"Oh!" Relm giggled, had a thought, then giggled again. "Oh! Whipped cream shouldn't go to waste." Relm leaned over and lightly kissed his ear & whispered. "So if I want you to lick me, I should just get whipped cream on me?" She blushed and lowered her eyes before adding. "Does it work the other way too?"

Keme blushed hard when she whispered that to him, and lucky or unlucky for him, he was putting a piece of his desert into his mouth and the cold ice cream hit the wrong spot. He winced and dropped his fork, holding his forehead as he got hit by the ever dreaded brain freeze.

Okay, if Relm was not A: still drunk and B: so concerned for Keme, she would have really started to wonder what was wrong that everytime she asked the really interesting questions there was always something to impeed their answers.
But she was so she did not.

Keme rubbed at his forehead wearily. He felt really tired and worn out, like his energy was drained. "Don't worry Relm, it was just brain freeze is all, it's going away." he said softly.

Putting her hand to his forehead in concern Relm made a soft comforting sound. "Are you sure? You look tired."
Relm wanted to take Keme into her arms and cuddle him but she still held her cone and she was not even halfway finished. "We could probably finish these on the way home if you want. If Aura wouldn't mind."

Keme nodded his head as he rubbed at his eyes, "I am actually feeling tired. And Aura wouldn't mind if we finished our treats as she took us back to our homes." he said. He put the top on his half eaten ice cream pizza and he knew he would have to fight Naruto over it.

Leaning over, she tenderly kissed his cheek. Then Relm lightly hopped off her stool and slipped her hand within Keme's. "C'mon then, Hummer." There was so much love and tenderness coming from her even Relm noticed it in her state & smiled sheepishly. "Let's get that handsome bod of yours home & to bed."

He smiled lovingly at her as he took her hand and they made their way out of the shop. He blushed brightly and chuckled nervously, "Well, Aura is going to take you home first." he commented.

She made a mew of disappointment then nodded. This was a date... going home together after a date was usually frowned upon. Not that she particularly cared for such silly things, but she would not push it.
Still, that did not mean she had to say nothing. "If that's what you want, Hummer." Sweet smile. Lick the custard.

Normally he would have came back with an answer to that, but he was too tired to make a good reply. Once they were outside, he put his fingers to his lips and let out a low pitched whistle. A minute went by and soon a smooth screech was heard and soon Aura came flying toward the two of them and landed in front of them, ignoring any stares she got.

Relm grinned that their ride created so much attention. Of course, it ruined any covert chances of watching people be themselves... but it sure was fun. She licked at her custard-cone thoughtfully, trying to think of a way to bring the conclusion of their date back up to the rest of it. Having it end on Keme getting a cold headache and suddenly being so tired seemed such a downer. At the same time, she did not want to push him into something he did not have the energy for. Well, part of her did not. The part of her that liked to plan and otherwise direct others into the roles she chose was more than willing to try anything. But then it would be.
She took a bite of her cone. It would not be the same if she tricked or otherwise coerced Keme into anything, especially tonight. She licked at a trail of custard that slipped over her lip. He'd just been so cute... what happened? Was it something I did? But that thought did not mech well with what remained of the alcohol in her system so it did not stay long. It couldn't be the alcohol... could it? Relm knew a lot about the many different effects alcohol could have, but that did not mean she knew how Keme handled it. He had seemed fine earlier...
"Hey, Aura. Thanks for coming back for us."

Keme yawned a bit as Aura made a few clicking and cooing noises in response to Relm's thanks. He helped Relm up onto the griffin when she kneeled down and he hopped up behind her, bracing himself as Aura started off to make her way out of the city, and more then likely she would fly the rest of the way to Trelweny's home so he could drop Relm off. But he was slowly going to sleep, his head nodding.

She gave a soft smile as she was lifted onto the Gryffon's back, quietly returning to her cone as Keme joined her. Relm felt his head nodding a against her and watched from the corner of her eyes with concern. And planning. She hurried to finish her cone so that it would be gone by the time they reached the edge of the city.
Relm finished a block or two early and wiped the fingers of her gloves clean on a napkin. When she could see the open area beyond the city but before they were fully out the pictomancer drew in a deep breath, turned, cradled Keme's head in her hands, and kissed him deeply.

Keme was snapped awake when Relm suddenly kissed him and he kissed her back just as deeply, putting his hands on her shoulders. He purred as he pulled back, smiling lightly, "What was that for?" he asked.
