Takara?...Lost memories....Could it be?....But how can I say anything, when I don't even remember?...

Takara reached out and placed a comforting hand on Tochi's shoulder, being able to sense auras, she could partly 'see' things.

"It seems we both have lost something..."

She reached down to pick her her staff, which had fallen from its position, and replaced it, leaning against the tree. As she bent forward, her necklace managed to slip through her cloak, a red, tear-shaped gem.

Takara looked at him, slightly puzzelment showed in her voice as she sensed him holding her pendant along with his own, they appeared to be of the same shape, though she was unable to see their color.

"I don't know, I just woke up with it in my hand one day. Why?"

"I..."

Takara trailed off, she really didn't know what to say. How could she tell him who she was and yet have no memory of anything that had happened, especially when she could feel the pain in his voice? She spoke, her voice unsure and sad.

"Your pendant and mine, they're tear gems of demons or half-demons. I can't remember where or when I received it, or cried it if that was the case. What will you do if you find her?"

Should I tell him? But what is there to tell? I remember nothing...

She turned her head and looked at the lake, though her eyes could not see they were still able to hold emotion, and they now reflected her sorrow and loneliness for the past few months, not knowing where she belonged, who she was, or if anyone cared. A single tear slipped down her cheek and fell to the ground, turning into another gem.

What could it hurt? He may have already guessed...

With a small sigh, Takara lowered her hood, the sunlight reflecting on her dark hair and warming her pale skin. Her light-grey eyes looked at Tochi's, filled with feelings of being lost and the verge of hope.

"I'm Takara...If I'm the one whom you spoke of, I'm sorry to be cause of your suffering. I hope you can forgive me..."

For a moment, Takara had felt something, something which she couldn't identify. He seemed now more familiar than ever, though she still couldn't clearly remember anything. She smiled.

"It's all right, I wish I could remember what had happened, though there were probably some things I had wanted to forget..."

Lonliness shone in her eyes, for months she had been alone, no one cared and now that she had found someone from her past, she couldn't remember a thing. She inwardly gave a frustrated sigh. Shrugging, she decided to lighten the mood and picked out two smooth stones pressing one of them into Tochi's hands.

"Just because I'm a girl and I'm blind doesn't mean I can't skip rocks properly so don't go easy on me."

She tossed out her stone, making it skip a dozen times. It was nice to have company for a change.

Takara smiled, having heard of the stone's progress.

"A ninja and a worthy opponent at that."

She picked another flat stone and, holding it with her first two fingers, threw it, causing it to spin like a mini discus and it whizzed across the water, making several skips and matching Tochi's distance.

Takara smiled, delighted by the trick. Reaching over for a stone, she slipped and fell into the water, not realizing she had done the exact same thing in her past visit. She stood in the shoulder-deep water and looked at Tochi, splashing him with a wave of water.

"It's a nice day for a swim."
