*Down in the ice chasm, audible for some way around even, the sound of heavy bass reverberated off the walls as Ice idly turned on his stereo and settled down to relax for a while, apparently oblivious to all around him. What made it WORSE... was his choice in music. One would imagine someone, or someTHING as ungodly as he would listen to suitable music of a death metal nature. BUt not Ice. Ice, even in his music, liked to corrupt. And it was with tHAT in mind one would realise he was TECHNICALLY listening to Christian rock. However if one got closer, one may work out what band precisely - Skillet. And closer still, one may work out what SONG and suddenly it all made a horrible kind of sense. Echoing off the walls and causing them to shudder, Ice's stereo blaste dout Locked in a Cage while he himself lay reclined in teh outstretched arms of a living model of Faye he had created a few days prior.*
I wanna be locked in a cage I wanna be starpped in a chair I wanna be where you are If my insanity comes Wrapped up inside you
I wanna break my legs In case of thought to escape Keep the hammer out of my reach If my pounding impulse comes Wrapped up inside Your arms.... Locked up inside You
*It may be noted, he was reading a book, tail hanging down between Faye's arms until the tip brushed the floor, the eerie scraping of the blade against ice dulled by the pounding music. Every now and then... he turned a page*
Hold me down 'cause I want to know You You bring calm to my rage You are life and I'm thristing for You
Hold me, hold me, locked in a cage I love to be caught in you I wanna be trapped in Your arms Your cage is rest to my bones Your cage is peace to my soul Wrapped up inside Your arms Wrapped up inside You
*A slight murmur or terror form the victim currently playing Faye had the faun looking slight irked, but a pass of his hand over Faye's throat soon sorted that. Delicate fingers were licked, seductively even though he was alone, and another page turned. Quietly, the faun began to sing under his breath with the song, well aware the lyrics in relatio to himself made even music perverted around him. It was a skill.*
Hold me down 'cause I want to know You You bring calm to my rage You are life and I'm thristing for You Hold me, hold me, locked in a cage Wrapped up inside Your arms Wrapped up inside Your arms I'm inside Your arms
I'm inside Your arms Hold me down 'cause I want to know You You bring calm to my rage You are life and I'm thristing for You Hold me, hold me, locked in a cage
Hmmmm... another half an hour I think.

A gentle brush of fingers touched along cold walls, brushing a trail of dying warm toward the pulsating bass. Grazing this surface past the warmth were the touch of nails, barely cutting into the ice. But there was no presence felt with this approach, no scent following the man as he made his way closer. But why? Why was there no feeling? Why would Ice sense nothing when so often before, there was always something to be felt? It was the same man, the same sweet prince, the same beauty that enveloped his form as before. And yet, he concealed himself, concealed his presence to those within the chasm. Crimson eyes would gaze onto Ice as he entered into the room, he watched him. Silently, the prince did smirk, leaned slightly against the wall at the entryway of the room. With that smirk, he waited and listened to the soft sounds of the faun's singing, amusement apparent in his eyes. He observed, not unlike a predator does his prey as it goes about its day to day workings...
"Until what... Might I ask?" He broke the silence he kept, taking a step forward into the room. Faye's other arm pulled forward, dragging a chain that he had held from the time he had entered the chasm. Slowly, it receeded toward him, revealing the form of a... Creature. A slowly moving, almost shambling collection of bones pushed in and connected to mounds of flesh and clumped blood. An organ pierced from under its belly, and a series of bones led to a large dome like head. A wide, large mouth was apparent, with long fang like teeth. Its eyes were like a fish's almost, blood shot with deep crimson irises quickly darting from one direction to the next. A hissing, deep set of breathing could be heard from it, which caused trails of blood spattered saliva to drip to the floor below. With this dragging pace, it followed alongside and just behind Faye, who led it toward Ice with a slow strut of sorts. "Have I missed something, per chance?" he would smile.

Until I go and interceed in my own affairs. Im being lazy.
*If the faun was suprised by Faye;s presence, which of course he WAS, he showed it not at ALL. He didnt even jump or glance up sharply. Centuries of practice were to blame for that, his perfectly sculpted body fully under HIS control and driven only by his will. And he refused to jump, or show suprise. Instead, he read to the bottom of his page, then slithered sensuously from the faux Faye's grip, leaving the volume in the living statues hands as he sauntered towards his Prince, looking over the beatws he had brought with him. On coming close to Faye, he dropped to one knee respectfully, but his bright, mischiveious eyes didnt dip even a slight amount as his fingers snapped and the music cut itself off*
Who's this? Ugly looking thing, isnt it? A new toy prehaps?

"No... Not quite." A hand from the pink haired man came down along Ice's cheek. The caress of his touch moved along under his chin, then steadily lifted the faun's head up to see a smirk. "I created it myself, from myself, rather..." he tugged the chain lightly, causing the creature to look up uneasy at its Master, before its eyes once again rapidly darted from point to point. "I have been working on it for some time, creating, forming... Developing a life, a living being. It's part of a sort of... Experiment of mine that I am attempting. That this creature is alive still, and that its own make up has yet to reject itself is a good sign." his smile broadened, the prince seemed amused, very amused. His latest work made him happy in its success, happiness that was clear to be spared for the beast's benefit.

*Ice raised an eyebrow at Faye, then stood and walked slowly round teh creature, inspecting it*
You have a use for it? It wouldnt fare well in combat... even with other things aside, Ive always found that even the undead hurt terribly from having organs punctured, no matter how much they dont need them. Its an interesting construct though....
*Sliding behind Faye as he completed his circuit of the beast, Ice lay his head against the back of Faye's right shoulder, his arms daring to encircle his prince around his chest*
Made by you huh? You DO know if you desire anything crafted I will gladly do it FOR you my Prince....
*Ice;s tongue slid between his lips and drew a line up Faye's neck to his ear, then the faun moved back, knowing even these small actions wouldprobably earn him pain. His smile was poisonous though at the sher fact Faye was there. The man intoxicated him*

A hand upon his forehead he sighed as he sat against the cold walls of his room. Perhaps disbelief of what he'd be doing caused this. Concern seemed to touch his features for what felt lik the first time in months maybe the first time in a year.
As he stood and leaned against the same wall he felt he'd a very good reason to be worried. H'ed sighed more then he should ever have thought possible within the last day or so. All because of that blasted Mage! It was that bloody Mage's fault he had paced about till the sun rose, looking for anything in the parts of the chasm he was allowed. He'd found nothing of what the Mage had spoke, nothing Ice would come after simply because of what it it was, let alone imediately.
This is what gave birth to his concerns. He WOULd have to betray Ice, he would have to cross that line and find what lay inn that realm of darkenned ice. The place itself did not truely scare him, nor did it give him the look of worry he wore. No, that had little do with it...The principle of what he'd be doing DID...More so what came after that...His Sire's wrath. THAT above all made him paranoid.Never had he been so fearful in his Cainite 'life' (no matter how so short) then what would come after Ice found out who'd betrayed him: The Childe who'd sworn his loyalty time and time again.
But what choice did he have? If he didn't obey, the Mage would kill off the only being he could still say he loved. And she was human, she coudl be stuck out in an instant....And even after she lay dead, whose to say he wouldn't be force dinto this very situation anyway?...Ice was Cainite, strong, he could handle himself if trouble was brewed of this...Or so Leer believed....
That thought brought him little consolation.
One last taxed sigh and he turned to move, tail swishing lacklusterly as opposed to the usual flourishing graces. For a momment he appeared as though a wilted flower. He caught this image of himself in the ice and found himself quite disgusted...That wasn't right--He needed to learnto hide his emotions better still it seemed. He still had some to blot out...NOw was as good a time as any. This would require some acting.
Running a hand through his hair, he straightenned up and took on his usual confident stride and posture as he made his way towards the chamber Ice kept for himself.
"I'm going out...I'll be back before ths sun shines brightest..."
And with that, he made as if to leave, turning to take the passages that would lead him through his usual series of exits. As soon as he got out of the Chasm he pulled is aura close to himself and pulled a long threa dof shadow form under himself, flicking it out into a cloak of the same. Tail shrinking into his body, and hooves replaced by soft padded fet, much like a gecko's, he slipped it over his body. Coating himself with shadow he had masked his aura and scent. Shaking his head he cleared his mind of worrisome thoughts and melted in amongst shadows to begin this terribly foolish heist.

"A use?" Faye raised his eyebrow, eyes keeping on Ice as he approached. The creature by Faye's side was less... Curious and more weary of the faun. It visibly shivered, though lightly, yet this could very well have simply been an involuntary action. Abruptly it snapped at Ice, being pulled just inches from the beast's leg with a quick jerk. "I do not plan on using it to fight. As I said, it is for an experiment I am conducting. It is, however..." Faye pauses as the faun moves around him. He drew a finger along the hand as it came to his chest. Though he did not simply touch the faun's hand, rather it was a nail, which cut the flesh. A slow moving line is formed, one which would bleed down Ice's hand once he removed it. "...Not undead, but in fact living, actually living." the prince turned his head, crimson eyes glancing to the side. "I am aware of just how willing you are to please me my dear. However this particular project requires my... Specialities, I'm afraid." he turns to face the beast, his grin broadening. For once, he did not direct his wrath upon the faun, did not hurt him for daring to come so close. Though this was a particularly good day for the pink haired man. And he... He was in a particularly good mood, it would seem. His attention to the faun was broken a moment when Leer passed through the room. His eyes glanced to the side rather quickly, and his head following. A brow was raised to the creature, clearly he did not recognize him, clearly he had not seem him before. Though he said nothing regarding it, he simply watched with a bemused expression, a knowing expression.

*Ice's tail lashed like a happy kitten as he recieved no retribution for his proximity to the usually volatile Faye, his chin resting on his partners shoulder as he nodded to Leer, then licked Faye;s ear*
My son. Leer.
*He said by way of explanation. The faun;s eyes followed Leer's progress out of his room, and through the next thanks to the nature of the ice chasm, then his attention was fully on Faye once more, Leer's aura not even looked for as his devotion turned once more to one of his two favourite obsessions. And as such... he shifted the topic back to Faye;s creation*
So what experiment are you running that requires something of this nature? Living.... I find the living to be even more fragile than the dead my love. But have it your way.... you always do....
*The mischevious smile was in full force as the faun capared across the room and hopped up on the faux-Faye's arms once more, avidly watching the real thing as he swung his deadly bladed tail back and forth like a pendulum*

When finally he slid from shadows again, he found himself not but a foot step from the line of black ice he'd been told never to cross. He stared at it a momment, wonderring what he'd find...His own scientific curiosities and experimental desires added to the drive to finish this and be done with it. To be out of the frying pan and finally have to deal with the impending fire.
"Better sooner then later..."
The cloak slid off his body and melted into shadows. His body adopted the color of the black ice, making sure he blended perfectly with each inch. his shape now resembled something like a bipedal lizard. his feetretained that gecko pad like nature, as did his hands now. His head was more angular, draconic, and the neck leading to it longer and similar in nature.
Crouching into a springing position the black scaled dragon-like Leer leapt onto the closest wall, sticking to it with the pads of his hands and feet and swivelled his blue and white eyes about to take a look behind him as his head panned around on it's lengthy neck. Far as he could tell the coast was clear. So long as he kept his scent and aura well masked he should be able to finish this part with little damage to himself...The part that came after worried ihm more...He cleared his mind of it -- and began crawling about the walls, going deeper and deeper into the black void of the ice chasm.

"Yes... Son..." The reply of Faye was brief, regarding Leer. Yet the look in his eyes was hardly the same, those crimson irises spoke a great deal. Though it may have been difficult to understand, but something kept his attention onto the younger male as he left the room. "Hm." he almost seemed to ignore Ice for a moment, at least, he seemed to. But Faye was not so cold as to not give attention to such a loyal little pet as the faun. Whatever was going through his mind he kept to himself, glancing to the the beast with a half-grin. "I am aware, my pet, most of the living are fragile..." he began to approach the effigy of himself in slow stride. "However, this creature is of a superior make..." and the 'creature' followed him, lumbering forward with an almost clumsy, distorted step. "For you see pet, when I had stated I created it... I meant it in the most literal sense." he raised his left hand slightly to his chest, turning it back and forth as his gaze went down. "It is created from me, from myself, it is a part of me... It is me. I was able to separate and forge it, to create it and give it life. Tell me..." he stops, a good three feet away from Ice himself, looking up into his eyes. "Do you recall our conversation last? A previous night not long before this where we were in the tavern of one of those little DeSeers you seem to like so much. Do you recall my mention of being able to form and shape that glove over my hand?" he asks, raising his brow to the faun.

I recall my Prince... and I believe I was suitably impressed. Is this why you bring it to show me?
*Ice cocked his head winsomely at Faye, watching him with barely veiled lusts.
Meanwhile in the chasm, where Leer dared venture, the fissure slowly narrowed down into the black ice until it formed a natural corridor of black ice, leading to a sealed door. At Leers touch, it would swing open, giving the young Tzimisce access to the hall of masks Ice prided himself on. With each wall covered in the living, moving death masks, the hall resounded with pain and anguished cries of Ice's eternally preserved victims, the faces of death he had kept and cherished for longer than most could concieve. The faces focused on anyone who entered Ice's most precious domain, the features of each growing more beautiful as one proceeded through the corridor towards the final room at the end of the hallway. Here, Ice had preserved each of his many lovers in perfect detail while atop a raised dias in the center of the room, his most prized masks of all rested. One, of Corbin DeSeer, perfect in evey detail, loving crafted form Ices own bone while he had held the DeSeer heir captive. And next to it, Faye's own features, as gifted to Ice by Faye humself and made of Faye's bone. A gift from his Prince.
Woe betide Leer if he dared try on ANY of the masks however... at which point, Abrasax spoke up*
Take them! The master will want these. His most prized possesions..

As the chasm narrowed out, Leer tok to walking down it rather then scaling the walls. he didn't expect anyone else back here. Why should anyone else be?
He passed into the room fairly unsurprised until he began looking about. He winced briefly as his finely attuned ears adjusted tot he shrieks of torture emitting from these constant victims. Besides that though, he seemed mostly unrattled. These were the faces of death...The dead had no reason to fear death any longer.
he took brief glances of each he passed. Many faces he'd never seen...Or two here and there that struck an odd chord. Soon he found himself at the end though. Before he'd time to think He found Abrasax breathing down his throat already.
"Right...Let's just get this over with already"
Slowly, he reached out, as if expecting the masks to claim his hands as their own. Something was pulling at him here..A naging suspicion that he'd regret this for a long time to come. Something told him this was all going to fal into him by the end of the act.
Still, he grasped both Faye's and Corbin's mask. One in each hand. Then he turned and began creeping abck the way he'd come.

*Indeed, MORE distubing than the wail of damned souls on the walls, was the utter silence that suddenly came crashing in as Leer lifted the prized items from their slots. A million eyes all turned towards the podium, the living masks each stopping their own wails of despair to simply stare at Leer.... and then, in unison, the wailing began anew, each voice perfectly synchronised with its neighbour, the entire cacaophony screeching around the main chamber like harpies at a kill, fractures showing in the ice as the sound bounced back and forth off the walls, always growing un volume until it was well beyond the noises needed to cause the inner ear to bleed.
Outside, Ice flicked one lazy ear, raising his head slightly, then smirked a long slow smirk, his tail lashing as his eyes drifted to the left, towards the passage into the black chasm*
