He just kind of smirks as she takes his hand and hops up, then walks behind the tree. Enki walks back to their "camp" and sits down on his coat as she walks back around the tree, his eyebrows raising at the sight. "Wow..."

"What. Never see a woman in old clothes before?"
Taking a place next to him on his coat, back to where they were before. Except this time, her hand found his, and she just gently laced her fingers with his. She felt nice around him, but still didn't wanna do anything stupid. He was many moons her elder... And thus she was reduced to a little girl with a crush.

A soft smiles creeps across his face as she interlaces her fingers with his, his hand gently grasping hers. "No, it's just been a long while since I've really interacted with people and even longer then that since I've seen one so stunning before..."

She pushed a wet bang behind her long ear and sighed. "I never thought I'd meet someone like you twice. Small world and all..."

Enki sighs softly as he looks back up to the sky, then toward the beautiful face of Ash again. "I wasn't gone for very long, less then a year. I just had to get away for a while. And trust me, you're a much better person then you're giving yourself credit for and giving some of the women out there too much credit."

"Less than a year huh? I'd go crazy. I was never the one to be able to live without someone to talk to."
Her eyes kept the the ground solemnly.
"There's just no one who'd stay with me. They either die.. Or leave me after swearing they loved me or something. Seems to be a common theme."

"I've almost grown used to it by now. I've spent years without many people around me and spent millions of years before I acquired this human body." Enki then looks over at her, laughing softly at her final sentence and flops back onto the ground. "Oh, trust me, I know exactly what you mean."

"Wow..." She smiled and looked to him as he lay on the ground. "I thought I was old.... Millions?"
'How'd he keep so handsome?' Reaching back, she combed her fingers through his hair gently, letting the blue strands weave their way.
"You'd out live me by a long shot....."

Another smirk and snicker are released from him as he looks up at her with a gentle gaze, enjoying the feeling of her fingers in his hair as the back of his hand lightly caresses her cheek. "You know that day the Earth was completely formed? That was the day my being was created..."

Hugin the Raven But of course, they were indeed taken on a tour of the island. Thus far it was a quaint village, full of all sorts of unseen wonders. But of course, they hadn't seen how they were armed yet. The drone had already done that though. The rest was up to them in finding out how they lived, what their rituals were, et cetera.
The boat that was outside however, began to notice something wrong. Or at least, one man on the boat did.
"Oi... is it just me or is the air getting kinda heavy?"
The captain looked towards his technical officer and said, "Nonsense. We haven't gotten any readings in the past hour now- I doubt the weather is suddenly going to change on us."
Still, even the captain had his... doubts about this place. It was uncharted territory, and one shouldn't take a chance in a place they didn't know about.
"...Keep scanning, just in case. I want to know the instant something happens."
The technical officer nodded and continued searching for anomalies. If that fog bank was coming their way, they'd know it. They just wouldn't know how it got their on its own, without any wind to drive it... As the men in the boat analyzed their instruments, a dark streak suddenly shot past them dozens of feet above, silent as a whisper and barely discernible against the night sky as it headed inland. A minute later, the men in the boat would see the stars that hung above the sea, twinkling peacefully, start winking out as if someone was pulling a blanket over the world. The air barely stirred, but the fog drew closer to shore as if ushered by a strong breeze . . .

He laughs slightly at her response, still smiling as her fingers comb gently through his hair. "I guess that's a common mortal response. I have no clue what it is to die. No true fear of the concept of death. Maybe this body I am currently in can die, but I, my soul and inner self, can never die. It will just reborn into another Gaurdian at Gaeas choosing. It hasn't been all bad. The ocean is a very, very big place... there's a lot to do down there... and there's even more to do up here now that humans have become massively social."

Asherah continued to play with his hair gently.
"But I can't hold a bitter waxed candle... If I die, time goes one. Technically I could live forever, if I take really good care of myself... But that won't happen..." She slid closer to him, and rested her head by his arm.

"I'll get killed one way or another. The Hunters will probably find me at last. Skin me alive, then chip away at my stone corpse for it's properties. Just like all the others."
She leaned over and kissed him on the cheek, then laid her head on his chest, closing her eyes. "But for some reason, I think I may have a nice chance of living with you here... Heh.. Wouldn't.. that be... nice."
Asherah's voice trailed off.
