((Brian))

Hm...a safety hatch. Well. That might work. Change of plans.

"Spaz....New plan. If there's a safety hatch below us like Kali here is indicating, then there'll have to be a draft blowing through any spaces or vents leading to it. So. I need your help. I need you to drop more threads down the shaft here. I don't care how you get them. Just get them. Drop them down, one by one...and carefully, please...the change in equilibrium between the two spaces, if there's an opening, will create a slight breeze...just enough to alter the flight of a small string. If there are any secret...tunnels on these here walls, we'll know sure enough. Kali, that's a kickass idea there. Wish I had seen that movie, too...you and I will watch these strings. Carefully."

If this worked, life would be a hell of a lot easier...

((Ezriel))

The voice got...almost soothing...

"Alright, kid...lay back and relax. This will only feel like a nap to you..."

At this point, a light blue gas hissed slowly out of the small vent, filling the room with its thick color. Every breath tasted sweet and sickening, making his woozy. The elephants danc234ohoid arounBBBZTTTTd the room......and...m4d3 his drowwwwwsszzyzyzyzyzyzzzyy....

....mother...?

((Ellisent))

Heh heh heh...*cough*...*wheeze* Is that enough for you mother?...is this blood good enough? I'll find them. I swear it...you'll...ack, I taste blood...enough of thi-*cough cough*...Cure...th-th...three...

(-100 MP, + 1400 HP)

Ugh. Instantly his wound closed up, and the hole in the back of his head disappeared. The blood around his body didn't however, and neither did the copper stickiness in his mouth...but it was good enough. He slowly swished his damaged jaws around, then spit out the crimson backwash. It stained the once pristine floor; what was the difference, now? He had failed enough as it was. One more spot wouldn't hurt...but penance, that was the key. He had to find those little brats...

Get up, Ellisent. Get...up...

Slowly and painfully, he wrenched his drained body up off the floor. The blow had taken a lot of blood out of him...it would take a little while to fortify his strength. Completely dazed, he picked up his heavy weapon and lumbered around the looped hallway to the elevator...

On the floor...tire tracks...small ones....heh. ******** think they'll...get away...with the White Mage...heh heh heh heh...ahahahahahaha!!! AHAAAAHAHA!!! <******** PAY!!!

Slamming the wall hard with his fist, Ellisent let his knuckles bleed...he had grown used to quick mood changes and confusion by now...that was the nature of his beast...of his...duality in inheritance...

He pressed the "up" button with his bloodied hand, waiting like a good little boy for the elevator to return to his floor...

((Ezriel))

[Sorry, I've been playing with maps!]

He awoke again. Bright light...blinding, even...squinting his way to consciousness, Ezriel knew that he was definitely in a new room, at the very least. He was laying down, too...but that's all he could gather...

(Heh, 'tis quite alright. Thanks for the lesson after school.)

Mother...where...where am... "...where am i..."

Ezriel wanted to get up...but he was either restrained, or just completely out of energy, probably both. He turned from side to side...his mind was still numb from whatever had happened...

hope that old freak didn't touch me while i was vulnerable...old people are creepy...

((Ezriel))

[I love how every post has an innuendo.]

Looking around, vision still blurry, you could tell that the room was white...padded, and had a cell door...the ground you were laying on was soft...and...you were wearing your old hospital garb....

Wait...is this...?

[OMG...btw, I deleted my inbox by accident. Could you just PM me the time/address for tomorrow?]

Yeah. He was in a holding cell. He wasn't exactly sure if it was his old one, but it certainly looked similar...

No memory loss or brain damage had occurred, at least. That was a relief...still...something was up...

Damnit. Why did they need I.D. anyway? It's not like it really worked when it mattered. Perhaps there was a way to trick the scanner. Possibly by bashing it in. No, the elevator would probably shut down. If the elevator shut down, then no one could use it. Then no one could use it. That was genius. No one could use it to get to them until they were ready. That would be nice. Or by bashing it the elevator would simply skip their stop. That would kinda suck. Oh well, risks would be risks. She turned to the card key slot and hit it with everything she had, which was not much to be honest.

((Team 1))

Smash! The plastic extension broke easily, sputtering sparks and intermittent flashes of light, all mixed in with whirring and popping noises. The power in the elevator went out completely, along with it. ********. The plate still shone red, however, except now it was flashing the word "TAMPERED!" over and over. Oh, come on. What harm's a little plastic-bashing gonna do, anyway?

Today was just full of little gifts and difficulties. Oh well, maybe if she broke the glass- well, no, she'd better not. The glass only had the signals, and whether or not she could read it had nothing to do with whether it was sending the distresses to wherever. If she wanted to completely destroy it, she would have to get to the wiring. Which meant electrical things involved. Which meant quite a few nasty things. Ick. This was just no good at all. Was there any way out of the elevator in which she could transport the wheelchair also? She looked around hurriedly.

((Team 1))

No hatches. None. Not even on the floor or walls. The only way out was the door...and well, that was practically sealed shut. There had to be a way through it...Luna? No, that'd kill them all...hmmm...maybe Skip had a plan...or maybe not. Who knew. Everything was moving so fast...

Life completely and utterly sucked when there was no magic to be found. Seriously. She eyed the door angrily, the fury seeping into her veins. Destruction was a voice calling to her. How she wanted to reduce it to nothing! She needed some control, but even as she looked at her battered hands she could not feel the pain. The rage was blocking it out. What was to be done? Even as she glared at the problem she knew that she could not pry it open with her bare hands. But she was desperate enough to try. She was all kinds of desperate these days.

Walking all two steps to the door she put her hands in the microscopic crevaces and began to pull. How ever hard she could manage with such a small space. Technology was beginning to be a personal enemy of hers.

"Skip, do you mind helping? I mean, we are kinda stuck in an elevator with a lady in a wheelchair and our only means of escape is through this door. No open door equals no more Emerald. Got it?" The frustration was apparent the gritted teeth and wild eyes.

((Sorry for the absence yesterday, but my 8-year old computer finally died. I'm on my new one now))

"Thread?" Spaz asked, scratching his head. "Guitars have strings, not threads!" Raising his left hand to about shoulder height, Spaz hunched over and started dramatically strumming an invisible air guitar.

"DUN DUN DUN... DUN DUN DA-DUN!!" He intoned, mimicing the ripping bass chords of that ever-loving classic, Smoke on the Water.
