Hey, everyone.
The name's Devin, or Guy, or whatever XDD. (If someone calls me whatever I will give them internet cake)
I've been a steampunk lover for a large part of my life, but found out that it was actually called that about two years ago.
I'm from Illinois, but I go to college in Holland, Michigan, so yay...
uhh...yeah. I'm not very artistic (I love to draw, but I suck) but I can make costumes really well...Never tried my hand at steampunk costumes before, though.
It's lovely to meet all of you!

How is everyone?
I'm fairly new to the Steampunk fashion, so hopefully I can learn a lot from this guild and eventually contribute a few things as well.

Firstly, thanks for accepting my somewhat incoherent request post. smile
I'm Ana, and, uh... well, I love everything steampunk. I can't remember exactly when I started loving Victoriana, but it was a few years ago when I encountered on an article on steampunk and just thought "Wow, this is exactly what my life needs". My steampunk attire is still a work-in-progress (I have yet to find the perfect pair of goggles), so for now I content myself with working on a steampunk-esque novel and littering my room with PostIt notes of possible steampunk contraptions.

Hey there all!
Thank you very much for letting me join the guild!
My name is Castalia or Casta, if you'd prefer. A couple of tid bits about me, is that I am a belly dancer and one of my favorite poets is Edgar Allen Poe. Steampunk was presented to me by a couple of good friends and it intrigued me. Although, I must admit that I am confused with some of it through my friends' explanations of it.

Hi all. I'm Queen of the Penguins, which most often tends to get shortened to Queen. I've loved Victorian-era anything since I was little so I was absolutely thrilled to the core to learn about Steampunk. I'm not the most well-versed in the area, but hey, I'll learn.

I found out about Steampunk through the internet,
like all other great fashions I collect.
Yes, I collect fashions : D
AND I'm in love with the Victorian era
(although I've recently come to appreciate their living conditions,
based on the power outage we've been experiencing in Ohio sweatdrop )
I've really come here to get help with some DIY things,
seeing as I've never tried making things that are this complex before.
My favorite accessory of this fashion has to be the goggles : D

Hey, my name is Shusaku Shun. This is my original account but I have another account on gaia that is actually the user name/pen name I use most often. That one goes by Alistor_Strange and it's an account name I use for almost anything. Anyways, I actually like to draw quite often and have started to draw styles that resemble steampunk a lot lately. Also, I have been working on a comic for some time called All Things Considered or A.T.C. Other than that I find steampunk pretty cool and decided to learn more about it. So forgive me, for I am a newb when it comes to Steampunk. sweatdrop

 'Ello there all, Samet here.
There is not much to say about myself that has not already been said about others.
However, for the sake of all things brief, that is what i shall try to be.
I absolutely love all things steamy.
The fashion, the literature, the science, the engineering, the historical aspects, and even the slight apocalyptic feel.
But above all others, I adore airships and all similarly steam powered vehicular motion devices.
Oh, did I mention ray guns? My steamy fetish extends to those as well.
I do not dress nearly as steamy as I would like to, for the budget of a college student is minuscule at best,
but once I discover the secret workings of my [deplorably] non-steam powered sewing machine
I hope to remedy this horrible predicament.
I am first and foremost a writer and I fancy myself an artist as well,
though my talent in the later is ignominious at best.
I am also a dedicated bibliophile and can be quite eccentric.
Before this harangue of mine stretches too long
I shall simply say it is my most grand pleasure to meet the lot of you
and I do hope we become well acquainted in short order.

Hi I'm new here too. I've been on Gaia for almost 3 years now, and I'm so happy to have found this guild. I've always been a classical literature nut, and into victorian goth fashion, so those two things combined naturally led me to steam-punk.
I'm not sure what else to say, except, I'm from Canada, I'm a classical singer, and I'm vegan too. Yeah, I'm a bit of an oddball. But I hope I'll fit in here! XD

hay im new here but im loving the guild already =3 hoping every one in here is nice and steamy
. so i love steam punk and i love art i love being helpful and i love rping even though i am not that gud at it ]:. i have been on gaia for over 1.5 year not much if you think about it and there is something you will not know about me ever which makes it even more interesting mrgreen

Hi, from Washington State.
My length on gaia, has been about 4 years, off and on(am back now!). Am happy to see Steampunk is recognized here and it seems ever growing and mutating. I've been a fan of Steampunk for a while now, as I've been into the Industrial scene since being a teen, Steampunk genre and aesthetics really were in my taste.
I often wear outfits, put together and made of the style. I've also done a bit of jewelry that falls into the Steampunk category. I also enjoy -subtlety- mixing in other styles, seeing what works well.
I hope to post them sometime to help out other's with ideas for their outfits.
