Desiree wandered into the forest, playing her flute as she walked. It was one of her darker tunes, something that would raise the dead. Wisps of shadows floated around her, cooling the air and moving in silence.

Miko stopped at the very point where she had met Desiree and sat upon the same rock they sat upon acouple weeks before. With a smile she thought she heard a fluter, but her ears could be tricking her, being alone did that at times; only when the sound grew louder did she question it.
" Desiree? "

Well I for one can't imagine what state of mind you'd have to be in, and how much patience you'd have to have for that. She shook her head and sighed, saddened by the fact that one with such a beautiful exterior would be so...not on the inside.

Desiree continued to play, not having heard her name being called out. Her shadows swirled about, spotting Miko as they rounded a corner. Slowly, her song came to an end, the shadows staying around her. "Hm? Ok, Miko! I didn't see you there." She smiled to her, holding her flute infront of her.
Drake's grip on his sword's tightened but he made no move to strike her. He never hit a woman unless she proved that she could fight him just fine. The woman infront of him had only played around. "Think what you will but my friends are true. One's even in the Underground with me." With that, he turned to find somewhere to sit and try to relax again, putting his swords away

She smiled birghtly to Desiree even thought she looked so eerie for her skin was so pale against the shadows. " That was a beautifully haunting... " Miko murmured pleasantly. " Whatever are you doing out here so late in the evening? " She inquired, rising from where she sat.

"Thank you." Her smiled widened some before she let her shadows go off to explore. "Me? I dunno. I've been feeling restless lately so I decided to come out here for a walk." She then tilted her head slightly at Miko. "And how about you?"

Hiyoshi released a sort of 'C'est la vie' sigh and shook her head. The mortal world weilded strange creatures, and she was finding most weren't accepting her personality. She shrugged it off and watched him head off before slinking through the woods, continuing her silent, lonely exploration of this new world.

Drake settled down under a tree and relaxed but he knew Ray would probably come looking for him soon. She knew he'd be around here somewhere.
Sure enough, Ray entered the forest moments later, looking around for her companion. She wasn't sure if he'd be close by or deeper in so she just decided to start here and work her way in. Meir kept perched on her shoulder, know that Drake didn't like him so much.

" Me? " Miko replied. " It seemed so lonely within my home. I decided to take a walk in hopes of stumbleing upon someone, and low and behold I found you, Desiree. " She smiled. " I guess my journey out into the cold was not futile in the least. "

Desiree stretched then moved over to Miko to sit beside her. "Been a bit lonely for me as well...though I did meet a nice boy." She shrugged lightly, watching a small bat flutter by. "Oh, I heard that there will be a masquerade in a couple of weeks. Are you going? I think it'll be a lot of fun!"

" A maquerade?? " Miko murmured in abit of a dreamy sense. " I had no idea; certaintly I would be going. I wouldn't want to pass up to oppertunity to meet new people. " She smiled. Miko had almost missed the first part of what Desiree said and her eyes went abit wide. If there was one thing Miko loved it was talk os romance. " A boy?? Oh Desiree, that's wonderful!! What's his name?? "

Desiree laughed lightly. "That's great! I know just about everyone at the manor will be going. It'll be wonderful." When Miko mentioned the boy, Desiree waved her hand and blushed faintly. "His name's Bradley but we're just friends. His sister says he's got a crush on me...but I don't want to move fast in anything right now. My last relationship wasn't so grand."

Miko nodded her head and gave an 'ahhh' response when Desiree answered her question about the boy. She dismissed that subject quickly not wanting to seem to prying about Desiree's affairs and turned back to the snippet about the masquerade.
" That man you mentioned isn't going to be there is he? that one you described as being 'flirty' or something of the like. " Miko questioned, so she would know whether or not she would be required to keep her appearance somewhat plain so as to not get the man's attention.

Desiree made a face then shrugged. As much as she didn't want him to be there, he probably would be. "If girls will be there, so will Loki. Heard he's already played around with two girls, one a little more than the other. Hopefully he'll bother other girls and not us."

" I'd hope so. " Miko murmured. " I don't believe I'd want to be known for toying with him if he already has a distasteful reputation.... " She looked around for a moment and then back to Desiree. " We don't....We don't need dates to this masquerade do we?? I don't want to show up and see that we were required to bring someone with us... That would be so very embarrising. "
