"Owww.... that hurt..." Tobi commented, in response to Fisshu's success in slapping his back. He shook Onyx's hand. "A pleasure." Then, he turned to Pez. "Look, I really don't think you want my dad trailing you. Unlike me, he's rather... oh, how do I put it... well muscled? I don't think that little girls should even try to deal with him - when he's determined, nothing gets in his way. Not boulders, fire, ice, mind control - nothing."

"Little?" Brownie asked quietly, a rage quietly beginning to build, flames clearly forming in her amber eyes. "I am NOT little, you got that? NOT LITTLE!"

"If he hired what now?" Tobi asked, actually curious. "You know, the other hunters will likely come help him, and there are a lot of them. That's why there actually were food tents down at the bottom of the mountain - because they'll be able to make a lot of money from hungry hunters. Oh, and did I mention that they all, mostly, have their own unique talents in not only treasure hunting but also fighting?"

This is why I pretty much wanted to come alone, regardless of the water being useful to cool off the lava, Ruby thought quietly, then, unknowingly, said aloud, "I am uniquely short among them, and have gotten good at escaping them."

"So you don't go after treasures that they've already gotten?" Tobi wondered.

"Of course not. It's dishonorable!" Ruby replied.

"And so the squire in you picks up again. You chivalrous squire you," Brownie murmured.

((If we end up having a fight scene, it would be nice if other people would be willing to play some of the treasure hunters. I can only deal with so many characters, you know.))

((Well... We're kinda going to NEED a fight scene... So... Yeah...
Oooh! I could play some! Maybe 2-4 named ones, and about 50 unnamed ones XD))

"We figured that out about the food stands already... Or at least, I did," Kira said quietly, not expecting to be replied to.

((I was basically saying that I can't play them all myself is all. There will need to be a lot of them...))

"How is 'Pez' right?" Tobi asked, fairly confused. "This 'Pez' never introduced herself. Calling each other by name when clearly I don't know who you're talking about can't possibly be fair."

"Kira, we know you figured it out," Brownie said to her quietly, knowing Tobi wouldn't hear, "but clearly not everyone did."

Ruby sighed. "You're still not going to get this thing from me, though," she explained to Tobi. "Once I have my treasure, I go home. If someone else has it, I see if they're the kind of hunter who wants to sell it, and if so I buy it. But I don't sell my collection. And I especially don't intend to sell this ruby - it belongs inside of a necklace that I found at the bottom of the mountain." She unclasped the necklace from around her neck, still holding the ruby in the other hand. There was an empty slot on the sword-like base for a stone of exactly the size of the one she had found.

Tobi shook his head. "That still won't stop the hunters from coming, you know."

"It would be too tiring, which is the same reason that they couldn't bring us here. There's still a chance that this person would have forces all over the world, and be able to track us wherever we go. Unlikely, but possible" Kiichigo replied quietly to Sakura.

Alex glared at Ruby with a look that said 'you realise that you had me thinking that this was completely pointless, and now you tell me that this is the stone?' Obviously, she was annoyed.

Sapphire looked at the stone and quickly gave Ruby a quizzical look. Hadn't she told Sapphire that this was not a mission to find a stone, just some treasure? That was confusing. Horu-Chan was waking up and Sapphire couldn't let Tobi see a little fairy; he'd probably think we were even more crazy. So she closed her hands and cupped them together, still allowing Horu-Chan to sleep unseen.

Ruby glared right back at Alex, giving her a look that plainly stated 'what do you mean by stone? It is part of a treasure I found years ago and wanted to piece back to be the original. I prefer my treasures to be in one piece, thank you very much'.

"Oh you're Pez! I must apologize, but I don't think you had introduced yourself before," Tobi stated, in a manner similar to a certain freak at school (I don't feel like getting into that... umm, anyway...). Also, he dumped out the water bottle he had with him over the plant. Whether or not the fire actually went out, though, is a story for another day...
