Aki leaned back in a chair, staring blankly at the ceiling. She glanced at the clock on the wall... 30 minutes had already passed. She sighed lightly. Whatever he had gone to do, she assumed that it couldn't wait...
"It's fine." she said, stroking Nobilis' chest. "I can wait."

Suddenly, a small blue dragon flew in and landed in front of her. "Excuse me, Ryu is currently indisposed fighting. Please go home and await further news. Once again, i apologize for the inconvenience." He did a small bow, then took off.

Aki raised an eyebrow, but stood up.
"Eh, alright." she muttered. She gently picked up her mask, and stepped outside, gathering chakra to her feet for a quick run home.
Unlocking the door to the apartment, she stepped in, shutting the door quickly behind her. She sighed lightly, laying the mask upon the table. Nobilis flew off into a back room, where he settled amongst the branches of a fichus tree, crooning softly.

"Sasori, this is no time for you to try acting heroic for the sake of his capture" Zetsu said as he grabbed Sasori from the groud and pulled him underneath. Zetsu and Sasori dissappeared into the earth, leaving no trace except for bits and peices of Shrapnel from Hiroku's arm.

"Well, what to do now? I guess go back and report this. Kisuke should be fine on his own." The blood mist dissipated, and Ryu made his way straight to the Hokage's chamber. "Ma'am, urgent news."
"Come in. What is it?"
"It would seem that Ogami was taken by Akatsuki. Kisuke is currently following them." He knelt before her, blood slowly pooling.
"s**t, thats not good, but we have more pressing matters. We need to get you healed."
"No need. Go after them." Ryu got up, and began to walk out, but collapsed. He woke up a few hours later in the hospital. "Damn. Couldn't make it."
Meanwhile...
Kisuke was hot on the trail of the others.

"Itachi-san, we're being followed" Kisame said, pulling out Samehada from his back and turning around to face Kisuke.
"Kisame, theres no need to fight such a weakling, but do what you will, if he overpowers you, i'll have to interfere."
"agreed, Itachi-san."

"FOOL, He's already near the Border of the Fire country, our leader is waiting for them to bring Ogami to him" Kisame said, slamming Samehada against a tree and shaving the tree in half, breaking the bandages that surounded it. Kisame rushed at Kisuke, waving Samehada in hopes of hitting him.

"Very nice." Kisuke used his reach advantage and spun his naginata around, keeping Kisume from reaching him. "Well then, as long as i know who has him, then we can track them down."
Meanwhile, Ryu slipped out of the hospital and made his way to where Aki lived. He knocked on the door.

*Tiger* "Mizu Bunshin no jutsu (Water clone Jutsu)" a lfairly large group of clones appeared with Kisame and all of them rushed at Kisuke, eahc of them attacking from all sides.
"It seems this eprson may be too much for Kisame, i may have to step in" Itachi said, closing his eyes and focusing his chakra.

Saluk was found next to a river, outside Aki's apartment, under a tree. he was reading Make-Out Paradise and was giggling eroticly.

Ryu heard Saluk. "Saluk!! Akatsuki has taken Ogami. Kisuke is holding them off, but he can't fight them all. Lend him your assistance while I recuperate."
Kisuke smiled. "Glad I practice with Ryu-sensei." Kisuke seemed to swirl his naginata at blinding speed, twisting and turning to take care of the water clones.

Aki's eyebrow quirked, one hand holding a ceramic mug filled with tea. "Who could that be...?"
She made her way to her apartment door, easily opening it.
"Ryu! What the hell happened?" she choked, fully opening the door, "Come on in."
Nobilis fluttered in the other room, landing on the arm rest of a chair. His head tilted to the side, staring at Ryu intensely.

"Thank you, but I'll stand. I'm sorry to hold off on the training, but I came to tell you that I may not be back for a while. That mask proves you have the potential to be ANBU, you just need to prove it. That mask will stay as long as you are sure of yourself, but watch if it starts to crack. If it breaks, then you don't have what it takes, and you will have to wait." Ryu sighed. "That's all. Be seeing you." He turned to go, taking off his bandages as he went. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a friend to save." He smiled and took off, knowing he was disobeying a direct order, leaving his ANBU mask on ground where he was standing.

Aki started at his back, before reaching into her pouch.
"Eat this. I mean it this time." she said, tossing him one of her gels, "If you're going after Kisuke, you'll need it." A smile crossed her lips.
"The birds tell me things. Stay true to your path, and you can defeat the threat." she paused. "I'll be waiting when you return- I will have grown into a full-fledged shonobi worthy of the ANBU title.
"Enough sentimental statements... go save him."
