Were you talking to me about the resolutions thing? If so, I sadly didn't make any resolutions this year. I usually never keep them and forget them early on. My holidays were great, I spent time with my mom. It would had been better if we got snow though. Never ski or snowboard.

Ooh you went to Cali Kita! I find that rather funny because I'm a California resident. I've never been to Tahoe or Big Bear, I really want to learn though. I don't do so well in the snow. sweatdrop So, I have a huge cold and its miserable. Do any of you get sick during winter time? I always do.

I use to, a lot actually. Now I'm doing better, but that could be cause I don't go outside that much. Hope you feel better, Paraphernalia_101.

Hey, Raveclaws. I'm sorry I haven't been on in ages. Actually, last time I posted, my name was Brennaka. Have I missed anything? Apparently Quidditch isn't going so well....

Hello Ravenclaws! I'm burden_upon_society and the following is my answer to the...er...question from the first post.
Where are your greatest strengths?
My greatest strengths are the two halves of the brain inside my skull. Doesn't this question sort of contradict itself though, with all due respect? Maybe it's just because my grammar is bad enough to terrorize all English teachers, but isn't "greatest strengths" sort of a paradox? Anyways; the strengths are in my noggin, the secondary source being books from which I like to suck knowledge.

This is...the second question.
What makes you happy in your life and why?
A lot of things make me happy in life. I like figuring out how and why things work, so I do a lot of reading on interesting topics.

Hi burden_upon_society! Welcome to Ravenclaw, home of the intellects (but that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of brainiacs elsewhere!) Hope you have fun in this guild. Sorry, but a lot of us haven't been online recently. I suspect that it's because of family, economic issues, or they're simply being studios like a good Ravenclaw! redface Yea. I'm not a good Ravenclaw. o.o But hey, as long as we all have fun and enjoy life while it lasts, right? I feel like some cliche machine suddenly.
Oh yeah, and I think there's a rule dating to sometimes 6 months+ where the "administration" wanted people to not double-post but rather edit onto the previous one.

The Queen of Lace, yeah, Quidditch died. But then again, the first game didn't really ever manage to start...did it? Maybe we'll revive it sometime.
Welcome to Ravenclaw, burden_upon_society. Well...'greatest strengths' isn't really a paradox. I mean, the words compliment each other. So it's like saying 'best strengths' or 'favorite strengths' or blahbityblah. Something like that. Even 'worst strengths' wouldn't really be a paradox, because it might just be a strength that nobody but you like. Though I guess that wouldn't be a strength...or maybe 'weakest strength' could be something that people don't notice, but you know makes you special. Huh. o__O That made my brain hurt.
Anyways... So what has everyone been up to lately? I'm going through finals week, and I'm totally amazed by how easy all the tests were. Jeez.

I've been writing Mid-term exams. I swear Macbeth came back from the dead to gnaw on my brains or something. I just finished my English and Biology exams today...don't know how I did. I have two exams tomorrow too; wish me luck! sweatdrop

Sounds terrible. I feel your pain--I have two tomorrow, two. Math will be hard... Hahah, I did English and Physics today. We didn't have an exam for English, though...which was nice...
I'm trying to find a summer camp to do that's science-related and will actually teach me something, unlike some of the crap courses I took before...-sigh- Anyone know any organizations?

Well, there's summer classes everywhere! I'm not sure about camps, but there's CTY and practically every college/university offers courses including Harvard, Stanford, and Yale... biggrin I hate finals, and Shakespeare just loves playing around with us 21st century people. Haha...

Hi to everybody! I'm finally completely rid of my midterms, for this year. Between them, school work in general, sports, and everything else I have not been able to come here for a bit.
Hmm. I too am looking for something science related to do this summer! I typically have just volunteered at a camp or daycare, but I wish to something where I might learn something this year.
