Jon stirred slightly as he felt Mara's hand again. His eyes opened and he looked at her sleeping figure. He could tell by ehr face nightmares clouded her sleeping mind. He stroked her cheek and put her head on his knees. He then rested a hand gently on her head and fell asleep again, his hand still beneath her's.

Inside her mind Mara was standing in her room. She seemed to be in wedding type clothing. She saw a figure at the door.
"Jon?" She said turning towards It. It walked towards her and became more tall, its eyes became yellow and slotted. It became a shadow monster and attacked her. She somehow felt all the pain that night.

Katriana walked around the temple that night trying to figure out what to do. She was going mad. She'd only been without Renon only the beginning part of her life and then it had only been a day. She feared for them. She neded to get out of the four walls. She walked outside into the fresh air and breathed in deeply. The poison was gone but the pain was still there though only when she walked for a long time. She went to the lake again and sat down.
Tori had a piece of bread in her mouth when she spotted the queen again. She went over to the queen and lay her head in her lap. She was in her fox form so she just loked like a regular fox rather than her human form. Her eyes gave it away though.
Katriana looked down at the fox that had come to her and she petted it's head gently.
Naotsu returned home laying on her new futon. She sighed from the comfort. The only thing she wanted to do was have a family. That would never happen. She knew if she was to get the princess away from the castle and into the hands of Desu and Devion, she might be able to have somewhat of a family. Devion had promised her a spot in the kingdom as a child. She knew all words were just trickery. There had to be someway of getting the princess out and she wouldn't give the princess to Devion unless she was promised a lowing family.
Kiaria held her head as she returned to the Night Stalker Kingdom. She wasn't sure of Desu's location. He wasn't in the location she'd last thought he'd be. She threw her files onto the ground. Sure, this had to be in the Human Kingdom as well. How else would Desu know. Kiaria had looked down on the ground and saw a picture of her mate and her daughter and that did her in. On top of everything, she had nothing. Before she even collapsed her slaves were beside her and holding her. If she was suppose to be a vampiress born of two vampires as she was, how did she have such mortal feelings. The priest died to save his wife and daughter and her daughter died because she didn't bring herself to deal with traitors of the Human Kingdom.

Desu looked at Devion, pulling himself up. Blood dripped from at least four wounds on his body. "Shut up Devion," he snarled.
Renon's head lay on his crossed arms, his ocean blue eyes closed. A lock of brown hair fell in front of his face, but he did nothing. Beneath his arms were maps, a small candle still lit at his side. His chest rose and fell with each steady breath.
Though it was late, Kensho was still awake. He sat on the roof of the temple, looking out at the full moon. His eyes reflected its glow. He let out a low sigh, his soft ears picking up the slightest sounds. In one hand, he held one of his tails, running his fingers through the soft fur. His other and lay at his side.

Mara awoke with the dawn. Jon had stayed with her and kept her safe.
"Jon, Jon." She said sleepily, shaking him gently. She raised her head from his lap and sat up in her bed. Her eyes were weary and her arms were bruised. "Jon, its morning wake up." She came close to his face from underneath. She could feel his breath. She tried to stand but her leg wouldn't let her. It was like an ancor to a ship. She reached for the window, but it was outof her reach. She hoped Jon would wake soon.

[color=darkred]"Oh please." Devion looked up at the man, "Your pathetic. You got the girl twice and yet you couldn't keep a good grip on her. I don't think I've seen a worse king. I would spit on you but my spit means more than that." She rolled her eyes and pushed off the wall. "Pathetic." She mumbled again.
"Are you alright King Kensho?" Feono asked as she came up to the temple.

Katriana smiled and then noticed the the fox she was petting hand silky hair. She looked down and noticed that it was the fox she'd meet yesterday and she smiled seeing the girl was sleeping and that she had finished eating the bread she'd set in Katriana's lap.
Tori nodded off to sleep after being petted. She felt like a kid the way her mother used to pet her to nuzzle her until she fell asleep.

Jon eyes flickered as he sat up tiredly. "What Mara," he asked, his voice husky. He rubbed his eyes.
Kensho looked at Feono. "Yes, just fine." He smiled at her before hopping down. He landed smoothly.
"Do you ever shut up?!" Desu's voice was agigtated.

Devion laughed, "It really depends. Now why don't you get off your sorry a$$ and try fixing this. I'll help, just for you."
Feona smiled, "Wow." She mumbled watching him come from the temple to the ground. She bit her lip and looked at the ground, "I... um..." She lost what she was going to say.

"Jon, I dont want to be a burden but could you help me up?" She said, her cuts and bruises were better. Not healed. But none the less better. She still looked slightly dizzy and tierd but she was awake.

Kensho looked at Feono, his head titled slightly in dog-like curiousity. "Yes," he asked, voice soft.
Jon smiled at her. "Of course I wouldn't mind," he said, standing up. He held out his hand.
Desu glared at her, his bat-like wings thrown outward. "Gee thanks Devion but I don't help from a bi*** like you," he snarled.

Devion's eyes narrowed, "Oh like your any better. Face it you suck by yourself. Have you been able to accomplish anything?"
"I don't... I don't remember." Feona said glancing up at him and then back at the ground.

"Thanks." Mara smiled taking Jon's hand and standing. Her leg was much better now and she could put more weight on it. She fell on to Jon blushing slightly. "Sorry." She said straighting herself up & looking directly into his eyes.

Jon couldn't help but smile. "No problem," he said. Suddenly, Renon burst into the room. "Jon," he began,"the battle has started sooner then expected. I need you right away!" With that, Renon disappeared again. Jon looked at Mara. "I'm sorry," he said before running off, grabbing his two blades on the way out.
Desu just looked at Devion. He hated to admit that she did have a point.
"No problem." Kensho smiled softly at her before walking into the temple. "Prepare the weapons. Katriana, I will need you to say hidden," he commanded, his voice calm and steady. He, too, grabbed a bow. "If we are attacked, fight back. If not, our main goal is to protect the queen and keep this temple in one place."
