Rin followed along behind Long, slipping through the door before it managed to shut on her, and then looked around. She had seen Genbu before, so at least she knew who she was looking for and it wasn't some mystery person. That would've made her even more nervous. But, for now her expression was set in stone, a slight frown with not a hint of her uneasiness showing through.

Her bright eyes darted between various people, until she caught the movement of Genbu's hand waving them over. She still just followed behing Long, slightly to the side so it wouldn't seem like she was hiding behind him. She remained silent too, since Genbu had directly asked Long, and not herself.

The training hall itself was pretty nervewracking, since the last time she'd been here was when she'd met Long, but also had been one of more recent times the spirit had taken over. And, it was still angry at her, waiting for a chance to take over again. Hopefully she'd be able to supress it still.

((sorry about the delay))

"No need to worry about that...Genbu this is Rin, please teach her well brother..." Long said moving out of the way and allowing him to observe her. He then took a couple steps into a training room, only to pop his head back in, "I'll be in this room until the session is over...Genbu, be nice... Rin, be sure to speak up..." Long said as he pulled his head back and walked into the room to only be accompanied with the door shutting. This pretty much meant that no response would be given to him. Long turned and waved to Rin with his pale face not smiling from the large view window next to the door to assure her nothing was going to be bad about this in any way, but in the process provide some emotional support. He, at the same time was pulled by some robotic arm to begin random training.

"Nice to meet you again Rin, although we have never been formally introduced, I believe we've met before...." as he introduced himself holding his hand out to shake with her, "I must apologize from last time, but you know duty calls, and well I'm off work today," Genbu said as he waited patiently. Genbu was completely different from before, instead of sound rather like a ravenous demon like before, he sounded like a professional doctor. He lightly smirked under his sunglasses, which were pitch black and did not reveal his eyes. One, was because he was up late, and two, he didn't want his presence known on Mirandal's soil.

[It's fine. I had basketball, then went out to eat, then played DDR. >>;;]

Rin stared after Long, tempted to continue trailing along behind him like normal, but making herself stand still instead. She just watched, head turning around to follow his progress out of the room. Speak up? She frowned slightly at that, but otherwise ignored it, just watching him disappear into a different room, with one last glance and wave.

And then he was gone, and she turned around to face Genbu again. She would've had time to be nervous, if he hadn't spoken up so quickly. To be honest, she was taken aback. He seemed completely different, and he sounded slightly like he knew it as well. "...of course," she replied, accepting his hand in a shake.

"Well, then if we can begin, let's just take a seat right here," Genbu said taking himself off the bench and sitting down on the floor. He wanted Rin to sit across from him, "Just take a plain seat anywhere," He spoke as he then awaited for Rin to sit down.

"Take some breathers, and don't let anything around you distract you, even me, complete and utter focus is what you need toda-...Hey! nice shoes, Long has a similar pair," Genbu cut-off. This was part of the test, althought it seemed like Genbu was getting off task and carried away with little things. He, in fact, had some idea of how she was gonna help her. He then used his fluctuating aura readings to see around Rin. Her aura at the moment was calm, but slight tints of black doubt remained, he smiled lightly and knew that Basahara was the contibuting factor in eliminating the majority of the doubt, which was in fact, difficult yet amazing depending on how long he was working with this girl.

Hesitating only for a moment, Rin gave a short nod and then sat herself down right where she stood, which was across from Genbu. Then she waited, as patiently as she could, for what to do next. When she was told, she simply frowned, the expression slipping into slight confusion a second later.

She glanced down to her shoes as well, and shrugged her shoulders. "Um, thank you," she mumbled, soon returning her gaze to his face. "What were we doing...?" she began, and trailed off as she realized something. Breathing, and ignoring distractions, even him. That's what he'd said... Was she supposed to have ignored the shoe comment? Well.. too late for that.

"Okay so, you must be that type that doesn't catch on quick... Remember what I said earlier about ignoring everything and paying attention to the real questions and ignoring the unnecessary questions," Genbu said stroking his chin several times, "Rin, is there someone or something you hate?" Genbu said moving onto another subject. He waited patiently for Rin's answer.

"On top of that...Are you annoyed by Long sometimes?" Genbu quickly asked after asking Rin the previous question. He was being rather challenging the way he kept asking questions upon questions and expecting Rin to answer the one that counts. Genbu was definetly planning from a series of techniques. This was then followed by his last question, "Do you think you have the nerve to hit Long?" Genbu asked as he cupped his hands in meditation.

"Or...better yet...Are you always wondering what's going on in his head?" Genbu said as he continued challenging Rin.

Rin frowned, shooting him a quick glare. She had caught on... However, she'd been a little late. It was too much of a habit to reply when she was asked something, or when someone spoke to her. She was expected not to ignore people back home, so it was hard to learn to. Though, she supposed it wouldn't be too hard, if she really tried.

She blinked at the sudden question, and shifted slightly in place so she was sitting Indian style, with her hands grabbing her legs just above the ankle. For a moment she hesitated, not sure if she should reply, or if he'd scold her for doing so again. Ok, seperate important from nonimportant...

She frowned, then slowly opened her mouth. "Of course there are people I hate," she spat, voice suddenly very cold. "And things." She frowned to herself, watching the floor almost without blinking. "I don't want to hit him, but I do wonder," she added, still in the harsh tone, almost unable to help herself. "And everyone's annoying at some point in time."

Just by asking if she hated someone, got her thinking about those she did, which somehow instantly got her into a rather foul mood. They were the type of people who pissed her off just by thinking about them, and there were quite a few of them too, but two main ones in specific.

"Hehe, so we have the almost the same opinion about him..." Genbu recommented. He thought for a moment in particular, "Just what is it and why is it that you hate about those people and those things?" Genbu asked once again. He figured for the moment, she did have some hatred for people, and things, which had him think on it a bit more.

He solemnly sat up and blinked several times, "Good, now that we're on the same idea, you can at least distinguish between a right place and a right time for everything, and in another idea, I don't know what he thinks either, but if he's willing to provide his services to you that's pretty rare that he would just up and come with someone, but anyways, he filled me in on that pendant, and explained the whole thing to me to help you out, and so answer the question..." Genbu spoke up understandingly.

-----------------------------------------
It was a while before Long appeared at the window to wave at Rin, but apparently was pulled back by the robotic arm that was forcing workouts on him. Long could clearly be seen like a cartoon in which someone was dragging a person away and their hands scratched out the surface of the floor or a wall. This was clearly implied as Long was gripping his nails on the thick window and leaving behind his catscratch on the breakproof glass. It also took the machine awhile to drag him off the window and back into the room.

Rin blinked, tearing her gaze from the floor and returning it to Genbu. She hesitated a moment after hearing the question, and thus gave him time to speak up a little more. So she kept silent and just listened, quietly wondering when Long had the time to tell him about her necklace. She resisted the urge to touch it, instead keeping her hands grasping her ankles.

After a short silence, she spoke up. "I hate that they try to control everything I do," she said with a frown. When Long had told her things to do, like participate in a food fight, and take part in a race, she hadn't felt like she was being forced to do so. With her mother and the spirit, she had no say in the matter, and had to do whatever they wished. Even now, she didn't mind doing what Genbu said all that much because she kind of wanted to be here, and was doing it willingly.

Her expression changed to curiousity for a second, as she thought about something. So it was odd for Long to help someone like he was? She'd gotten that impression when they'd first met, and he'd made it clear that he wasn't helping her. But now, it was fairly obvious that he was. Otherwise he wouldn't have stuck with her this long, and gotten her a.. session with Genbu.

Her head turned for a moment, hearing something at the window. She saw Long, nails scraping against wood as a robotic arm tried to pull him back into a room. For a moment she looked shocked, and then quickly turned her head away, a bit of laughter threatening to flood out. She clamped her hand over her mouth, head bowed to the floor. Oh man.. that looked really funny.

Genbu turned his head back slightly looking at Long being dragged as he smiled weakly in concern. Apparently, Long was occupied with the machine and Genbu was already in the service of talking to Rin. He turned his head to look and observe Rin with fierce eyes seeing that someone with her mindset was too strict or strict to laugh, but in fact it was an oddity, he figured someone like Long could only make her laugh. He turned his attention back to Rin, "Rin...does Long make you laugh or smile, or does he make you mad and confused?" Genbu asked out of curiousity, "Please answer with either or both..." .

He was careful with his questions and thinking now. A girl like Rin couldn't possibly be friends with someone like Long unless it were the truth about them being friends. And apparently, Long was literally, like no other person he or anyone else has met. It was just too contradicting in characters. He finally breached a thought that Long had already done the job of providing Rin with confidence well-enough for her to do, but he was to teach Rin to fight, which was the last thing to do.

"Rin...If I told you to go up to Long RIGHT now...Would you do it?" Genbu asked before he was taken aback by asking the wrong question, "Sorry allow me to reword that... If you had no choice of getting that necklace off except hitting or harming Long...Would you do it? I can tell that he might just be your first friend if you have let a guy like that hang around with you or carry you from that one time we met," Genbu pointed at a struggling Long in a room as several dozen robotic arms were now trying to pull Long onto a push-up platform.

"Sometimes...Sacrifices have to be made Rin...either way, if you choose not to confront it, it could be bad..." Genbu said in an almost allusion to Long's first idea of how Rin would face conflict and at the same time almost sound like Long had to use something bad to produce good, "I know Long has probably asked you something similar to that...and his teachings and mine usually make a come around to the beginning in which it started... So, what will your choice be? Harm him for your well being or let yourself suffer because of him?" Genbu asked once more, this time, almost making Long sound like a villain.

Rin managed to choke back her laughter, and after taking a calming breath, she straighted again, hand joining her other one still around her ankles. The smile slipped away almost as if it'd never been there in the first place, as she allowed herself to grow serious again. Alright, no more distractions.

However, the next thing Genbu said cause her to return her attention right back to Long. So she blinked, then cast him another glance, this time blankly staring rather than bursting into laughter. Then she looked back to Genbu as he continued speaking.

She just remained silent at first, listening. Her eyes had widened the slightest bit, and this time her hand did come up, uncalled, to touch the necklace she wore. She didn't lift it though, her fingers just lightly brushing the surface of the main black gem.

He pointed towards Long again, and her head swiveled to face him, watching more robotic arms pulling him around. The urge to laugh, however, was completely gone. She stared fixedly at him as Genbu went on. Hurt Long, or hurt herself? She really... was having trouble coming up with a reply.

It was true he was her first friend. At least, she considered him a friend, and kind of hoped he felt the same. He was the first she'd allowed to stay around her for so long. Her gaze dropped to the floor as she sat there for a few seconds longer before finally speaking up. It wasn't a straightforward answer though. "I don't think I'd be able to hurt him," she said with a frown. "Like... literally." She'd thrown dirt and rocks at him, debris from a wall, watched him skid across the ground, and yet he'd always emerged unharmed.

"Well, that was a little unexpected..." Genbu spoke as he then sat up straight. Ok, so she had chosen to acknowledge that harming Long would be pointless. So he only concluded that Rin's personality wasn't just normal or her thinking wasnt normal. Not to mention the mentallity and instinct she possessed at this point, he came here to find a girl who needed tutoring, but in fact she had already been tutored.

"Rin, I don't think you needed my help at all, I mean if you know very well what you hate about that..." Genbu pointed at it with his index finger, " And what you want to get away from it, I believe... Long has already done my job for me".

It was hard to admit, Genbu was surprised that Long would only call him and have an appointment with him to try see if he was doing Genbu's own process right. On top of that, Rin was already in perfect harmony with Long's personality, and that she was already awakened in a matter of days.

"Just tell him you learned alot, and I want you tell him that so that he doesn't get lazy with teaching you..." Genbu said as he saw that Long emerged from the room with several pieces of metal over his shoulder and holding a robotic arm in his left hand.

"I hate machines....." Long said as he walked over. He only smile for a moment, "So, you guys look like your done," Long stated as he walked over to the bench by Rin and knelt on the bench seat witha slight crouch.

Rin just watched him quietly, not blinking as she waited for whatever would be said next. She wasn't expecting him to say she hadn't even needed him. So she stared at him for a moment in silence, and finally blinked a couple times. Her eyes flicked from his finger, towards the necklace, then returned to his face all very quickly.

"...oh," she frowned, slightly confused. They hadn't really done anything. He'd just asked her questions, and she'd replied. It was true that Long had done a lot of that already. She'd kind of expected Genbu to do something different. Wasn't she supposed to be taught how to fight, or something? ...oh well. She felt kind of dumb for letting herself become nervous though.

"I will," she replied, giving a slight nod of her head, then turned to face Long as he entered. A small hesitation, and then she nodded again. "Yes... I think we are." She glanced back towards Genbu, a little uncertain.

((srry havent resposted yet, but some stuff happened and well I will try to be on as possible))

"Good, now we can go off campus to do whatever we please..." Long smirked, "Did you learn anything?" Long asked out fo curiousity as he sat there crouched over, very much like a hawk watching Rin and Genbu. He looked over at Rin, nothing seemed different about her, except she was sitting big chief pow-wow style. He assumed she must've picked up on something, maybe something Genbu didn't teach Long. He somehow had a gut feeling this would have him bothered about the day. What had Genbu been doing with her?

He gave a slight pause and the noticed steel plates where still dangling over his shoulder and his knee caps. He took a swipe and wiped them off lightly as they each hit the floor with a -Clang-. Piece after piece as he then looked over at Genbu to look for perhaps a summary of what he talked about with Rin.

"She learned well enough, you should take care of her Long, Rin may have powers, but she still is a growing girl..." Genbu said as he got up and stretched a bit before walking off in the opposite direction, "Amano sends his regards Long...He wants to duel you soon," Genbu said as he turned up and left the hall.

[It's fine! Take your time]

Rin watched him, not moving. She was hesitating to reply, and trying not to be obvious about it. Though, she wasn't sure how well she was doing... But what had she learned? Simply that Long had already taught her things. She'd been told she already knew what she hated, she was asked of her feelings for Long and if she'd try to hurt him, and the very first thing; something about not answering unneeded questions.

She frowned slightly to herself, eyes flicking towards Genbu as he spoke. A small nod of her head, and she'd turned to face Long once more. Her expression didn't change as she heard the word 'duel' but she couldn't deny she was curious.

However, instead of asking, she simply pushed herself up to her feet, patting herself off for a brief second before speaking. "So, what now?" she questioned. He'd mentioned off campus, so she couldn't help wondering if he had something in mind.
