Teehee... we did "The Raven"
It was all dark, and scary, and evil, and we had a narrator that read parts of the poem by Edgar Allan Poe through a voice modulator. Sadly, there are no videos online of the full show yet...
Well, that was this year, but last year was a Final Fantasy theme, which was cool.

We're doing the "Gladiator" theme... you know, the movie? We have, like, really vague song names like "The Battle" and "Strength and Honor" xd
I really pushed for the final Fantasy theme, but My band director's a little old fashioned xp

Well now that Marching Season's over, I still want to tell what my band did. My band is Military so, I don't know if you guys have heard some of the songs before. We did for our first song "Battle of the Winds" by C.E. Duble. And for our second song we did "Quejada", which was arranged by our director. And for our final song we did "Cyrus the Great" by King (I don't know his first name). Again, I don't know what kind of band all you guys are, but we're military, and some of you sound Corps.

I'm with the Enterprise, Alabama Big Blue Marching Band. I play flute and I'm a Sophmore. Our show was called "Divas Through The Decades. It had songs from waaay back when. And then a few songs from today.
All of the songs I can Remember: -Proud Mary -Stop In The Name Of Love -Freedom -Material Girl -The Rhythm Is Gonna Get You -Man I Feel Like A Woman -Crazy In Love
There were 3 movements and in the third we started DANCING!! This was my first show, so it was pretty exciting. Also, the music was written for a college band. And it was surprisingly easy for us to perform.
If you wanna see the college version, go to the following website: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5l2Dv-fBAMg
P.S. This was a really hard year for us, considering that not even a year ago our school was destroyed by a tornado and eight students were killed. crying crying crying crying crying

"Colors of Jazz" composed of the songs, Blue Skies, Summertime, El Toro Caliente, and True Colors. Our ending was sweet because we set our instruments down, and pull out a colored fabric. In the end, you see a rainbow! ^_^

Down in Southern Ohio? Did you go to Fenwick High School for a comp? Cause I think I saw you there. We had a band come that did exactly that! I wish we could do something really cool like Final Fantasy, (has anyone listened to Marching Tune #0 from Dirge of Cerberus? It's amazing!), but we did at least do Pirates of the Caribbean last year. This year we did "A New World" from the symphony by the same name. It sounded cool, and was wicked hard.

We supposedly have a rivalry with them. domokun The Drum Major Instinct, I am. ^^ Or rather, we are... Based on a Martin Luther King Jr. Speech...

Our show was Westside Story. It was the first year my high school qualified for the State competition (out of 8 years). It was amazing - great show, with difficult music including jazz and soft, pretty music.
