"Funny..." Donovan replied looking at Gion with a smirk, "We were just talking about you on the way here."
He was certianly amused, this might be a fun trip after all, at least.. for him anyhow.
"Anyhow," Donovan replied, "We won't go after them unless there's a lead to be gained from it, it's just something to keep in mind if we need more information. They're easier to get information out of... well provided you promise them their boss isn't going to kill them... this is starting to sound more like a mafia the more I think about it," he grumbled a bit, he didn't like organized crime, they were idiots.

"Why not? He's an excellent fighter," Yue pointed out, "And I can see how the name came to be."
Poor guy was only barely taller than his elder sister who was sort of in the same boat at the moment. Besides who knew how much he had changed over the years.
At that moment Mia finally caught up, the little black haired girl with pale skin (and amazingly not burnt to a crisp) held her manically grinning toy cat to her chest. She had worn her usual school clothes but was bare footed at the moment.

Triton didn't see the big deal though it now made sense to him how much a name came to existence. His thoughts though where intrrupted as Mia caught up with them.

Daemon knew that Gion would go, and it would mean to spend time with people that he had never met before.

Nadya smiled down at Mia. The little girl was exactly as she had seen.
"Now that you're all here," she murmured softly, reaching a hand out towards her guests, "why don't we head inside? You can all cool off and get something to eat and drink. We had lunch only a short while ago - have you eaten yet?"
She stepped to the side and moved one arm toward the house, indicating that they should head inside.

"And clean?" Mia inquired holding up her stuffed cat, "Alice is dusty."
She paused for a moment, knowing that Nadya was a hostess and that she was going to help them. She smiled up at the elven woman blinking.
'Please?"

Triton wondered absently when did Mia get that cat, mother probably didn't buy it. Though it was cute... in a creepy Mia sort of way. Suited the kid, now that he thought about it.
"Well.. we ate a bit on the way," Triton replied, "But thank you that would be nice."

It would be interesting, to be around a child again. She hadn't been in years ...

Gion walked close to Nadya's side as they led the others into the house.
Daemon? Did you want to talk to any of them yet? he asked his friend silently, hand resting on the hilt of the sword. The contact wasn't necessary, but it was in a way reassuring.

Triton followed the two, knowing the others would as well. This trip it sounded like was going to become more interesting than he originally thought. Now the question was, was this a good thing or a bad thing?

Yue walked along side Triton as he watched Mia skipped along side Nadya like nothing was wrong. Attaching herself to their hostess as it were.
"That would be nice too! It wouldn't be good for Alice to be by herself, she gets into trouble that way," Mia replied back.
Also she could change into clean clothes and look proper. Deserts were not good for clothes, she decided quite quickly she didn't like the desert at all.

Donovan mused watching Mia that seeing her be more child like was actually more creepy than her being as she was. Maybe it was because she named her stuffed animal Alice, which he was damn certain had something to do with Alice in Wonderland.

Perhaps another chat with Triton would be nice, the last time we've talked well.... I didn't know he was my grandson.
Daemon replied back, so that would be quite nice, it looked more of the family came along.

Nadya laughed softly. "And would you like to clean up before or after you eat?" she asked the child in amusement. "It's up to you. Whichever you would like."
She opened the door for everyone and held it open to let them all pass through.

Sure, Gion nodded inwardly, pausing before the doorway. He unsheathed the sword and turned, holding it out to Triton in offering. He smiled encouragingly at the neko. He would have signed, but his hands were busy holding the sword, so he couldn't.
