Kurama sighed, "I would like to believe that, but he may have different memories. To him we could just be enemies like so many others. That would make this much harder for us than for him."

She kicked a few rocks away and shoved the pendant in her jean pocket.
"I could never hurt Kuruone and Inutoshi probably knows that."
Under her breath she muttered curses and continued kicking stones with her sneaker.

Inutoshi looked at the shadowed figure of the bat demon. "Not exactly what I had in mind, but it will do." He thought for a moment. "Go back, and bring her to me, and kill the fox. Do with the others as you wish." The figure smirked, teeth gleeming in what little light there was. With a wave of his hand, Inutoshi dismissed him, and the figure faded back into the shadows from whence it came. "...Soon, my dear... Soon..."

Rose sat down on the ground and reached into her backpack and produced a roll of gauze. She carefully started to wrap her wound on her arm before it started to bleed again.

Kuronue cackled as he jumped from tree limb to tree limb.
Quickly making his way towards the gang.
"It's been way too long since I had the pleasure of a true battle. I can taste the blood already."
Kuronue laughed once more and speed through the forests.
