirely new meaning. As some "thing", could easily be some "one". Quote: Secundus Vita | Second Life - Using a direct and very forceful impact on the body, and or a prolonged contact Maximos is able to insert the secondary soul into a victims body. The overload of energy causes most victims to enter a sort of overdrive, in which the body is pushed beyond its normal limits, usual leading to a temporary boost and the inevitable breakdown. For those that suffer the boost their senses are pushed to their maximum. Their mind struggles to process each and every detail of the environment around them. Survivors can usually recall everything down to the number of hairs on their opponents head. All of this while a secondary voice is screaming and forcing its feelings, and confusion around in the victims mind. The normal mind cannot take such a strain and usually soon afterward shuts down, to preserve itself. Though the body frequently gives before this. Maximos may use this opportunity to insert a third soul, although such an overload usually leads to immediate death. And that was precisely what Maximos had done, scooping up a free floating soul as he dug into the snow and sent it soaring directly into Damrius' body. You look like you need a boost. The Shadow said with a grin. Damrius would be able to feel the effects almost immediately. It would be as if, instead of hurting him, Maximos had just jump started his heart. He would feel energized, over powered, as if his body could do absolutely anything! Like he was invincible! Untouchable! He could count the snowflakes as they fell, and his brain immediately sorted their type and the number of points they had out of pure instinct. He would be able to immediately know how many branches were on each tree, and his brain would again immediately save the information. His mind would be pumping at a mile a minute! Combined with exceptional physical performance, it would seem to Damrius like Maximos had just super-powered him! But how? Why? Before he could even think of a possible answer, the other mind screamed. He would be able to hear a voice blasting in his head in a language he had never heard of and never known, dead Gaian language being spoken by a dead Gaian. As Damrius tried to focus on his emotions, he would find that like a broken television the station kept switching from his emotions to someone elses panicked thoughts and feelings. It wouldnt take long for him to realize that it took an extreme amount of energy to concentrate on even the smallest thing while the soul within him tried to understand what had just happened to it, like a panicked animal. And while his mind tried to take in every single tiny detail of the world around them, from how many snow flakes were currently in the air, to the amount of threads that made up Maximos' hood. Could he even see, when every time he tried to concentrate on the thoughts in front of him a second mind tried to toss the memories and visuals of an entire other life on him? And if he couldnt see...could he dodge the punch coming straight for his face? If he could, could he dodge while another soul tried to seize control of his flesh?

Damrius had dealt with this before. But, not on such an intense level. The force of the open palm smack had caused him to grunt, but the screaming that suddenly started had caused what was commonly referred to as "heart stopping terror". But not terror - shock. He had thought he had rid himself of the voices, but they obviously wouldn't go away. But, this one was different. It was screaming, not trying to make him completely insane.
His eys shifted back and forth between the visible metal on Maximos's body. Zippers, hoodie pulls, buttons. Not much to work with.
But, that would matter only a little - On top of the screaming voice in his head, the original voices came back. Maximos would notice that as Damrius clenched his teeth and snarled, that his canines were a bit larger than average - Vampire style, but not exactly your usual vampire. They weren't extremely long, just longer and sharper than the usual version of a person's teeth.
One voice mentioned the fist coming towards, him, which his left arm shot up to block. More were screaming at him to listen, and the loudest was the new one, the one that had been inserted into him.
Snarling, Damrius brought his left foot up hard and fast, feeling like it was just a blur as his enhanced skills set in, and slammed it in towards Maximos's stomach, trying to force him off, as well as pull his right arm free.
