Richard Rider Man of Steel: Superman leaves Krypton as a fetus, born and raised on Earth. Birthright: Superman born on Krypton, raised on Earth. Birthright is less acknowledged as his origin than Man of Steel is, leading to confusion. is the official one, if only because that's the origin used by Loeb in Superman/Batman.

Loeb's a loony. He had Luthor inject himself with the very substance that caused his hand to go bad. Plus, Birthright wipes out any chance of explaining Superman Blue. If you look at the stuff that was based on Byrne's Superman, it makes sense, in a way. But this isn't the thread to be discussing this in. Kansas is where he learned to be the man he is today, and we claim him. And Wally and Jay. Missouri can keep Barry.
