crying crying crying Noooo! James Doohan!! He died yesterday... He was a master of dialects, and a very talented actor... Star Trek fans everywhere will always remember him, because Star Trek just wouldn't have been the same without "Scotty." cry

Wow, you have had an uber crappy week. You sound like you need ice cream... or cookie dough (that works well too).

Yeah, I know the feeling. I just found out today that I'll be stuck in an 8am class with a member of my fan club (yes, I have what I call my very own fan club, it's a group of 6 guys that all like me and even when you tell them you aren't interested and you don't want a relationship or anything with anyone for like, the next year or more, they don't stop following you. Like the fan boys at an anime convention... They never give you a moment's peace). eek not only will tuesday and thursday mornings be shared with him, but i'll also be in a class with the head of the Republican student group at my school. From what I hear she's very opinionated and I know she hates one of my friends immensely (I'm friends with the people who petition crap. the student government hates them, and since I hang out with them, they hate me too.) Ah well, it ought to keep class pretty interesting. thank god I have ballet to look forward to!

Ah well, it ought to keep class pretty interesting. thank god I have ballet to look forward to! Holy crap!! Your "fan club" sounds like the group of stalkers I had in Highschool. I even had one who found out my address and started sending crap to my house o.o. Those guys are creepy!! My schedule this semester looks pretty easy, though. No incredibly early classes, and, since I'm too shy to talk to any of my fellow students (except Malfoy...but I've known her since we were 3. ^_^; ) and I have a certain talent for going completely unnoticed in a crowd of 3 or more, I don't have the problem of being stuck in classes with people who hate me because nobody even knows my name. sweatdrop So...all I really have to worry about is writing assignments, which I lothe more than practically anything. But, I have Tae Kwon Do to look forward to! I should be getting my Green belt by mid-term! xd

Green belt?! Go you! That's pimp. I never got to take a Karate class of any sort. I always wanted to though. I'm 5 foot and a half inch tall, it'd be kind of a good idea for me to learn some ways to defend myself.
So you and Malfoy have known each other for that long? Wow. eek That's pretty cool. Most of my friendships date back to freshman year of high school. We moved from Massachusetts to Texas, so over the years I lost contact with my childhood buddies.

Well, Malfoy and I are actually ex-step-sisters. Her dad was married to my mom for a long time before they split-up when we were in 4th grade. But all of our parents stayed in the same city and everything, so we were always in school together and all that. We're even going to college in the same town we grew up in...so...you can probably imagine that after 21 years, this town is getting pretty frackin' boring... sweatdrop

Yep, I can certainly understand that. Boyd is a stoplight and that's about it. We have a Family Dollar store, a Dollar General, a gas station and an IGA (grocery store). I went to school in a different town that's considerably bigger (our house was right on the line. Yay!), but was still a small hick town. *shudders* I was elated to move, even though I'm only 45 minutes away. The city is quite a different place from that hick town. eek For the most part, the people are actually nicer. Plus, my little city is right between two big cities and has lots of murders and robberies. Makes it much more interesting than hearing tale of people tipping cows or getting busted for making meth in their house.
Example: Springtown: Someone hit a cow and left it dead on the side of the road (did you know you can go to jail for hitting a cow?). someone came along and put a big sign over the dead cow that said "EAT MORE CHICKEN!" (That is news where I'm from) City I Live in Now: Pistol Mikes (the gun shop less than a mile down the street from my house, it is litterally on my street), was robbed earlier this summer. About three weeks ago, guns were stolen from two places in Dallas. (Either someone's planning something interesting or they're making a pretty penny).
And I have no idea why I'm rambling. Maybe I do need a nap...

Wow...that's a hell of a big step...the place I live is sort-of in between. It's just a regular college town. Lots of loud drunk students. stare
...speaking of students...Classes start again on monday...my very last summer is over! I'm so depressed. gonk

So you're a senior? That bites. Soon enough you'll be stuck in the real world. *shudders* it's a scary place. I'm still a junior, and will be for a while. I've got two years left (this one and next). So how many hours do you have left?

I've got two years left (this one and next). So how many hours do you have left? I'm taking 16 credit hours this semester, and after that I only need 11 more to graduate, but I'll probably take between 12-14...but I swear, I am taking NO classes about the 200 level next semester! Most of my classes this semester are 300 level, and this semester I've already written more essays than I have in any other 2 semesters combined, and it's not even midterm yet!! I'M SO SICK OF WRITING ESSAYS I COULD PUKE!!! ...*ahem* ...but on the plus side, Malfoy and I are testing for our green belts in Tae Kwon Do in about a week. That should break up the monotony of all the paper-writing nicely. sweatdrop

Okay!! ...I just wanted to apologize for my long absence. I've been busy writing essay after essay. In addition to that, though, Tanaka-san got a worm, and the infection was so bad that he had to have his hard drive completely wiped, so he was out of commission for a while. He's better now, though. 3nodding Since we seem to be having a lull in the flow of essay assignments, maybe I'll be able to check in regularly for a while.
