She grined. That would be a fun think to learn how to do. Expically if she could figure out how to turn water colors. She could only imagin the look on Demyx's face if he woke up to rainbow colored fountains

Kaleb smiled back, pleased he had someone to talk to about magic, and someone to teach. He was sure if Nonet was determined to learn magic of her own, he would also have someone to teach him new things.
Suddenly a thought hit him, and he conjured up a small globe of light that was just the right size to fit in the palm of his hand. "Do you think your brother would enjoy a glowing ball until we can figure out a spell for the colour?"

She looked at the glowing ball as it appeared. It was almost like the little balls that floated in the lanturns at the castle, only it looked neater cause she knew it hadnt been there before.
"He'd like it ... he likes to poke at the lanturs at the castle." Then again she'd like it too. With a little ball of fire that wasnt fire she could read in the darker parts of the libary without having to bring a flashlight

Kaleb grinned. "I like to use that spell for reading outside in the evenings, a simple adjustment will let it float in one place so I don't have to hold it." Since the mechanism for the glow involved converting ambient heat into light, holding them too long often made his hands cold, and he always had the worst time getting warm again.

"That's neat ... if you could stick one of thoes in a lanturn and if it could keep going by itself it would make a really cool thing." She'd have to see if she could get one of the light globes from the lights at the castle and make a lanturn for herself.

Kaleb grinned. "They are pretty neat. We were taught that spell early in our training, to get better at maintaining spells for a long time. This one won't fade even if I'm not around, it's adjusted to get it's energy from the environment, and not from me."

"So its self sustaning .... i bet that's how they make the lights around the Castle. Though i wonder who made them" she didnt know of any of the black coated ones who had powers like that but if it was something that was easily learned then maybe they could all do it

"I wonder if they are different from mine." Kaleb said quietly to himself. Although there were a couple standard ways for producing self-sustaining spells, many mages had their own techniques and preferences. He grinned at Nonet. "Do you think there are many other magical objects at your castle?"

"Probably. I think Luxord said he remembered someone, that used to be really intrested in science stuff and whatnot. But he's not aorund anymore so i dont know where his stuff is."

Kaleb frowned a bit. "It could be dangerous to go looking around such a place if you did find his stuff," he said quietly. "Most mages I know ward their work very carefully, especially if they are leaving it for a period of time."

"Yea .... its probably a good thing that no one know's where it all is." She couldnt remember the scientists name but she knew that there had been one at some point

Kaleb definitely agreed, some things were better left undiscovered. "There's a lot of that castle you haven't explored yet, isn't there?" He asked, still trying to imagine how big the castle must be to have so much still unexplored.

"Yea. Then again i havent had much of a urge to explore the place either." Vivace probably had, it wouldnt suprise her if he had.
"I kinda stick to the libary and the hallway where my parent's rooms are"

Kaleb looked rather awed, he could never imagine living in a place so large as to have it's own library. Sure he had lived at the magical institute while receiving his training, and it had a library, but his own living quarters were limited to a very small room with just enough furniture to sleep and study.
"If my apartment had a library, I probably wouldn't explore very far either," he said with a smile.

"Yea, its nice. The libary is huge too ... took me like half an hour to find the books i wanted." That was mostly because she didnt know the passwards for the computers to get into the files to find the coding system.
