"Or you could learn to use my portals so you could get it yourself." Kaleb said simply. He wouldn't mind using his magic for Reno, he just didn't want the embarassment of looking like a minor trying to buy alcohol.

Kaleb scrambled to sit up a bit. "A-are you sure you wouldn't rather get used to it first, before going out?" he asked, remembering how dizzy and helpless he had been the first time he used one of the portals.

"I can handle whatever it is." He'd been able to walk out of a building after cracking almost his entire rib cage so he could handle whatever magic it was.

Kaleb frowned, but he slid off Reno's lap without arguing. Luckily he knew where a beer store was, so he was able to open a portal that led to a small alleyway right beside it. "I-if you say so. Do you mind if I came with you just to be sure?"

Kaleb huffed a bit. "Just don't fall on me when you get dizzy on the other side." he said, before stepping through the glowing portal.

He looked at Rude for a moment before he stepped though the portal. He though he'd understand 'dizzy' but he wasn't prepared completely for that. Stumbling slightly he hit the wall of the alley and shook his head.

Kaleb had conjured the portal right near the wall for that very reason, and had made sure he stepped out of the way before Reno came through. "Take your time if you need it," he said, ready to reach out and help the redhead keep his balance if he needed the assistance.

'Damn ... and i thought mako ******** up your head." His eyes blinked open slowly before he snapped them shut again. He reached out and set one hand on Kaleb's shoulder just to make sure that something wasn't spinning.

Kaleb used a bit of magic to steady himself, so Reno wouldn't knock him over if he needed to lean on him. "I-I'll make sure the return trip will take you right to the couch," he said. "And I can carry your beer if you want."
