Maria is nice but is just lost
Keiji and Maria were far far away both with a long range binoculars. Keiji read their lips.
"Seems like Kai is going all out today." Keiji said.
"Kai's just misunderstood and Diana is over reacting and over protecting. Kai is not used to it yet." Maria defended him.
"You are obsessed though Maria seems like your having some hesitation in you. Are you serious about your job?" Keiji said.
Maria became nervous . She did have some doubts. Then remembered something and replied to Keiji,"Of course I would have hesitations remember that my conditions were that no life would get involve even if Kai is involved."
"Then what are we doing now?"Keiji said questioning her actions.
"I just want one battle. After that I am all yours."Maria said with a tone of desperation.
"Then you will be one of my team mate at the tournament."He asked.
"Yes"she said having no other choice. It was buy time so they might have the chance to win.
"By the way Maria good catch He looks delicious." He said looking at Kai.
The gay stuff is just for fun.

Diana was still busy looking until she heard voices. Having stealth and killing abilities really helps you know? Yes, it was another ability. Ability to have herself get hidden completely from every single being (yes even to sacred-soul bearers too like Maria and Keiji). She had the ability to enhance her senses so her hearing gradually increased and managed to hide herself completely from the world. Hearing their conversation, she frowned.
"Now, i dont know which side she is on. But it doesnt matter since i still have the advantage compared to their abilities". She decided to let it pass and only intervene if something happened to the twins. Yes, she still cant kill Kai since Miki will get sad if she did. Bummer...

Keiji yawned and commented,"Don't they have to be asleep. It's almost mid night."
Keiji didn't noticed it, but Maria felt somehow she was seen. She looked at them, though it was almost impossible since they were so far away that they were a building and forest away.
It was Diana Maria saw her expression.
"Diana Marie Murphy what are you?" She said.
She the grinned and said, "Well as the story of yin yang dictates there is always balance or else we will be in chaos."
She looked away from the binoculars looking still at where they were.
Is she too much convenient that she has that?

You know those scenes on television when a random guy walks down some path - its either a street or in a park - and suddenly clutches his chest, stumbles, and more often than not falls over?
Kai had often wondered if that was really what happened when you had a heart attack, or some other 'illness' that struck without warning. TV was, for the most part, accurate, but there were other details that could have been copied from another television show that would later on turn out to have been fabricated.
Well, he didn't wonder any more, because that was precisely what happened.
A sudden constriction in his chest, and he couldn't breathe. Crimson eyes widening as he stumbled forward, then caught himself before he went down. One hand on his bent, trembling knees; another to his chest. He glanced up, panting only slightly.
Damn that Murphy.
He saw that she was getting up, leaving Miki alone on the bench.
It was now or never.
Recovering quickly, he approached the bench and sat down next to his twin. Amida, how do I start? he wondered, even as he reached out and gathered the younger girl close to him in a hug.
"Mit-chan..." he mumbled into the silk of her hair. "Mou nakanaide kudasai. I was... I don't know. I'll admit, I'm not doing my best in being your big brother, but... I want you to know, you're still my sister, despite our... separation." Good lord, he was hesitating more and more now!
"I don't blame you, Mit-chan; not one bit. And I can't abandon you; that would be breaking my promise to Otousan and Okaasan... and you know I hate breaking promises..."
Here he pulled back a little and took out a handkerchief from his trouser pocket, which he used to wipe away the few tears he could see trailing down his twin's cheeks. Aw, hell...
"Listen," he went on, brushing a stray strand of Miki's hair from out of her face, "we can go back to the apartment later; for now, I don't suppose dinner, or something of a night out would hurt... what's your fancy?" the slate-haired added, using a British term for 'preference' - it was equivalent to asking someone where they wanted to go on an outing.
Gods, but this was hard. And Murphy's message earlier... it had well and truly stung. He couldn't remember all of it, but the part that got him most was when she said that no one had the right to protect Miki but her. It was as though... well, she was implying that Kai was no longer fit to be Miki's brother.
And that hurt.
Admittedly, he wasn't really doing well in the 'older sibling' department, but he was trying - for cripes' sake, he hadn't seen her for a hell of a long time, and was now at a loss for how to act towards her. All he had to go on were memories of childhood, and... people's personalities could change over time. He knew he had; had Miki?

Miki's eyes were full of shock. Never in her whole life, well..when they were together...that her brother will be this..caring. He was always quiet, brooding, always teasing her sometimes when she makes a mistake. But he never said this much filled with so much care in his words. Her eyes started to wet his shirt while he was still speaking.
After that, he gently wiped her tears away. Can you believe it? He did it GENTLY! But somehow, Miki was feeling shocked, but she cant explain the happiness she felt. She always thought she was inferior to him, since he was the older twin. But his words...it felt that he managed to read her problems and reassured her, she will always be his little sister, no matter what.
Miki didnt notice it but the painful memories were slowly starting to diminish from her mind. Everything was replaced with thoughts of her brother and nothing else. Tears started to fall again but this time, she was smiling...A REAL SMILE...

Diana was smiling as she silently read both the sibling's thoughts."Thanks...Kai.., you really deserve to protect her now." She focused her energy at Kai again, her eyes returning back to their blood red color.

Thank you...you probably dont know how much this means to her. I can see the painful memories she had kept inside are now going away..replaced with thoughts of you. You really know how to make her smile you know Hiwatari? Dont get me wrong but, i can too sometimes. but not this kind of smile. Treasure her Kai, she still is the nice and sweet girl you know. Never she had once felt hatred for you even if you never did look for her. You're a very lucky guy to have a sister as understanding as her. Dont worry about her changing, she will never change for you. She loves you..very much..

Miki still cant stop smiling, and swipe the tear on her eye. Taking her brother's left hand on her right, she replied "I always seem to remember how you always tease me about whenever i cry like this but..i guess you dont remember how much i love pasta dont you?" she chuckled softly, remembering how much pasta she used to eat in one meal.
I CANT HELP BUT CRY OVER THIS!

Watching them like before having googely eyes that almost shed a tear this time she was showing it and Keiji felt pathetic watching her and the twins.
She then became quiet and sighned, 'I wish I was Miki.'
I am also envious.

Of course Kai remembered Miki and her Italian food. It was hard not to, considering he'd teased her before for eating too much and sometime ruining her appetite.
He shook his head, a small grin on his face, and then stood up, pulling Miki to her feet as well.
"I can take a hint..." he returned, not bothering to take back his handkerchief. "Come on, there's a small Italian resto near here; we can go there so you can satisfy your pasta craving..."
The slate-haired teen glanced over his shoulder, searching for Diana. She must have been close by, seeing as she'd sent him a telepathic message. Having not spotted the dark-haired girl, he decided to reply to her through telepathy.
//That's news to me, Murphy...// Just the slightest hint of sarcasm. He knew, just from looking at her from this close up, that Miki was still... well, Miki was still Miki.
As for how he was 'speaking' to Diana, now, he couldn't be... nice all the time, could he? //In any case, you're welcome to join us if you so wish...//

Diana smirked and simply shook her head. "that punk.." she smirked. "Maybe he isnt such a bad guy afterall". she focused her energy again

Dont worry about me, i will just watch and keep you informed if something wrong is coming your way. Miki just wants you to be with her right now. And by the way, if you werent related, you two will really look like a couple dating each other. just kidding dont get mad, mr. high-and-mighty. I will just go watch.

Miki just kept walking by her brother and looked down as she noticed she holding onto his hand. She smiled to herself and forgot everything and went to enjoy her time with her big brother. "I love you big brother..." she silently thought as she was silently reminiscing her childhood memories with her twin

Kai nearly blanched at Diana's "dating couple" comment, but held himself in check.
//Whatever floats your boat, Murphy...//
He led Miki down the path, turned a corner... and they were out of the park.
One glance was all it took for Kai to know that they needed to make a right turn at the junction, and he gently tugged on Miki's arm, trying to show her the way without saying much. The slate-haired teen felt that he'd talked enough for one day - hell, he'd probably said as much in one day as he'd normally say in one week!
Pretty soon, they arrived at the resto he'd referred to, and the crimson-eyed teen steered his younger sister inside.

"Looks like they'll not be home for a while. Let's go with our preparations." Maria said.
Keiji nodded in acknowledgment.
Arriving they looked around and the two rooms under Hiwatari.
"Hey Maria Kai seems over confident that he can protect his sister. That's a waste of money. Your paid by the day right?" Keiji asked.
"Well even if he let me protect her can I protect her from myself. Besides I got paid in advance. Well yeah he will regret it a bit."Maria answered.
They formulated plans depending on the situation. All else they needed was to wait for them to sleep.
Their spying and trying to avoid detection so I don't think they would be seen.

Miki was amazed by the interior of the room. It really looked like they were in Italy. The walls were covered with Italian newpapers and pictures of it's landscape. The table cloths were a mix of checked blue, red and green. Smiling to herself, she clutched to her brother's hand tightly as he lead her inside.

Diana was on a rooftop of a building, watching the city as it went through it's business. She loved to view places from afar. It gave her a soothing feeling inside. She dug inside her pocket and pulled out a black beyblade. She winced gently at the memory of how she had her blade.
FLASHBACK
A dark-haired girl was silently walking through a dark corridor, only the light of torches hanging giving her direction to follow. Her black hair was swaying through the cold night breeze as she continue to walk each step. Her attire, consisting of a long black coat and black shirt, black sneakers and black pants were almost blending into the darkness. Only her gloves, which were in a blood red color, was the only thing different. Sharp red eyes formed a frown when she finally reached her destination.
Opening a door, she stepped inside and found herself face to face with a man who was dressed in green, a mask covering his eyes. He smiled evilly and spoke in an oily voice "Welcome Diana, i'm happy you have come this far. As i expect from Tchort group. I will now give you, your assignment". He took out a photo of a bluenette girl with crimson eyes. She just gaze blankly and faced him again. "Now, now I am not telling you to kill her, she needs protection you see. She is a very valuable asset to the BIOVOLT corp. and we need her to be protected at all costs."
Boris continued to explain as she just let the information sink inside her "You see, we create modified bitbeasts and train bladers to perfect soldiers and pick a handful so they can learn to harness these modified beyblades. But we cant be able to modify it perfectly without a sacred bitbeast. This is where she comes in. She has the unique capability of being able to transfer the DNA of an animal and it's spirit inside bitchips and plus, she doesnt have to pay a price in order to create such marvelous creatures." He took out a beyblade with a picture of a wolf with crystals on it's forehead.
"This was one of her recent creations, his name is Wolborg and it has the element of Ice, dont you think she has such artistic talent when it comes to this?" He smiled evilly and continue to gaze upon the marvel of the blade while Diana continue to stare. But inside she was almost throwing up. Never in her life that a person can be so cruel. She may be an assasin but she only take the lives of the people who arent worth having their lives. She still hold that principle close to heart. Boris put the blade back and rested his chin on his hands "Well, since you need to have an additional weapon, i suppose we could give you one of her creations as well. No need to thank me for it, think of it as a token of appriceation for accepting this job".
He took out a beyblade and it was black with a blood red bitchip. The picture inside was that of a black shadow with blood-drenched wings. Two sycthes were found on the back of the entity, forming an "X". She almost shivered at the horrifying image. Boris smirked and gave it to her "His name is Akurei, and i am sure you will love to get to know him". Without another word, she went out of the room, silent as ever. Glancing upon the black beyblade, she put inside her coat pocket and continued to walk through the darkness of the hall.
END FLASHBACK
Well, i did a little research about this and Akurei in japanese means: Aku - Evil and Rei - Spirit. And also, the black shadow kinda reminds me of the Grim Reaper who is the messenger of death. The Blood-drenched wings symbolize in spiritual meaning "To destroy what is holy". and the two scythes forming an "X" in Latin text meant "souls who died in battle" and Scythe is a symbol of death too. and by the way, Tchort in Russian meant Satan or Black God. i hope this is ok ^^

Frankly, Kai was glad he'd been wandering around the other day; that was how he'd come across this little resto - La Picco Italia, he thought it was called. He had something of a photographic memory, hence the relative ease in finding it again, even though he hadn't come from the park when he'd first encountered this particular eatery.
It was worth it, really, to see Miki smiling again. He realized only now how much he'd missed her ready, open little grin.
He shook his head slightly, then went over to an out-of-the-way table and pulled out a seat for his twin. It was yet another thing he'd done for her when they were kids; no matter what restaurant they ate at - before they were more or less permanently separated - Kai always pulled Miki's chair out to help her sit down more easily.
It was something he never forgot.
The slate-haired teen shook his head again. There would be time to reminisce later, he supposed; now... well, it wasn't time yet to indulge in that little activity.

Miki smiled softly and sat down. She remembered this kind of action her brother used to do. When they were kids, he always helps her sit down. even if they were only around 2 and a half feet high that time. Hey, they were still little kids so obviously the chair was little too big that time. But still, she's happy all the same.
i suppose...goddess..i dont know what you are planning but i cant help but get worried that Maria-san might do something to the twins..more importantly Miki actually..

Hmm... in answer to your question, we have three new OC characters. The first two are Miki Hiwatari and Diana Murphy, both played by Kana-chan, and the third one is Keiji, goddessanime's other OC character.
So far, my OC, Kei, has had a run-in with Diana and has experienced firsthand her life-threatening ability. Maria apparently knows Keiji and they've met up, and are currently at the apartment complex where Kai is staying. These two seem to have a secret agenda that will affect the sacred soul-bearers and, quite possibly, the bit beasts and their masters as well.
Meanwhile, Kai has been reunited with his younger twin sister (Miki). After a rocky first few minutes where details on Miki and Kai's separation as children and subsequent happenings, ending with the younger girl feeling a bit... dejected due to a not-so-smart move on Kai's part, the twins are now in an Italian cafe, due to Miki's apparent hankering for Italian food. Someone let me know if I've left anything *important* out.))
