He nodded slightly, moving back up to the feline's shoulders. "Okay.." He murmured, still blushing. He did kind of want to dance for Coen, but part of him didn't want to... What if he messed up, or what if he was really bad.. or what if Coen hated it? His ears twitched back a bit as he thought on these things, but continued the lion's massage.

Coen listened to the silence for a moment then smiled and said, "Don't think too much about it. That's what'll trip you up if anything: over-thinking. I'm sure if you just dance without thought, like you do when you're alone, you'll be fine." Wow, words of wisdom from a pervert. Who knew he was so deep?

He blushed more, listening to the lion's comments. "I'm sure that would be better than over-thinking things, but I can't help but over-think things.. When I'm not one hundred percent sure of something, I started thinking about it, then I get nervous, then I think about it more, then I get more nervous.." He trailed off, his ears backwards, but he continued giving Coen one of his magic massages, not even thinking about it, his mind too wrapped up in how bad he thought his dancing was.

"And that's your problem, Mousie. You think about it too much. You need to learn to just let it all go, clear your mind as it were," he explained, gently pulling away from Jazz's fingers and getting to his feet so he could walk around to the other side of the chair and hug the mouse. "Maybe this'll help you some," Coen said softly, bending to give the smaller hybrid a quick kiss on the lips.

((Effing gaia timed me out. @____@ *retypes post*))
His fingers slipped off the lions shoulders and he was brought back to reality as Coen stood up. He tilted his head slightly, wondering what he was doing, but simply watched him without asking anything. He wrapped his arms around the lion when he was hugged, and he opened his mouth to ask him what was wrong, when their lips met instead. He froze, not expecting that at all, and began blushing furiously. However, it ended much too soon in Jazz's opinion, and he buried his reddened face into the lion's chest. He peeked up at him shyly, trying to find the right words. "Why did you kiss me like that...?" It wasn't that he didn't enjoy it, he did. He actually wanted more, but he wasn't about to ask.

Coen smiled, gently poking at one of Jazz's red-tinged cheeks. "Unexpected kisses make great distractions," he explained. Then he blushed and added, "Plus I've been wanting to do that for a while now. It's hard to resist you, Mousie."

Jazz blushed more, if it was possible, peeking up at the lion shyly. "Yes, I suppose they do..." He had to admit, it was very distracting, but very nice... "What do you mean I'm hard to resist?" He asked, looking up at Coen more now, his blush fading a little. Only slightly.

Now it was Coen's turn to become shy. Shuffling his feet, the big lion tried to avoid making eye contact but, being so tall, when he looked down, it was right into Jazz's eyes. "Umm...well..You're really attractive, Mousie. Everything about you is so cute and heartwarming.." He paused for a second to smile sheepishly then added, "And I like you, alot."

He watched the lion's curious and nervous behavior, ears perked up, but his blush deepened tenfold while Coen spoke. After his last statement, he pressed his face into the lion's broad chest, wondering if he was able to blush anymore. But, what should he say to him? He opened his mouth to speak, but didn't know what to say. "I like you a lot too," he squeaked out, after a few silent moments of thinking, his face still pressed into Coen's chest.

Coen let out a soft little giggle, smiling at how cute Jazz sounded with his voice all squeaky like that. Then he started to idly toy with the mouse's long curly hair, wrapping a strand around his right index finger and letting it spring loose then repeating the process over again. "Are you blushing? I can feel the heat radiating off your face," he commented idly, a bit of a purr in his voice.

The shy little mouse couldn't help but smile; he liked it very much when Coen played with his hair. It felt really nice.. "Maybe I am," he teased with a giggle, wrapping his arms around the bigger hybrid. "But I can't help it; no one's ever said anything like that to me before." His persistant blush lingered on his cheeks, and he peeked up at the lion shyly. He didn't say anything; there wasn't anything he could think of to say at the moment. Instead, he thought about something for a few idle moments, before he stood up on his tip-toes to reach Coen's face to place a quick kiss on the other's lips.

Coen was shocked by that bit of news. It just didn't seem right. Jazz should have guys all around him, tripping over themselves in their attempts to get closer to him. Before he could open his mouth and say as much, he felt the mouse shift and the next thing he knew, his lips were pressed to the smaller hybrid's. At first he was so surprised he just opened his eyes wide and stood there, dumbfounded, but then something clicked and he hugged Jazz close while he kissed him back.

He had no idea why he did that; he wasn't thinking about kissing the lion, he was thinking about dancing. He certainly didn't regret kissing him; if he had been thinking about it, he wouldn't have done it. Then, another thought struck him: Coen was right. The more he thought about things, the more nervous he became, and the less likely he was to do something. He really needed to think less. So, he figuratively turned his brain off for the moment and slid his arms up, wrapping them around the lion's neck, and continued their sweet kiss.

The big, scary lion smiled into the kiss, his tail swishing from side to side. He bent slightly to make it easier for the mouse to reach but when he realized that wasn't helping very much, he gave Jazz a boost then crossed his arms under the rodent's bottom, holding him there while they kissed.

Jazz's tail was spazzing; flicking, twitching, twisting into swirls and curls, unable to hold still. He hardly noticed as the lion bent down a bit, but squeaked into the kiss as the strong arms crossed under his bottom, not expecting that at all. Beyond that it didn't bother him, he simply held onto Coen a bit tighter, and gently placed a small hand on the lion's cheek, thoroughly enjoying himself.
