Asher caught the flying undera. "Merethist...You should be in bed and asleep." He scolded gently, not really upset and just glad he greeted him anyway. He carried the undera back inside the house.

Merethist was sent into a fit of giggles when Asher caught him yet again, the vampire seemed to be able to catch him better than Jay. Who usually went tumbling to the ground or whatever peice of furniture stood behind him. He didn't attack Raven with hugs so forcefully, knowing it was very bad given Raven's current state.
"Ay and Aven all snuggly snuggly, Merethist has no one to snuggly snuggly with, so no sleep now" The Undera explained in his own special way. He still hadn't grapsed the concept of full sentences though he was better now than he was a few months back. He was simply used to crawling in with Jay or Asher during the night.

"Ah...so that's why you're still up. No one to snuggle with huh?" He settled the undera down and went to check on Julianna who was sleeping peacefully in her bed. She was a good sleeper once she was down...but if a nightmare occured, she crawled in bed with Asher, Jay or Raven.
Next he checked on Jay and Raven, smiling some and took Merethist's hand. "Come on. You can snuggle with me until morning." He led him away for Asher's bedroom. He was feeling exhausted and almost wanted to book a couple of spa treatments for everyone...

Merethist giggled and kissed Asher repeatedly on the cheek, he also looked at Jay and Raven, though Jay's features kept swapping between content and a frown. He blinked,but since Asher made no comment he shrugged it off. Delighted about the fact he was allowed to snuggle with Asher.
"Sher snuggly snuggly Merethist? yay!"

"ahh!" Jay cried out as he sat bolt upright, his features sweaty and his face contorted in shock and fear as he panted. That was the first nightmare he'd had since...well a long time and he was scared as hell by now. Pulling his knees up to his chest he let a small whimper out, trying to calm his racing heartbeat and go back to sleep, though now he knew it would evade him completely.

"Yea..snuggly snuggly." He chuckled as he went to change from his clothing to simple black silk pants. He didn't bother to tie his hair back and just settled on the bed.

Raven woke up to Jay's cry; often waking to her own made her a light sleeper. She turned to Jay, frowning softly. "What's wrong?" She turned over to face him, adjusting only a little because of her tummy. Tentatively, she reached over to lightly touch his arm. "Jay?"

Jay started at Raven's touch and scooted away from her, then finally realising it was her. He relaxed and shook his head, turning to lie down again.
"I just had a nightmare Raven..about Asher getting..not coming...home..there was blood everywhere....and everyone was dead...." he whispered softly, hiding his face in the pillow as images of such an horrific dream washed over him.
Merethist snuggled down and was about to close his eyes when his tattoo blinked erratically and his sensitive hearing picked up jay's cry. He frowned and looked around.
"ay?"

Raven sat up and almost stared at him. Either she wasn't keeping a tight rein on her own memories, or...She wasn't sure what else but maternal instincts led her to pulled him into her embrace.
"I know such nightmares...Every night, long before you and Asher and everyone else came into my life, I use to wake up from such scenes."

Asher turned to Merethist as he said Jay's name. He had tuned his hearing down to a normal human's but he caught that. "Merethist?" He said softly.

Merethist's eyes went cloudy as he tuned onto Jay's emotional wavelength, he continued to stare ahead of himself, a neutral look on his face as he whispered Jay's name again.
"no happy?"
Jay clung onto Raven, scared terribly for the first time in years. He shut his eyes and let himself be calmed by Raven's sent and touch.
"they aren't nice, why..did I have such a dream?" he asked in a whisper, drifting off to sleep again, but not before he had kissed Raven on the cheek.

Asher snuggled with Merethist. "Raven's with him..." he said softly, though he was worried. "Let's try to sleep and we can find out in the morning, oui?"
Raven continued to hold him, running her hand through his hair. For her, it was one thing for her to have nightmares of everyone bloodied and dead.....but it was another if her loved ones had it
Asher thought about something then carefully took something wrapped from under his matress. "I'll be back," he said softly and floated out of the room to Jay and Raven's.
Raven glanced up, curiousty in her eyes. Asher put a finger to his lips and slipped the item under the matress. "What is it?" She asked. "A cross....something my kind of vampire use occassionally to ward of nightmares."
Raven smiled as he left for the door. "Wait," she said. "When did you get home?" Asher glanced back. "Just 10 minutes ago." He said and left for his room again, cuddling up with Merethist.

Jay slept well into the next afternoon, to the point where it was late and nearing the time when Asher usually awoke. Merethist had been up for a good few hours and sat in his drawer/bed watching over his owner as he slept peacefuly.

Asher stirred but felt like your average teenager in waking up too early. He left the bedroom to go downstairs.
Raven had stayed put, wanting to be around when Jay woke up. It hadn't taken long until she had fallen asleep after Asher's visit.

Jay turned onto his side, facing away from Raven and clutched the cover to him, tugging it closer.
"koe.." was all he mumbled before falling silent again, Merethist let a sigh out and continued watching his owner.

Raven chuckled softly before becomming quiet. She wanted to stay put but hunger was starting to get to her. She looked to Merethist. "Shall we get something to eat?"

Merethist nodded slowly and floated over to Raven, taking one of her larger hands with his own smaller one. He cast a look back to Jay, worried that the blonde had slept so long. Jay was always up in the early morning and went for a run before anyone else arose.
