Ravi was nearly done clearing his lungs of whatever solidifed non-oxygen edible had floated into them when the man he'd turned away from pounded him painfully on the back. "Nngh!" Ravi coughed once more, and with the irony that came with awkward and untimely actions, the offending matter was up and out of his system. Ravi paled. A small, soggy lump of melon bread was now floating in his mouth and the warlock was most definitely certain that he did not like it being there. Covering his mouth with his right hand, he looked around frantically at the booth, hoping to find some sort of napkin somewhere around it. The best he could find in his five seconds of clambering was a vacant dishcloth, but after lifting it to his face, Ravi felt the burn of guilt and embarrassment harrassing his usually tanned cheeks. Turning, he soon located a trashcan and felt relieved. He bent over the cylinder, careful to keep his hair away from his face, and spat the bread piece out of his mouth as gracefully as he could.
He stood and dabbed his mouth with the cloth he'd found, realizing, as he observed the small crowd browsing the booths, what a spectacle he'd made. Choking was humiliating enough, but all that running around he had done was just laughing stock routine, pure and simple. He finished off his water and threw the cup into the trashcan, too.
"Young indeed," he said, sounding slightly haggard, to the long-eared man who'd help clear his throat. Remembering he'd done so, Ravi nodded. "Thanks."

Natsuki jumped slightly when the guy heartily patted the other on the back in an attempt to rescue him from choking. Biting her lip in amusement, she tried her best not to laugh at the drunken shenanigans.
"You are too cute," Natsuki smiled, turning her attention back and watching Chloe tend to the small boy with such tender care. She would have been a fantastic elementary school teacher. "I guess that means it's my turn."
Holding her a cripy bill, Natsuki wrinkled her nose and smiled. "Though I am not as cuddly as he is," she continued tossing her head in Ty's direction. "Ready?"

"O-Of course." Chloe leaned forward slightly, this time more unsure. It -was- a kissing booth.. she knew what it usually entailed...
Her cheeks flushed dark red as she decided she'd let Natsuki decide where to place the kiss. For a brief moment she thought of how she'd never thought this would be what her first kiss would be like...
But it was for the lab.. specifically for everything she'd broken with her clumsiness. She closed her eyes shyly and waited.

Alex had followed Roux's gaze, and saw the falling feather. He has more wings? she thought, glancing at his ears. She became alarmed when he looked as though he would fly, and it was only then that she saw his wings...or what was left of them.
She knew she should have given him the money and left at that point, but something in her - the same something that had kept her with Aphismet at the store - came back to her now. It was against her better judgement, but she could see his pain, even though he hid it behind an angry face. Alex hummed a low, trembling note; as if on cue, Zoe scurried off her shoulders, running on the ground back towards Chloe and Natsuki.
"Roux," she purred softly, quite aware of the suddenly colder weather, "do you have a dream?" Alex remembered having dreams as a child; she wanted to fly, to hold her breath forever, to sleep all winter. As a human, she knew she never could do such a thing. But this...this Raevan before her...there was no reason he couldn't. He was special, and she wanted him to know that as honestly as she could. She hoped to be gentle and inspiring to him.
Lorenzo leapt onto Chloe's booth. The speed at which he was traveling was too fast for his little feet to stop him, and he ended up skimming over it and back onto the ground. A disgruntled chirp was all that came from him, his ear-fins turned down; he was quite embarrassed.

Ty giggled after he was hugged, finding Chloe to be a wonderful person. That didn't excuse his fear of that imaginary virus every child suffered with at that age. He quickly looked over himself once more. Nothing. Good.
After the child's inspection he had begun to waddle off again, pausing in his steps as he watched Ravi rush about, "Mister!" The child stopped in his calls and points to some napkins on the ground once he saw Ravi deposit the intrusion.
He grumbled shaking his head before something else caught his eyes. They grew wide as saucers at the sight of Roux. His jaw hung open in astonishment,"A real live super hero!!" he screamed in joy as his toddles quickened while he redirected his course towards the booth. He'd never seen something like this up close before, it looked just like some of the super heros he doodled at home. All it was missing was a cape, and a mask. No worries though, Ty would fix that! He knew everything their was to know about super heroes, this would be a piece of cake.

The flush in Chloe's cheeks made Natsuki's smile soften. It was clear that Chloe was delicate and very shy, and quite possibly inexperienced. Natsuki cupped the sides of Chloe's face, and pecked her softly on the cheeks, first the right and then the left. Tapping her lightly on the nose, Natsuki whispered, "A lady never kisses on the lips at first. Gotta save something to keep the boys coming back for more."
Her gray eyes sparkled with a sense of knowing, though for Natsuki's part, the majority of her kisses were primarily drama club related. She couldn't remember an actual kiss in recent memory aside for the 'prize' she got over at Julian's booth.
"Save those lips for someone special," Natsuki winked, letting go and taking a step back. "Mind if I do bother Roux, and give you a chance to relax?"

He watched with complete amusement as Ravi gacked and stumbled like a little kid who was tricked into eating an oh so sour piece of candy, almost doubled over and wallowing in his own laughter. The Huicholan's smirk only grew as the man came straggling back to the refreshment booth
At the appreciative reply, We`rika coughed himself, pulling his scarf closer to his dark face self-consciously as his smile left him. The awkward moment left his brown eyes wandering around the crowd and toward the kissing booth where a familiar pink-haired girl was sitting. He'd seen her at the entrance, but never took the time to take up the offer over her head.
"Hummm..." We`rika rubbing his mouth and chin, mulling a thing or two over as he watched the line around Chloe. His sardonic smile found its way across his lips again and with a quick grab, he had Ravi's wrist and dragged him toward the kissing booth, "C'mon..."

Roux's eyes were thin, cold slits as he stared at the female. How dare she. She had no right to ask him such a question. Faintly he did remember The Dream.. the one that came to him as he'd slept for so long..
And then the child had come, screaming something loudly. The wood of the Kissing Booth crackled as frost spread rapidly over it's surface, the temperature plummiting to a frigid 0 degrees Ferinheight.
"Shut. No." His voice was nearly a growl as he closed his eyes in annoyance. He wanted them to be silent, all silent. They were crowding around and talking, talking at him.
Chloe gave a shy smile as Natsuki gave her a very lady-like kiss, slightly relieved and even more fond of the other woman. "O-Oh, of course." She glanced over, noticing with a startle of alarm that Roux seemed... angry.
Immediatly she was distracted as the small dragon zipped over the edge of her booth and landed with a puff of snow on the ground. She looked down with a gasp, kneeling to lightly pick the thing up like she would a kitten, one hand around it's chest, the other supporting it's bottom with it's tail tucked neatly beneath it.
She was clueless to the two men approaching her booth.

The stranger didn't seem too receptive to Ravi's gratitude, but the warlock hardly cared. As long as it kept the shorter, but rather abrasive-looking, fellow from trying to start something unpleasant, the warlock was more than satisfied. Not like he'd see the guy after today, anyway.
He swallowed and realized with the wisdom of hindsight that he hadn't really wanted to throw his cup away. He was still thirsty, though much more relaxed now. Perhaps that smack had pushed more than half-digested food out of his system. Ravi was starting to calm down, and a steady state of mind was key to the warlock's sense of stability.
Ravi was quickly jolted out of that "balanced" moment, however, when he was jerked roughly to the side by the long-eared man. "C'mon," the man had told him, a synister smile breaching his features. Unaware of the purposes for the other booths arranged, Ravi held the stranger in contempt for nothing besides being pulled around. "Let go!" he cried, pulling his wrist out of the man's grip. He rubbed the area, and after a short pause, his hands practically dove for his bag. Still safe. Still in one piece. No broken glass. Sighing, he turned a half-glare onto the man. "Where are you running off to, anyway?"

Josh took the dice in his hands once more cursing his rancid luck. He sighed as he gave them another toss. Josh hoped that today might turn out better than it had started. His eyes intently followed the dice as they rolled around before finally showing their numbers. ~~~~ He stepped away from the gambling game and made his way over to the refreshment stand. He still owed Eiry a flower or two. Josh could easily make out the bright mix of hues coming from the area and could pick up the wafting fragrance that perfumed from the fresh buds. He approached the counter, “May I buy some flowers?” The question wasn’t aimed at any particular person.

Alex quickly and carefully swept down and picked up the bundle of a boy. She wasn't built like an ox, but she was darn near as strong as one. Her hand snaked over the boy's mouth, whispering softly in his ear, "He is a Super Hero, sweetie, but sometimes even the strong ones need some time to be human."
Her green eyes looked steadily at Roux. The air hurt her lungs badly, to the point that it was extremely difficult to breathe, and she didn't bother to hide it. Her lips quirked in a barely repressed flinch, but she spoke to the Raevan again. Call it pushing her luck, but she was no push over. She was Italian.
"Roux, beautiful Roux," she murmured softly. Her breath crystalized before her lips, which were starting to burn. "You are so much more than anger and resentment. Humans and Raevans alike are fond of you, and respect you. I hope you see that." She kissed the cold air, intending it to be for him and the power he represented. Part of her felt she should say something to Chloe; she glanced over a few booths down to see the woman cradling Zoe. Let her have a moment, her mind clawed at the cold that had so suddenly befallen them.
It was so cold! It was all Alex could do to keep her teeth from chattering. "Tyson, s-sweetie," she forced out, "go be a d-dear and get some hot ch-chocolate?" She carefully released the boy, looking to Roux from the corner of her eye. Alex wasn't trying to offend him or be a threat. She merely wanted to see what he felt, hiding behind his wall of ice. The woman sincerely hoped she wasn't going to anger the Raevan or his owner...
Completely unaware of anything on the planet at that moment, Zoe was thrilled to be curled in the arms of the pretty pink-haired woman. He chittered and cooed and purred, squinting his eyes at her in pleasure. She was warm, and she held him like Alex did when he started to fall asleep. He let out a long yawn, sticking out his forked tongue, before smacking his tiny jaws together. Another coo, this time sounding like he was, in fact, going to sleep in Chloe's arms.

His journey was halted by Ravi's complaints. Huffing loudly, warm breath mingling with his scarf to create a frosty mist, We`rika turned around to see the other man glaring at him. What for?
"C'mon! S'not like you were livin' it up at the refreshment table... I have a lotta money ta spend before the night'sover... I'll buy you a kiss alright? C'mooon, dun be a ********' p***y! C'mon! C'monc'mon c'mooon!" It wasn't like him, but he supposed he could wheedle when it was necessary. After his first stunt at the kissing booths, the Huicholan thought it best to bring someone with him.

Taking a look over at Roux's booth, a chill shot down her spine as the temperature dipped dangerously below freezing. Natsuki quickly bundled up her jacket and put her hat back on, before hurrying over to the booth. Ty and Alex seemed to the closest in proximity to the Raevan, putting them both in the greatest danger.
"I think it might be best if we give Roux a little space," Natsuki said to Alex, casting a concerned glance at Roux. "He needs time to cool off." Instinctively, she stepped in front of the Italian woman and child, keeping her gray eyes fixated on Roux. She had met the Raevan on several occassions, but never had seen him so worked up before. It hardly seemed likely that food bribes would work this time around.
"It's a bit c-c-cold in here, R-r-roux," Natsuki gritted through her chattering teeth. Worried that he wouldn't recognize this 'two leg' without her work get up, she tried her best to diffuse the situation. "You're chilling out t-t-too much."

Tyson shut his eyes and almost had begun to cry before he was scooped up into Alex's arms. The child clung to her in fear, super heroes aren't supposed to act like that! His sister told him stories of their bravery and their words of kindness...not of their coldness and cruelty.
As soon as he was set down he felt a weakness in his knees and stumbled about as he tried to regain his footing in the snow,"O-Okay." He cried, running about in a circle not sure where he could find any hot-chocolate. The little boy had not been around for long to know where anything was, maybe if he'd just run back to Chloe? Safety from that so-called Superhero had to reside with a woman that sweet.

Furious would probably be too kind of an adjective to spend on Ravi after he'd listened to what the stranger had to say. What gave him the right to...?! And why would he...!? And that language!! Ravi couldn't tell if the long-eared man wanted Ravi to follow him or leave. Ravi wasn't even sure why he gave a damn. After all, Bast was probably using his cello as a scratchpost by now, or rolling all over his duvet... uggh. The redhead didn't really want to fllow around his new "friend," but going back home didn't seem like the best of options avaible to the man, either. Heaving a sigh, Ravi begrudgingly followed, but he did so with slow, resentful steps.
"What's your name, anyway?" he asked.
