Ryusei walked into the sun dorm from the headmaster's office. Apparently he would be sharing his room anymore. "Izaku Ishizen Tomihite, huh?" He mumbled putting a hand on his door. He opened it to see a boy with headphones unpacking his things.
'This is an interference in my plans...' Ryusei thought as he entered the room. "So...You will be my new roomate. I'm Ryusei Cullen..."

Hikari walked angrily toward headmaster Cross's office. Though Izaku and I didn't get well at all at the beginning, I think it's fine now She was angry for the treatment he had given her. I should have stayed in Italy, she thought. I didn't have friends, but at least there were gentlemen!
"Headmaster! I can't take it anymore!" Hikari said, entering his office.
"Wait, wait, Hikari! What are you talking about?" Headmaster had met her when both her parents were still alive, about five years ago. At that time, she usually traveled with her father to Japan.
"I don't like the day class students."
"But, why do you say that?"
"Because Izaku is mean!" Hikari complained. Headmaster Cross laughed.
"There are many more students in the day class, Hikari. Izaku might not be the best person when speaking to girls, but he isn't mean as you're saying he is." When he saw Hikari frown, he continued. "Besides...you and him have a thing in common."
This caught Hikari's attention. "And, what is that?" she asked.
"You both like music. You want to be a singer, right?"
Hikari blushed and turned her face away. "I-I thought only my parents had known that!"
Headmaster Cross put a hand on her shoulder. "But your parents are not here anymore. The closest thing to a family you have now is me, and whatever friend you make." When Hikari stayed quiet, he decided to say something else. "But, nothing good will come out with that attitude, so I suggest that you try and meet some more people before saying who you don't like."
"OK..." Hikari stood up from her chair. "I guess I'll get ready for my first day of classes." She then walked out. Thankyou... she thought, and then ran to her room to get ready.
((Wow o_O ...this is one of my longest posts ever! XD))

Izaku was unpacking his things, which are mostly CDs and music videos, when he heard the annoyance voice of Ryusei. "Yea, I'm your new roomate, alright. You got a problem with that?" Izaku was having his back on Ryusei. "I don't think I should introduce myself cause I heard you said my name on the other side of the door. Am I right Cullen?" Izaku turns to face Ryusei with a teasing smile. "It is day time but I think I'm going to rest. Good day!" Izaku said moving his luggage aside and jumb on his new bed. He was not actually sleeping but instead he listens to some music.

"Takuma, where did you see the intruder?" Tsuki said while running and tracking down the intruder that has almost killed Takuma and now after the Night Class.
"I didn't actually see him! All I know is the window near where I almost been kill was wide open when I turned around!" Takuma was looking around while running.
Just a glance, Tsuki saw a black dressed man jumbing from the tree. "Takuma! I found him! He is heading toward....Ryusei and Izaku's dorm? Why the Day Class? Didn't you said he was after the Night Class?"
"I was infering. Let's go! Everybody's life are at risked!" Takuma and Tsuki then head to Ryusei and Izaku's dorm room.

"Insulent little kid..." Ryusei said while smiling. He looked out the window and saw a glimpse of a black figure pass by, then Tsuki and Takuma. Ryusei looked at Izaku who was asleep on his bed with the volume turned up. 'Good...Its better if he sleeps...' Ryusei thought 'He doesn't need to be exposed...' Ryusei went inside his closet and hit the back wall to reveal a large amount of weaponry, perfect for hunting. In the middle was a sleek, black & red gun, he put that in his jacket and took out a dager which he also put in his coat. He closed up the wall and stood in the middle of the room....
"You're here..." He said and opened his golden eyes and aimed a gun at the black figure behind him.

Hikari woke up startled when she heard a noise coming from the room next to hers. It must have been someone going in or out of his dorm, she thought. But I must make sure... Hikari stood up from her bed and put an ear to the floor. I don't think I've heard these footsteps...
When she lived with her father, Hikari had been constantly praised for being able to recognize even a slight difference in sounds. She was able to recognize footsteps from several people and know when they were approaching. This had been very useful through her life. And now, it might be one of those occasions, she thought.
She took her daishō from its stand. (*) I'd been hoping for so long that I could use them... She stood beside her dorm's door, ready to go out and attack. As soon as I sense danger...
*Daishō: Japanese term referring to the traditional weapons of the samurai. The daishō is composed of the katana and the wakizashi.

Izaku, who wasn't actually sleeping, can hear Ryusei pounding sounds even if he is listening to the CD. Izaku bends down and reached for a katana he hid under his bed. He stood up and jumped to where Ryusei and the black figure was standing. "Hey, Cullen, isn't it a little too dangerous to use a dagger and guns to deal with this problem?" Izaku seems calm as usual. He used the tip of his katana and flip the gun on his hand. Izaku ran behind Ryusei and took his jacket which contains a dagger in his coat. The black figure run out the door but Izaku shoot the door with the gun that he took from Ryusei Cullen forcing it to closed. "You are not going anywhere until Guardian Tsuki and Night Student Takuma Ichijou get here. Oh and Cullen, next time if you tried to get a weapon in that secret back closet of yours be sure to close it. Someone might find out you know," Izaku shoots the closet door and it closed. He then points the gun at the black figure. "Stay here until they come, vampire," Izaku's calmness was unsual. But what is with the vampire thing?

Tsuki stood watching behind the currents at Izaku moves. From where he flips the gun and shoot the door. Those moves does not belongs to a normal human. Those moves belongs to a specially trained guardian. Even Zero can't do those moves. "Izaku..."
Takuma watches Izaku with shocking eyes. "Tsuki who is he?" He askes turning to Tsuki.
"He is an orphan taking in by Headmaster just like me. His name is Izaku Ishizen Tomihite..." Tsuki said.

"Hmm.... pretty good for a human... And actually those weapons you so carelessly took from me are bewitched, specially for vampires unable to handle in human hands. In a few seconds you should feel a burning sensation so I'd let them go..." Ryusei told Izaku. He reached into his jacket and pulled out a long, sleek silver chian and used it to tie the black figure down. He held it by the neck and suddenly a black aura surrounded them. "Don't force me to suck out all your life force..." Ryusei's grip tightened arround his neck "Who sent you!" He pointed another gun he had in his jacket and said "You, dont come any colser unless you want me to suck out your life too..." He was pointing it at Izaku, Tsuki, and Takuma. "Oh and that other new girl...the one outside our door, Hikari, you might wanna get her away safely too..."

Hikari had heard everything the intruder had said. "No...questo non può accadere..." **she whispered to herself. She had been taught Italian before Japanese, after all, and sometimes it came out when she talked to herself. She sat down on the floor, leaning on a wall. It's been so long since I last did this... Hikari closed her eyes and concentrated on getting every thought out of her mind.
*Flashback*
Matsuo Kobaiashi stood in front of her daughter, trying to make her accept what was happening.
"Mother couldn't have been killed," a Hikari about ten years old said.
"Sorry little one...but she was..." her father replied.
"She may be dead now" here Hikari made a short pause, "but she may not have been killed! Who would ever want to do that?"
Matsuo knew the answer. He, a pureblood vampire, had been hiding for years to protect his family from vampire hunters. But they had been tracked down, and Hikari's mother had been assasinated as a warning to Matsuo of the danger that was approaching. He could not let the same thing happen to his daughter.
"Hikari...you will learn how to fight."
"Huh?!"
"Not exactly fight, but rather...self protection."
"Oh...I guess I could..."
For about three years, Hikari was taught the use of every weapon you could think of. Then, when she finished, her father told her something new, and certainly unknown to her.
"You will learn how to get youself in a trance." Matsuo explained.
"But how will that be of any good to me, if..." Hikari was interrupted by her father.
"You must close your eyes and free your mind of any thought." Hikari did as she was told. "Close your mind...nothing around you is there anymore..."
Though her father continued speaking, Hikari couldn't hear him anymore. The world around her was different-it was pure white. She found out she could hear the dreams of people she knew.
"And now, Hikari, wake up." Hikari felt as if she had fallen into an abyss, and was suddenly beside her father again. She felt her heart beating faster, and was really tired.
"What..." she took a deep breath. "What was that?"
"In the state you were in, your mind doesn't exist in this world. Though you are here physically, your mind is far away. If you were to be hurt when you were in this state, nothing would happen, for your mind wouldn't register the pain."
"Oh...and..." Hikari was interrupted by her father again.
"You could hear the thoughts and dreams of people. That is an important characteristic of this, for you could be in one place and contact with another person who is far away."
"Oh..."
*End of flashback*
Hikari was now in the white universe of her mind. She tried as hard as she could to find a mind she could contact with, someone who could help them...Aya... In her mind, Hikari had felt a mind stronger than the rest, though she couldn't figure out why, and tried to contact it. Aya...please help us...
**Translation: "No...this cannot be happening..."
