Well, it's in Japanese (obviously) and they play it on the Oldies station sometimes because it was big in America back then... It's a really good song -- one of my favorites, actually! ^-^

I have a friend (actually, more than one) who is a member of the church and loves Metal music. He knows all about each type (it seems there are about , who knew?) but doesn't like Death, Black or Grindcore. He prefers Power, Progressive and Symphonic/Operatic. ((read it off of his website where he goes into detail about each)). I listen to a little Metal, but only when I'm offered. I admit the guitar riffs and other crazy stuff can be cool, but after a while, I'm done with it. I've listened to some of an old Metallica cd once, but I stopped short because some of the songs sounded too similar.

I have the same problem(?) with popular punk rock and alternative music today. Many bands sound the same as others, even if the singer's voice is a little different (or not). It's not creative music if I can almost exactly predict what the next chord is or where there might be a key change. There are some songs that I do like, but I disregard many on the fact that I can't find some creativity in it.
