Does a lot of reading turn you off from roleplaying? |
Yes, I don't feel like reading a whole story before I can get the idea of what the Rp is about. |

((Wow, sorry I've been gone for so long. ^^;; I knew I was forgetting something in this guild... anyways, I'm going home tomoroow and my classes start up again the day after but I'll at least have a decent internet connection and I'll be able to post more often. *huggles Mie just for good measure* And *huggles Immortal for the upcoming x-mas pics* Oh right, and Happy belated Holidays and Happy upcoming New Year!!))
Allumen walked into the cafeteria after getting a few things situated in his room. Not that he had many things, or much organization to do. He was simply procrastinating as much as possible in order to avoid the inevitable reunion with the other boys. Though he really wasn't hungry, didn't want to be in the crowded room, and would have rather slunk away unnoticed or simply not have shown up in the first place, he held his head high and took a good look around. He'd seen it before though and soon lost interest before picking up a slice of pizza and choosing a corner to sink into. He noticed Orhpeus and Seamus were missing and wondered if maybe it would have been alright to have simply not shown up. He wondered vaguely who the new kid was (Kindred) before slipping into his own little world and blocking out everything else.
((Heh, in a different one on one rp I created a chara that would prolly just fit right in here. xD I mean, with a nickname like 'Bunny', who knows what could happen...))

Rules for New people joining & OOC Clean Up!
Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone had a good year to put behind them and a happy start for the new.
Anyways, I've had a lot of new people requesting to join the roleplay and I'm going to post a note on the front of the page that I will not be accepting new members after this week and I will note the roleplay as 'full'. As for the people who have already sent in character sheets, I'll explain to them that this is a fast paced roleplay and I'm only going to be accepting dedicated members. Also, I will lay out guide lines for the new members so that they are not awkwardly thrown into the roleplay. I'll have that post up on the first page attached to the rules tomorow.
As for the OOC. I mentioned my OCD about OOC and so (XD) I want everyone to go through (when they have time) and just delete all of the old OOC posts that are no longer needed. I'm also going to talk to Mie about making a second thread just for OOC chatting and artwork display if she doesn't mind me taking up the space.
Also, I reminder for all of the original cast, the next 'event' that the boys are going to be thrown into will be a 10 mile horseback riding trip up to a campsite. XD So, I'll let all of you brainstorm a bit about how you want your character react and also PM me if you have any suggestions about... well... anything. After everyone is done with their pizza and chatting, Abby's going to send everyone back to their rooms to snuggle up together (XD I wish) and then the next day she'll announce the trip. Sound good? We still have plenty of time to work on this idea because we all know boys love pizza.
*hugs for all*
- Iah

((Organised people *coughIahcough* make me feel like a slob. O:
Which isn't surprising because I am a slob. xD;;;
Iah, go ahead and take up all the space you need (within reason). One of the reasons this guild is such a mess is because I'm not officially captain or vise (because BBC got damnated off Gaia), so I can't do much in the ways of organization.
And with the note about new people... I'm starting the think I should put up some new RPs n' stuff... just to, you know, get the guild... running. I'm also thinking of locking up some of the older/unused RPs just because... all those unused pages annoy me. xD;;; ))

Tristan, who had been silently reducing the number of slices left in the pizza box, caught sight of Liam's glance and seemed to straighten up abit. He leaned an elbow on the table and rested his head against his hand, looking at the group. While he had been eating, he had not been paying much attention. All he knew was that Aiden now seemed tense and the 'sleepy boy' was once again passed out and had been dragged back to his room.
"It's stress." Tristan said indifferently to Liam as he tilted his head and let his neck crack.
"You could probably eat anything you wanted to...." He continued as he thought about it. ".....but it's your nerves that make you sick and you probably don't even realize whats causing it so there's little you can do to stop it." He pulled his head off of his hand and then shrugged his shoulders. "A lot of people are like that. It's nothing to be embarrassed about." He said casually and then yawned, his blue eyes half closed and gentle for the moment.
Eyeing the last slice of pizza in the box, a smirk lifted his lips and he reached over Aiden, looming over the boy as he stole the last slice out of the box and sat down triumphantly slightly closer to the group. He folded the slice in half and took a bite before looking around at the rest of the group, a sheepish smile replacing the smirk.
"Nobody wanted that, right?" He asked teasingly as he held up the slice of pizza that was disfigured from the giant bite that had been taken out.

Kindred ate and watched the boys. Liam somewhat awkardly explained why he wasn't hungry. Another boy who had come over to 'the group' interjected why Liam wasn't hungry and some other stuff. Kindred listened and then watched as he took the last slice, The boy looked down at his plate and saw that his slices were almost gone but decided not to argue, even playfully. God knows, the kid might be a pyschopath,
The looming question in his head as to why everyone was here came to Kindred again. He wanted to ask but knew that the question would be turned right back at him. Instead he took another bite of his pizza. He chewed, swallowed and then coughed loudly, deciding he wanted to say something. Mid-cough he changed his mind but it was too late now. "So..." he stammered. "Did I... miss anything major in that meeting thing you guys were having?"

“Yeah, maybe...” Liam mumbled noncommittally to Tristan. He had heard it before, though only from his family’s kitchen staff. Whenever it was brought up to his mother, however, she brushed the idea aside and told them to make what he wanted. After all, she was known to say, it was just a -stage- he was going through. Nobody really thought anything of it. He was, however, happy that Tristan didn’t think he was anorexic, like many people assumed when they found out that he was so selective about what he ate.
Kindred’s question came at a good time for Liam, and he glanced towards him before he realized that he didn’t possess the eloquence to explain what had been talked about without sounding offensive to the other boys - which wasn’t something he wanted to do. “Well, we just talked about why we were here, is all. The whole, um... ‘My name is Liam and I’m a disappointment to society’ routine.” That seemed like a good enough way to put it, but it was a depressing topic, and everything had started to get so nice. “I suppose everything was a variation thereof, but um, I guess that’s just my opinion. Not that I think that everyone here is, because I don’t. I just think that was pretty much the gist of our session, and the reasons why everyone is here...” as he spoke, he grew more and more nervous, and his words grew quicker, less stable. “I think... I think I should go get some air...” He finished his stammering, then wiped a damp palm across his face.

Aiden's (temporarily) depressed mood was snapped as Tristan reached over him for the last slice. A small pout formed on his lips as he turned to the other - just as he took a very large bite out of the slice - and he crossed his arms in front of him. "Hey, I was gonna eat that," he said with his best impression of childish disaproval.
He stared up at the other for a moment, still trying to feign unhappiness, before a small grin cracked onto his lips. "Ehh, jus' kidding. It's okay... although I really was gonna eat it. Eventually. Maybe." He shrugged and settled back down into his seat, eyes lingering on Tristan for a moment before snapping onto Kindred and Liam.
"Ehhh... yeah. Mr. Twitchy here basically's got the right idea, although he did leave of a very important detail: we chose what kind of pizza we'd order." Of course, compared to the seriousness of everything else, this was the least important thing - and Aiden knew it. He just felt that the jittery boy needed a break from being so... jittery.

Tristan narrowed his eyes slightly as Aiden when the pink haired boy pipped up about wanting the pizza. His gaze was semi-challenging and the smirk once again returned to his lips as he took the pizza and quickly shoved the piece into the boy's mouth upon his last word of the sentence.
After he let go of his claim to the last pizza slice, Tristan turned his attention to Liam. One eyebrow quirked in concern as he asked "Are you alright?" He wondered silently about why Liam seemed so... high strung. Liam hadn't even been picked on like Aiden had. Despite his occasional mood swings from nearly unreadable to quite sarcastic, Tristan was normally a person of good spirits. The only people he really had a problem with were 'big shots' like Justin who acted as though they were better than everyone else.
Tristan's gaze found Kindred and he then shifted in his seat slightly so he could face the other boy and extend a hand casually. "I'm sorry I havn't introduced myself. It's been a long day. I'm Tristan." He paused, his blue eyes tired, but friendly. "Kindred, right?"

Kindred watched Liam with mild curiosity and concern. The kid reminded him of a chiuaua; jumpy and nervous. The hungry kid with the pink hair added on to what Liam had said about the meeting. Kindred nodded but didn't say anything. He looked down at his pizza and took a moment before deciding to eat it.
His head snapped back up at his name being spoken by an unfamilar voice. His eyes darted a bit before landing on the out stretched hand. Hastily Kindred put his pizza down and wiped his hands on his pant legs. "Yeah." he said. "I'm Kindred." he said, swallowing the mouthful of pizza quickly.

“Oh, that’s right,” Liam pointed at Aiden after he finished his comment about ordering the pizza, making it very clear that he didn’t quite understand that it was a joke. “I, I, I forgot about that. I guess I sort of ignored it, sorry.” Of course he hadn’t paid attention to it, it didn’t really affect him in any way. He meant to address the name that Aiden had called him, but forgot about it, looking over to Tristan as he was addressed. “Huh? Oh, yeah, I’m okay... I’m okay.”
The truth was, Liam was not in fact ‘okay’. He hadn’t been okay since the time he had arrived at the center, as he grew more and more paranoid by the day. The last thing he wanted was anyone finding out he was here - not that it was likely anyone would. “It’s just this place, it’s stressing me out.” He half expected there to be photographers waiting in the bushes, waiting for him to slip up so they could catch him in the act of whatever it was he was doing. Taking in a few long, deep breath, the boy closed his eyes, resting them for a moment as he tried to calm himself down with a mediation technique one of his old therapists had taught him. It didn’t seem to do him much good as his chair let out a long screech, signaling that he had climbed out of it and was now backing away. “Right, going outside. Air.”

Allumen watched the boys curiously. The kid Liam almost seemed to have turrets, except so far he hadn't blurted out anything embarrassing, he just seemed nervous. He decided to wait until the kid went outside. Perhaps he'd be calmer then, and Allumen wasn't fond of crowds himself. In his case, three was indeed a crowd. Then again, the kid might not make it that far. "Here..." He spoke up softly. "I'll walk you out." He took Liam's elbow gently, so as not to be pulling him around but also to lend a bit of support.
