"Don't worry. I won't." Vanessa said. "And I won't need Dream's help to revive me... Because... I wont die." Vanessa said, giggling a little bit.

"I'm totally ready." Vanessa said, looking at Dream. "Just tell me what it is and I'll succeed." Vanessa said, smiling.

"Okay. I want you to take that wooden sword and practice using it... without touching the sword." He smiled. "It's harder to do, but if you can do that you have a huge advantage in battle."

Violet raised a hand as if in a lesson,
"That really depends on who your fighting," she pointed out, trying to be helpful but out of sheer habit she sounded like she was criticising him. Turning to Vanessa she grinned,
"When your good enough i'll give you a test, and i'll fight fair i promise...something i don't often do," she told her.

"hmm... How will I do this?" Vanessa thought. Then, she got an idea. She slowly lifted her hand. A strain of air came from her palm. She directed the strain of wind to the sword. Then, she moved her hand in a loop, making the end of the strain wrap around the handle of the sword. She saw a small rat scuttle along the sand, and she directed the sword to the rat. Suddenly, the sword turned upside down, and flew down to the rat, stabbing it. Rat blood trickled into the sand, making the sand a light red color.

"Not bad. One of the key things when learning abilities is not how to get stronger, but how to use what you already have more efficiently." He solidified the air around the handle of the sword, and pulled up. The sword flew out of the rat. He directed it into the ocean momentarily to clean it, then forced it back to him. He released it when it was next to him, and he caught it. He gave it back to Vanessa. "Anything you want to try?"

"Yeah." Vanessa said, smiling sweetly. Vanessa used a gust of wind to gather up a few flowers near the edge of the dirt path. She took them in her hands, and handed them to Dream. "I know guys don't like flowers, but..." Vanessa went back to her shy self. SHe looked down so no one would see her bright red face. She moved her feet around in the sand.

Violet noticed the girls rosey complextion and jumped to her feet.
"Oh that was priceless! I can use that later," she said happily, leaning forward until she was uncomfortably close to Vanessa she raised her chin with two slender fingers.
"I can make your life hell with that imfomation, so be good and don't become my enemy," she told her softly, still smirking.

Dream laughed. "Thanks, I guess." He looked at the flowers for a moment before placing them in an area in his robe. Then he faced Violet, still smiling. "I can see how you could do it, too, so I believe you... and I honestly think you'll end up doing it no matter how she behaves..." He shrugged. "Well, perhaps we should call it off for now."

"Get away from me, you beast!" Vanessa yelled in Violet's ear. She used a gust of wind to forcefully push Violet away from her. Vanessa backed away from Violet as far as she could, still using air to push against Violet so she couldn't get to Vanessa.

Well, yes," she replied with a smirk, taking a sarcastic bow. When the wind forced her away she began to laugh.
"Oh look who got angry!" she yelled, a sudden hungry gleam appearing in her eyes.
"I haven't fed in such a while, come closer Vanessa...i wont bite, i don't need too," she told her, taking a step forward against the wind. She didn't move forward much but she started trying to move diagonally instead, walking across the wind.

He grinned. "Come on, now. No fighting. Fighting leads to injuries. And injuries usually hurt." He sat down, wondering what would happen. Obviously, if they got too far, he'd step in, but he was curious as to how they would handle it.

"This one won't!" Violet yelled to dream over the wind.
"Come on Vanessa! It dosn't hurt...i think. You'll just feel depressed and sick!" she told her cheerfully. Violet needed to feed and soon, otherwise she'd grow weaker and weaker, and begin to feed of any emotion she could find, meaning if the others were happy, she'd be happy too. Violet shuddered at the thought.
"Vanessa!" she called again, a little hint of desperation in her voice. She flapped her wings a little in agitation, that only sent her back a few steps.

Vanessa put her arm to her side, and ran away. She ran from everything. She ran to the water, dove in, and swam. She tried to get away from Violet. Vanessa ducked underwater. Holding her breath, she used her hand to push the water in front of her. This formed a giant wave. She directed her hand toward Violet, making the wave go in that direction. As the wave came crashing down on Violet, Vanessa emerged from the water. She began breathing heavily.
