@Koosei: Oh no, I know what kind of work librarians do. I used to TA at the school library. Okay, I know it's not on as grand a scale, but it's tough work. x_x
school librarian. fun. I've thought of going into a school for the summer holidays, but I eventually want to go into archives and work with the OLD (almost ancient) materials.

My mom is a librarian and guess what, she had to go through the whole interviewing thing and had quite a bit of competition. So no, being a librarian will require college. University, actually. my program (for Library Technicians) is the college-level one

I think the Masters degree is in business though.

I think the Masters degree is in business though. ah. well, technically, Library Technician falls under the School of Business (in my college, at least), so she probably did it as a minor and took something else as a major. Or something like that. all that minor/major stuff is confusing.

yeah. I did a runaround for my first term and went to a special library, and I was able to TOUCH and flip through the pages of a book that was just under 200 years old. *sighs* heart heart heart
