Lasreaine I love the picture of Kia-panther and Natas-wolf flanking Def's throne, it is just to perfect a dark queen. What, with that much evil surrounding her? Damn straight. whee I absolutely love this story, Mr. Gendou! Grayed's inner thoughts just seem to foreshadow something, but it also makes me want to know more about her to see what she'll do. The conflict is just...<3 And I love my position at Defen's side, with Natas. But we're were-folk, I wonder what we'll be like in human~ surprised

Dang. I thought I knew who Grayed was in communication with, but now I'm not so sure. And I thought I knew that Mory had killed those men in the tavern, but now I suspect that the blood on the sword was not theirs. And I thought that I knew how good a writer Gendou was, but he just keeps getting better.

Westonian Dang. I thought I knew who Grayed was in communication with, but now I'm not so sure. And I thought I knew that Mory had killed those men in the tavern, but now I suspect that the blood on the sword was not theirs. And I thought that I knew how good a writer Gendou was, but he just keeps getting better. Dang, man. heart Seconded.

I have to admit, I thought the tavern was Mory's fault as well...but who knows? This gets better as it goes, things which are -too- obvious bore me. So far, I'm FAR from bored. biggrin

Gee, you guys, thanks for all of your confidence. rolleyes whee I mean, I thought I did it too, but think back to the very first chapter. I could hardly even lift that sword! I don't know just exactly what kind of sword it was Weston was packing, but it was HUGE! eek Look, look, here's the line. Chapter One She spun around at the sound of the soft voice, trying to lift the sword and meet the new threat. Instead, she simply succeeded in dragging the point of the sword through the blood smeared on the stone floor... So it wasn't me. I'm SO not a murderess. BOO-yah. domokun

You write great action scenes. It's really...wow. I liked the "formidable pile of shattered skeletons"
I liked how the undead animals were fighting. I can just imagine zombie rabbits and undead cats running about.
Now, what I think are bad points:
The royal family seems to be fairly informal, with Boychilde calling the King Dad and Queen Mom.
I dunno about this, but I felt that Kyraa's line on adventure in the city and the laugh sounded a little forced to me, a bit unnatural.
The mention of Gendou's attack on Layham made it much too obvious that he was going to attack them.
Mory seemed to be unaccounted for throughout the whole battle. She wasn't mentioned doing anything at all. It gave me the impression that she was calmly standing beside Weston, seemingly unaffected by the skeletons. She didn't even say anything, while everyone else had something to say.
Despite all that, this chapter is great.

You mentioned them once and you haven't told us their wherabouts. Umm....yes he did. Blue and Alliance were talking about DV a couple chapters ago, and mentioned that he was still in Highguard. Anyway, this was an AMAZING chapter. Kickin' some zombi tail, the Kyramazons Kamrin get to have some fun, Mory gets kidnapped, and Gendou keeps getting creepier and creepier. More comments and speculation later today. 3nodding
