She sighed again, curling her body towards him. She kicked the corner of the couch, causing it to slide down to a more horizontal plane. She kissed his pulse point, closing her eyes. " I think I'm ready to try sleep again." She said, yawning. She blinked, her eye lids feeling extremely heavy. Her vision blurred as she laid her head more fully on Lan's shoulder. Closing her eyes again, she stretched a little before she was comfortable. Slightly dazed, her tails pooled on his lap and stayed still. Her breathing slowed to a repetitive pattern as she slowly succumbed to sleep. Brushing his neck with her nose, she slipped into the dark void of deep sleep, content in his arms.

" I'll be here once you wake up my beautiful kitsune." kissing her forehead Lan reached down for his coat which laid next to him. Covering the tired Kitsune Lan pulled his arms from under his coat and wrapped one arm back around her as he gently stroked at the back of her head with the other not wanting to disturb her "just rest now." keeping watch as she fell asleep Lan gave a loving smile as fell asleep with his head at hers.

(good mornin) bubby was wasnering around the taver to try to memorize where what turn whent wear. he was also looking for someone to help him figure out what he was suppsoed to do in the tavern.he ouldn't find anyone so he continued on his way of memorizing what turn when were.

Elfir awoke with a start the next morning. Rather than his usual station on the roof, the janitor had found a small clearing filled with boulders of varying sizes and taken refuge there; he didn't really want to be around people much for now. Stretching, he remembered the cursed weapon he had found yesterday and then was reminded why he had chosen this spot. "Better warm up a bit before I test it out," he thought excitedly, then began his usual drills. Feeling no added wieght to his limbs, his figured Sakura was nowhere about; all the better. She'd be suspicious of that weapon of his, no doubt. Maybe even take it away, he thought with a spurt of rage, as he picked up the battle axe, then dropped it, surpised to find he black pearls along the handle... oddly warm? Shrugging, he picked the weapon up once more and began to pace himself, swinging at the smaller boulders. It cut deeper into the rocks than an ordinary axe should, but the pearls still had not cooled off yet. Looking at the largest boulder in the clearing, roughly about the size of a small hut, he drew the axe back and decided to put all he had into this one, recruiting his full rage, rage at his comrades slaught, rage at being considered weak, rage at the evil world he'd been left behind in. The dark pearls suddenly glowed a violent red, the light radiating everywhere. Then his blow fell.
The boulder was nothing more than a few smouldering fragments littering the ground. But Elfir didn't notice. Because he was staring at the blood on his hands. His blood. He continued to stare in disbelief. "M-my... blood?" Before the blow fell, the pearls had grown scalding hot; he felt energy running rampant; it had came from his wrath! But... the only reason he had been injured... was because he was weak. He looked at his hands once more. There were holes through the skin where the energy had been released, but the wounds themselves would heal. He couldn't tell anyone; they'd be sure the weapon was evil; his weakness was the only reason he'd been hurt. As he tried to figure out how to conceal these wounds, he decided he must get stronger to be able to wield this mighty weapon... and perhaps a pair of gauntlets wouldn't hurt, either. Hands shaking, he placed the weapon against a boulder and decided to leave it there instead of carrying it into the bar, which was sure to draw suspicion. He entered the bar, hands still bleeding, to find that Ku Sune was nowhere in sight, and that Lan and Sakura were curled up together, along with the fox kit, asleep. Perfect. Then he noticed he was not alone; the brawler from yesterday was wandering around the bar too, it seem, looking a tad disoriented. "Eh.. sorry, be wit'cha in a sec," Elfir whispered, then indicated his bloody hands and turned towards the sleeping trio and added, "Don't tell 'em, 'kay? It'll be fine." Fetching some rags from the broom closet, he tore them into strips, then used them to bandage his hands after washing them. "I'm really just a janitor, y'know," he said as he went behind the counter. "So, what'll ya have?"

bubby walked in the bar and elfir asked "what will you have?" and he respoded "and cup of water and hi im bubby." he pormised not to tell anyone about the wound on elfirs hand. he then asked what hes suppoesd to to as a new guy.

Elfir was relieved "Bubby", as he was called, asked for a glass of water; the janitor had no experience as far as alcohol was concerned and willingly filled a glass and handed it to the brawler. Answering Bubby's question, Elfir said in an undertone, "Well, we're just a tavern out here in the middle of nowhere, barely had any customers so far, 'cept for Lan over there," he nodded at the sniper now asleep next to Sakura, "she's my boss, there," nodding towards the fox-girl,"and there was another girl, s'posed to be the barkeep, haven't seen 'er, though. She's kept to 'erself mostly," he added thoughfully. "Actually, we're kinda understaffed right now; I'm sure you could land a job if you wanted, but you'd have to ask boss-lady over there, though I'm not sure waking 'er up's such a hot idea, right now..." he added, helpfully. Noticing the glass Ku Sune had dropped the day before, Elfir went over to inspect it, picking up the pieces. "You drop dis?" he asked Bubby, who shook his head. Shrugging, Elfir put the pieces in his pocket to throw away later, then coming up suddenly with a plausible excuse, said, "Kay, bout these wounds, if anyone asks, I'm tellin' em I cut my hands pickin' up broken glass, and you'll vouch fer me, 'kay?" He winked conspiritavely at Bubby, waiting for his reply.

"Janitor's taken," Elfir said, pointing at himself, then adding as an evil smirk came about his face," but I hear there are still a few openings left for a maid if yer int'rested...."

sune-ku slowed down to a hult when she saw a giant weeping willow she was still a wolf at the time so she sniffed the air it smelled like her old home then she curled in to a ball under some roots ad started to weep then she feelt a nuge at her back she looked behind her it was a tiny baby wolf that that was abanoned it was week at it looked like the pack left this little one and it was hurt its leg tring to run away from somthing she turn back to a human and cratled it still crying. she nussled it and started to walk to the tavern ishe relized it will take about a two days as a human so she turned back to a wolf and picked it up with her jaws a ran to the tavern she got there in no time sune-ku saw sakura and lan sleeping and a new commer and elfir she ran up stairs then put the tiny wolf in the bedroom and she turned back to a human put pjs on then found the baby wolf playing in her dresser and smiled then she noticed she was limping less now wondering why she made a pouch out of a sweat shirt and put her in it then she got a baby bottle (from a past experence) and walked down stairs then she filled the botle with warm milk sat in her chair then feed the little wolf.

Elfir rubbed his eyes; he coulda swore a wolf had just ran in here again. I must be delirious from hunger, he thought. He looked around; where the devil did they keep all the food? Suddenly, Sune-ku came down the stairs; Elfir figured she'd been up there the whole time. Tipping her a cheery nod, he said, "I'm going crazy, methinks. I saw a wolf just run up the-" Then he noticed the little wolf cub she was cradling; what the heck was this, adopt a baby animal week or something? He sighed, shrugged, and went to his little corner as usual.

bubby was walking after talking to elfir and saw a wolf running and he thought "i must be going insane... i need more sleep."then he saw a girl
with a baby wolf, but she didnt see him so he said to the girl he haddnt seen befour" hi im bubby."

"That's Ku-sune, the bartender," Elfir explained. "Hey, just outta curiosity, what brings ya here? Who's that dude you were tanglin' wit' out there?", Elfir asked. He hadn't really chatted with anyone lately and was growing dangerously bored, anyhow.

Elfir wondered where she'd been; shrugging, asked from his sojourn in the corner,"Hey, Sune, um don't mean ta bug ya from what yer doin' but.... do ya know where the food is? I mean, you probably haven't eaten yet either, but... I'm freakin' starvin, man!"

She stretched, yawning. Her eyes fluttered open as she awoke with a start. " What the...?" Looking around she saw Lan and sighed. Her ears perked up immediately. Looking at the occupants of the room, she sighed again. Stretching to inhumanly far lengths, she stood, her tails curling tightly before falling limp at her side. Seeing Sune-ku and the wolf puppy, she cocked her head to the side in question. Smelling the air, she twirled around, trying to find what she smelled. "Elfir? Why do you smell like human blood and burnt flesh?" She then looked at Bubby. "Lost?" She looked at Elfir when a growling rumble was heard. " I'm going out on a limb to say you're hungry."
