Hi, I'm Ava, I'm 21 years old and I have a son who is just about to turn 2 and a husband (been married for almost 3 years) and all my closest friends are without children. Makes it a bit hard, but we all try to be understanding of each other's situations. We live in So.Cal and have 2 cats and that's about it. Hi all!

Hello!
I'm a 24-year-old mother of one in Texas, living with my husband and two cats. Our daughter just turned a year old on the 10th of this month, and is just getting the hang of cruising/inciting chaos and spreading madness. Her vocabulary consists of the words "kitty (keh'ee!)", "ducky ('cky)", "mom (mum)", "dad (dada-dada-dada-da...*infinity, and while pointing at him in a bouncy, giggly manner*)", and "outside (a'sigh! *while pointing at a window*)"
I primarily care for Rowie, and my husband sells new/used/refurbished musical equipment on eBay and to local musicians for prices well below anything else in town (he's got quite a fanbase because of it, and Rowie gets to make big, scary, pierced guys in mohawks melt and gibber in baby talk on a daily basis). As such, our house is full of music, and the kiddo's becoming quite the musical baby. Her favorite kind of music so far seems to be 80s-style new-wavey stuff (Killing Joke, Men Without Hats, Talking Heads), though she'll bob her head and kick her feet to anything. Death Metal, Country, Classical, Punk Rock. It doesn't matter - if she chooses to recognize it as music, she enjoys it. Her dad plays guitar and bass for her regularly, and plans on teaching her the moment she develops the capacity to learn it.
As for myself, I'm a Linux fanatic, a coffee addict, an artichoke addict (yes, you can get addicted to artichokes), I love sleep on the rare instances that I can get it, and, above all, I like to scribble. I've got a DeviantArt gallery under the username Fizzstickle, though I haven't submitted anything in over a year (well, except for baby pictures. I submit a few of those now and again to my scraps to keep my friends updated on the progress of our future ruler of Earth).
Annd... that's about it, I guess. Contained within our house is a giddy, swirling vortex of attention deficit disorder, chaos, and cute fuzzy havoc, so, if any of it does happen to come through in my posts...
...erm.
Hit it with a hammer. Because it shouldn't. Bad vortex, bad!

Hi,
My name is Corinne and I am 42. I am married going on 15 years now. We have 2 children : a girl who is 10 and a boy who is 8. We are Canadians and live in Maple Ridge British Columbia. My daughter is on Gaia and dared me to join. I'm having alot of fun with it. It's nice to find out I may not be the oldest person on here and that their are Gaiaians with children. Hence I joined this guild.
I enjoy lots of different pastimes such as reading avidly:mysteries, fantasy,fiction, non-fiction etc... Movies: love LOTR. Swimming with the kids. My kids are avidly into Tae Kwon Do, Dance, Music so I spend alot of my life running them hither and yon.
I am an R.N. and work at our local hospital in the Emergency Dept. Very stressful at times but I love it. Our home life can be stressful too as my son has severe ADHD and mild Autism. He is a very special guy but requires alot of attention and care...
Anyway, just a brief introduction and I hope to chat with all of you. By the way I love the band Greenday as you can tell from my sig.

Hiya! I am 24 years old with a very energetic 2-year-old boy! He just turned two in August and I heart every moment of being a mother. I am lucky and get to stay at home with him. I have been married almost 3 years (October). I live in the Dallas, TX area and looking to go to school once angel turns 3. Major trust issues with anyone watching him, sweatdrop hehe! Also the fact that my angel is a true boy, strong as can be and sometimes, most the times to rough! I am the oldest in my family there for producing the first grandchild as well as great-grandchild, and lastly great-great grandchild. Look forward to chatting with everyone! smile

Hi I'm Robin an, um, *older mom*. I have 2 kids, 12 and 15, both on Gaia. The 15yo is a *founding member* and considered quite active and an old hand at this. my name is Elizabeth. i'm a younger soon to be mom, i'm only 19. i was recently married (sept 3). we are expecting a little boy whos name will be Ean Jakob. i am very willing to accept any and all advice on what to expect.

My name is Catherine. I'm 19 years old almost 20. I'm proud to say that i have a boy. heart I'm a part time homemaker and a part time college student. I live here in Colorado near the desert areas, but still quite nice. ^^
