The rub went a long way towards making him feel better, the little mage practically flattened his body against Riley's as he enjoyed the touch. "You'll... You'll rub my back for me?" he asked, pausing part way through when his partner found a nice spot.

"Yeah..." Kaleb said dumbly, letting his eyes close as he enjoyed the feel of Riley's hands pressing against his back. All the pushing and prodding at his stiff muscles hurt a little at first, but the massage just got more pleasureable as he was able to relax.

He should have asked Kaleb why he'd bothered asking if he was going to rub his back if he already was but he doubted he'd get a good response out of his partner.

Kaleb was probably beyond thinking anything coherent, backrubs were an unexpected luxury and he certainly didn't want his mind causing any distractions. His gentle purring started up as Riley rubbed right between his shoulderblades, completely silent as usual.

He liked it when Kaleb purred. It was kinda interesting to feel him almost vibrating against him. Though he was starting to think that maybe it wasn't such a good idea with his partner laying on him like that.

It wasn't long after he started purring that Kaleb went completely limp and relaxed against Riley. The muscles in his lower back would still need some more work before he could sit up without them being a bother, but for now everything was fine. It was more than fine, if he had been thinking properly the mage would have described the backrub as absolute bliss.

After a while his hands drifted lower. Kaleb seemed to really be linking it so he might as well get everything while he could.

Kaleb's purring intensified as Riley's hands hit another really nice spot, and his tail gave one lazy wag before going limp again. As much as he wanted to tell Riley that it felt good, all he could manage was a quiet little moan.

He had to bite his tongue to keep that little sound from making him do something embarrassing. He was suppose to be better than Reno damn it.

It was probably good that Kaleb abandoned all attempts at communication after that, he could always let Riley know how much he liked it when his mind wasn't so foggy and slow.

He was much better off with Kaleb being silent. He could concentrate on what he was doing and ignore anything else.

Kaleb let out a breathy little sigh, perhaps another failed attempt at words, and his purring continued steadily. Riley seemed to hit all the right places when he was focused on what his hands were doing.

"Better?" He probably shouldn't have asked Kaleb to try to think but he wanted to make sure that his partner was feeling better.
