((Random Diceroll to help me judge something based off Variables... ninja What? I like Dicerolls, it's a tool, not crutch like some contend...))

Daniel lunged forward, seeing something coming out of the corner of his eye. The first ball whoosed just past him, missing by about a clear foot, bringing a bit of a cocky smile to his face. Damned Talents never seemed to figure out that maybe their all powerful skills would...

That was about as far as he got in the thought. The second one blindsided him, slamming hard into his chest, and knocking the wind right out of the man. The ball hit with enough force to send him flying.

Flying, flying... right over the edge. He didn't scream, couldn't after the rush of wind that escaped him. His ribs felt like they were bruised, or maybe broken.

Not that he had much time to self diagnose, he was falling, he was aware of the black night waters coming up. Desperate, he took in as much air as he could with his hurt chest. He twisted, trying to actually dive into the water instead of belly flop onto it.

He was only half successful, he came in at an angle, but the shock of hitting the water was still enough to cause him to open his mouth. Air rushed out, water came in. He felt a small bit of seawater come down before he managed to close up....

((Two dodges, based on both Reflexes and his "natural Affinity". I couldn't determine for certain if I could For Sure dodge any of them. Black objects in the middle of the night and all...))

*gold watched from the bottom of the pipe as his opponent fell of the rig and then moved backup over the pipe and onto the walkway*

~sound of daniel hitting the water~

Now onto turbo bolt…

<>
*gold pulled the orb of oil that Daniel had dodged over towards him (gold not Daniel) and began walking towards were Vic had been, he also pulled his rifle with Psycho kinesis off of it’s strap and to his hand*

~the fire from the helicopter had died down~

<>

*gold raised himself into the air a couple feet*

<>

*gold gathered up 2 more balls of oil about half the size of the first ones, while doing this gold flicked his finger across his helmet and his visor switched to night vision mode*

[Having a ball - In The Skies Above The Oil Rig Vic Voltage

He could feel it. That familiar tingling that raised the hairs on the back of his neck and along his arms. A storm was brewing. Half blinded, deafened, and bleeding, this was still something he could do. It was the core of his being. The crackling energy called.

His voice was still amplified, and it boomed down towards the rising Goldbrease, still far, far below the lounge singer-come "terrorist". Even garbled through the water, his voice was still distinguishable to Daniel.

"RAAAH!" He raised his arms upwards, calling down Schwarzenegger-sized arms of lightning from the swirling storm. The shots were random and frenzied, Twelve bolts in succession in rapid staccato. They were also twenty feet long each. And they weren't even all of the energy he now had at his disposal: the electric orb was now its own localized storm, a spinning vortex with Victor at the center.

(is that realy haveing a ball in the sky? it seems more like hes royaly angery.....)

[on Vic's tail in the sky

Whoa!

<>
*gold sees images in his mind as the lightning forms and begins to fly reading the most probable path for them to take, Gold spun and flew back wards slipping into an opening bewteen 2 of the bolts in the air as the lightning rains down on the rig it the lightning does catch one of the oil balls and lights in blaze*

That’s bad…. The hole rig is like a giant lightning rod with all that metal.

<*gold continues to speed in flight towards Vic and send the unlit smaller oil ball hurdling towards the bottom of Vic’s lighting twister he is now inside and the ablaze ball of oil right towards vic while keeping the remaining one a ways away next to him,

As the fire ball flies towards vic gold fires a shot from the rifle so it goes right under the fireball towards Vic’s leg*

Well (expletive deleted)... He lost a pistol, some ammunition, and a flashbang... and what did he have to show for it? Just some swimming practice so far.

Daniel kicked his legs, coming up to the surface away from the oil slick that was left behind from that big ball of grease that knocked him off. His lungs burned, and he swallowed a mouthful of sea breeze as though it were the sweetest thing on the whole world.

He was wet, he was battered, he was miserable. And from the sounds of jet engines and electricity, well, the battle was still raging.

He slowly started to paddle towards a boat. Not his, the next closest one. The helicopter was down. The Fighters were still up there, but they didn't exactly look like passenger jets... besides, nothing he could do about them right now.

What he could do, was sink some boats, and slow the competition down when, and if, the Bounty Head got away. Or negoiate Passage for whoever does win, as he might have the only transport out.

Yeah. Good plan.

He came up to the nearest boat. Small pontoon thing. Hardly seemed seaworthy to start wtih. He kicked his legs hard, getting up so he coudl grab onto the side of the boat, and pull himself aboard.

-Under Da' Sea!-

Before she knew it, her descending speed had increased and to make matters worse, sudden violent wind currents destabilized the vertical free fall like a rattled bird cage. The incoming laser fire scraped the left wing and damaged one of the Vulcan guns. With a loud "KA-SPLASH!" a geyser of water rose from the sea as she had hit the water and sank quickly. All systems shut down from the impact, water isn't as "liquidy" as it looks. "I've always wanted to see what it's like under the surface...but not like this ha ha.", she had a big grin with confidence while tapping away at a control panel in front of her.

-Oil Rig...Chaos-

She spent a little too much time thinking on what to do and during that time all hell had broken loose out there, you had some crazy gun totting man firing and throwing grenades that caused some temporary spots in her vision and deafening. Weapons weren't the only things being used as the other person seemed to be using some sort of...not...human...powers to throw things around and cause more damage to the oil rig. Perhaps they were rival hunters? If so, this would be a good chance to go for Vic Voltage but just as she was about to make a mad dash to him he had been shot by the gun maniac and "flew" away. He seemed pretty angry from the looks of it and let it be known as he summoned large bolts of lightening and flung them in random places, which wasn't good.

"So much trouble for just one person.", she mumbled to herself while peering out from the hiding spot, "Now or never!", and with that she made a sprint in the direction of where Vic had been.

-Poor Unfortunate Soul!-

Her quarry had plunged into the water while she had generated that storm. How very interesting. A quick glance showed where Victor was. Yes, he had definitely felt the storm brewing. "He's still a man, but even dogs are good at digging." The mutter held the obvious disdain, but also a grudging bit of admiration, as it was picked up and passed over the radio waves.

The black variable fighter stood in the air, its edges occasionally highlighted by violent flashes of lightning, then suddenly plunged downwards towards the water, still in "standing" position. The katana was held before her, the VF-11's visor split into two eyes that gazed past either side of the blade. Just before she hit the surface of the water, a huge explosion of wind exploded upwards under the mecha, holding it up just long enough for the foot thrusters to fire and hold the mecha aloft. The targeting computer had lost contact with the equally mysterious larger craft, but that fool Voltage had left the prize he'd worked so hard for right out in the open for anyone to take.

The VF began the mechamorphosis to Gerwalk mode.
The cause would be fulfilled. Even in the face of a man's incompetence.

[In Pain. In Need.]

The amplified scream burst through even the roaring of thunder and the rush of fire.

Vic was still blinded, still deaf, and even further, his vortex made it very difficult to see and hear past. A vortex that was now half consumed in flames, shot through with writhing current. It was hard to tell what was going on now. The moment the fireballs touched the surface, it was all heat, thick oily black smoke, and sparks. Thus it was tough to tell whether the bullet had gone where Gold had intended, or if Vic Voltage had screamed for another reason. Regardless...if he wasn't angry before, he certainly was livid now.

Vic Voltage
SF remaining: 1/3 (nonshareable)

There was a quiet explosion from within the cone, and suddenly the sky was filled with sparkling motes which dotted the darkness like the stars in the heavens. Immediately following the explosion, several more arms of lightning burst out from the swirling chaos, arching in the air straight for Gold's location. These seemed to follow him with eerie accuracy.

~gold's helmet reacting to the ammount of light given off by the lightning switches to normal optics~
*gold begins to dodge at first until he notices the controlled movement of the lightning and then takes stance in the air and begins to concentrate holding the rifle like a soldier would at attention in his right hand and holding his other hand in a way that reminds you of a ninja’s technique sign*

~sigh~
SF point used
<>
*gold strikes his hand out just before the lightning reaches him enveloping himself in a barrier of mental energy, with the last oil sphere outside and several feet off, as the lightning strikes and envelops the barrier gold begins to sweat inside his helmet even with the climate control in his suit*

<>
*after the thunder bolts have hit the barrier and there life has ended as an electric swirl around his barrier he sneds out a small mental blast to disburse the electricity*

Don’t count me out yet!

*searches for Vic’s mind inside the storm and takes aim with the rifle directly towards Vic mind in the storm (his brain aka his head he he), and flings the remaining orb into the electric twister Vic created*

Gold’s SF points 2/3

[This one wanting to be thinner...(wait what?) - Vic vs Gold in the Sky with Diamonds]

The sphere immediately burst into flame, the glittering sparks that drifted like a cloud of gold dust in the way of the oil's path. It still traveled towards the storm, but the fuel it was comprised of was quickly being consumed along its travel.

((Since the rifle hasn't been fired, I don't get to react to that yet. 3nodding ))

<>

*gold watches as his oils burns up from the heat before reaching the twister Vic has, while focusing on keeping Vic’s mind locked on*

~he has go to be inside of an inferno in there~
<>
*gold about to pull the trigger on the rifle but stops and drops it as it float to his back and the back strap re latches*

Ok my turn.

<< Psycho blast/orb>>
*gold begins forming a slightly larger psycho blast sphere in front of him and quickly forms a psycho blast sphere in each hand flinging the purpled hued spheres in each hand (only looking like he thru them) swirling in a twisting figure 8 form
(Sort of like a DNA strand) towards Vic, just afterwards sending the slightly larger sphere right after the other 2*

[Luck is a Lady Tonight]

Bingo. He hardly expected this. After all, the bounty head could fly, that was established. Why would he need a boat?

He hadn't expected it, but well, it was enough enough to realize he needed to capitalize on this. There was the target, that damned empty headed woman who had gotten herself kidnapped and started this whole ugly scrambled up thing. Hell, as far as he could figure, there were at least Four "Sides" brawling over this damned woman.

Suffice to say, the only reason he was happy to see her was the looming prospect of a big payoff.

It took only another moment to figure out what the Security was over here. Nice little dome of Electricity. How quaint. Really, he should spend more time trying to HIDE his traps than making them blatantly obvious. It was so obvious in fact he immediately started looking around for a second, better concealed trap.

When he was finally happy that the woman's esteemed host was incredibly stupid and hadn't thought to put anything other than one simple, pathetic safeguard on the woman, he went to work.

He pulled out his pistol, pressing it right against the seam in the boat between wall and floor. Right where one of the Pontoons would be. He had concluding something really simple. The boat hadn't burned down. That had to mean the Energy wasn't anchored to the boat. It was free floating. Or maybe by proximity. Either way, sinking the boat would get Ai Leen Under the defenses, or nullify it as it hit the water and was dispersed through the more conductive medium.

Then whoosh, dive in, rescue the girl, go back to his boat. Take her out of there. Easy half mil.

Yup. Easy as Pulling a Trigger.

There was a dull thud, the sound of the shot muffled by being pressed tight against the boat. The second explosion was slightly louder, and rocked the boat as the pontoon ruptured like an overripe peach, letting in water fast, and sinking the boat.

Daniel went over towards the high side. Just to ge out of the water when that voltage hit. If it did.
