Part One: Spin the Bottle

Theresa sighed heavily, perched on a rock on one side of the clearing, watching the (Ninety percent male) other sleep over attendants fuss over things, argue about food and where people were sleeping, and complain about sticks and pebbles on the ground. A sleep over. On Pegsaus' island (well, one of them). Who's bright idea was this, and why the HELL did she bother coming?

"Hey lover," Mariku purred into her ear seductively, draping himself over the teen's shoulders and nuzzling her cheek. "You're looking radiant tonight <3."

Oh yes. That's why.

"Can it, Mariku," she said, lips twisting into a much missed grin. She peeled his arms off of her, and dropped them to the side like discarded band-aids on found on the beach. "I know it's you," she added, turning to smile at him. He gave her those puppy eyes. As usual, they had more of a 'what knife..? Blood, huh..? No, I've just been watching TV' look, than actual innocence. The pout didn't make it too much better.

"Awww, you're no fun. I can't play games with you for two minutes?" the Egyptian asked, almost pleadingly. T-Chan shook her head firmly, unable to quell the grin.

"No way, Mariku. Next thing I know you'll be molesting me, and haunting my sleep," she countered. The Shadow was about to object, when they were interrupted by a ruckus yell.

"'EY! I'M BORED!" was Jounocuhi's lively and informative announcement to those present. Bandit Keith, and a certain teenage CEO (not the one from season four, by the way) gave him a very much deserved glare.

"Well, okay, why don't we play a game?" Yugi suggested logically, in that cute little squeak of a voice of his. Those assembled naturally migrated to the sound of something actually happening.

"Like what?" Anzu asked in a bitter-sweet voice. She was stuck next to Mai. She wasn't looking forward to this evening.

"Erm.. Duel Monsters?" Jou suggested, scratching his chin and trying to think.

Bandit Keith snorted in contempt. "You've got to be kidding me. Don't you dweebs know anything else?"

"We could play throw the dart at the mutt," Seto suggested with a snide smirk. Jounocuhi growled, not exactly ruling himself out as said mutt.

"Russian Roulette," Bakura suggested in a bored tone, examining his finger nails. Someone asked what that was, as Ryou hammered his elbow into the Thief King's side. "Ow! Host!" Bakura snapped irritably.

"Behave," Ryou hissed. His dark simply shrugged in response, opting to clean his nails with a previously well concealed dagger.

"How about spin the bottle," Mariku chimed, grinning from ear to ear. Several people spluttered at the idea of being in a situation with even a chance of being stuck kissing Mariku. Malik shot him a murderous glare.

"Why the hell would we want to play that?" Malik asked venomously. Rishid behind him looked a bit annoyed, really, like he wished he were anywhere else.

"Well, for you, because you'd get to watch people both cringe in horror, and pretend they're appalled when they aren't. A good time to learn some more acting techniques." Mariku said, more or less dodging the actual question. "Besides, we can't be complete geeks. How many of you have ever even been to a party?" After a slight pause, the egyptian added "And fancy shindigs with old people and wines of unpronounceable names don't count, Kaiba-Chan."

The glare was murderous. Many people decided they liked Mariku a bit more than they had thought they did.

"Well, it might be all right..," Jou murmured finally, eyeing Mai. Yugi snickered, nudging him to alert his friend how obvious his look was, and chiming in agreement.

Keith Howard the mighty decided he wasn't playing, and excused himself to go do something less American.

After a bit of fuss of finding a way to spin the bottle on grass (and trying to figure out why Bakura had a bottle of vodka on him, or where the vodka went in between him showing them it, and setting it down, without getting murdered), everyone was sitting to play the game. At least, who were going to.

"Come on, Rishid, you play too," Malik pleaded in a soft whisper, tugging on his brother's arm from his position on the ground. "It'll be fun."

"Master Malik, I really don't.."

"Oh, please..."

Rishid sighed. "Fine. As you wish," he replied, sitting down next to the younger Egyptian.

"Mariku, this really isn't good for my virgin lips," T-Chan whispered worriedly to her friend. He snickered, shoving her playfully,

"Don't lie, T-Chan. You know me, and I know everything," he purred, watching as the first round went with almost too much amusement.

The match ups were understandably ridiculous. By the instance of many, men kissing men was ruled as allowable and not reason for a respin. Eventually, someone noticed Rishid was playing, remarked on how strange that was. The agreement to that quickly escalated to the point where almost the entire group had decided it was his turn to spin the bottle.

Malik Ishtar racked up a lot more curses on his life to the gods that evening.

When the bottle finally stopped, T-Chan spluttered incoherently, and fell over backward.

"Oooooooooo, hawt~" Mariku cooed.

The group practically had to drag her over (Rishid wasn't moving for this). It lasted all of a second. Lip to lip, and he sat back down.

"Are you amused yet, Master Malik?" he asked dryly. Malik nodded, grinning.

"I didn't know anyone could turn so red..," he said, pleased by the dazed and incoherent muttering T-Chan was spewing. Mariku snickered, leading her back to her seat.

"Awww... You like him or something..?"

T-Chan managed something between a yelp and a curse, that Mariku eventually translated as "Creepy!" He laughed.

"You're funny, T-Chan."

"I-I'm.. going to go hide.. Eat pocky, read manga.. You know, T-Chan things..," she said hurriedly, pulling away. Mariku decided not to mention how she rarely did any of those, and returned to the game.
