Mizaku smiled, pulling his mouth from Ogas skin. He cheered, jumping ot the air and shouting, "YES YES!!! FINALY!!" Mizaku stood on top of the eland and smiled haughtily at the others.
"There's enough for everyone! Dig in!!! Even you...blacky..." Mizaku smiled breifly at her and then dove on to the carcas with eagerness. He waitied for the others to join him, being very proud of his first kill, a LARGE one!

::Hodari backed away from the corpse, staring at the thing sadly. It was survival of the fittest.. He supposed... The lion circled around to stand next to Mizaku, eyeing the eland still. They'd done it! They'd brought it down. Well.... Hodari had to give Mizaku most of the credit.. The leopard had been fighting it the whole time while Hodari only fought half the time...:: "Good job.." ::He murmured, forcing a smile as he bowed his head to take a bite, pausing with his mouth open..::

Had they just.. just.. /killed/ that creature? Hidalgo was very confused at this point, along with having seated himself against the ground to watch. The cubs head was again cocked, as a sideways glance was placed upon the two other strange creatures beside him, Kasida and Usiku, before he once again rose. His stomach was growling, due to the fact of only being able to pick of a small rodent or mouse here and there. He almost felt.. bad for just waltzing over and eating it.. But then again, it seemed as if it were going to die, with or without them finishing the creature off. Without questioning, Hidalgo rose again, grimly padding towards the corpse. "Um.. thanks.. I guess.." He murmered, his eyes now fixated on the dead animal that now lay before him while the other two males had already begun to take their share of the mammal. His tail flicked once more, and the cub seated himself once again as he beant his muzzle towards the lifeless prey, and soon proceeding to take a small bite.

(Just have him/her scoot out from behind a tree who'd been watching but didn't exactly show themselves until now when it was dead, and then see if Mizaku will let 'em join in with the eating. XD -cocks head- Dunno. o.O; )

Mizaku ripped some flesh from the eland, eating happily. It tasted so good to finally get food. He couldn't believe that he had actually taken down something 5 times his size. he looked over at Hodari and smiled.
"I'm glad you stayed on my side, Hodari. I have to admit...for a minute there I thought you were turnign on me," Mizaku laughed, taking another bite of the delicious meal.
"Come on eveyone! Plenty for y'all!" the leopard said in between chewing.

::Hodari forced a smile, looking towards the leopard cub before taking a bite of the eland himself, ripping the flesh with his teeth, chewing it slowly. It tasted good.. rich... The cool, wet, liquid blood slid down his throat, resting within his stomach... The taste was welcomed within his mouth, oh so very welcomed...::"Of course.. I wouldn't turn on you, Mizaku. We're partners!" ::He nodded as he took another bite.. Yeah.. Partners. They were going to explore all over the place together!::He glanced towards the other lion, glad that he had joined them.::

Hidden stealthfully in the tall grass and observing the group with half-closed eyes, lay a lion cub with a glossy black coat and a few peculiar white markings. He had obviously been there for an extended period of time, watching and waiting for a possible chance at some nourishment. He sighed heavily, seeing they were all feasting on what appeared to be a fresh carcass. This seemed like the chance of a lifetime, and the small animal was determined not to let it slip from his grasp. The lone cub slowly got to his feet, weak from lack of food and water. Small amounts of drool began to form at his mouth as the sweet scent of the bloody meat entered his nostrils, but he paid them no mind. He had more important things to worry about, like if this meant he was going to have a satisfied stomach for once tonight. Pausing for a moment to steady himself, he silently padded over to the group. "Would you mind...if I took some, please?" He pleaded, his head low and eyes fixed upon the ground. "I promise I won't be greedy and take too much...it's just been forever since I have had a decent meal." He said quietly, hardly sure what to expect for an answer.

Mizaku lifted his head to look at the newcomer. He smiled and nodded. Now that he had achieved his goal, he really didn't care about anything else.
"Sure, take as much as you want! I'm starving too, I know how it feels..." Mizaku smiled at his partner, Hodari before returning his mouth to the meat, eating hardily and feeling very pleased with himself.

The cub stepped backwards, his eyes wide in suprise. He hardly expected to have aquired new meat so easily, he had concluded at the beginning he would probably have to fight or something for it. "T-Thank you." He stammered, his head lifting so he could see the others clearly. "Thank you very much!" He said once more, now sounding more cheerful than scared, as he did before. At once, he began tearing at the flesh of the animal, seeming to become more ravenous with every bite he took. Looking up for a moment with a dark stain of red on his muzzle, he smiled briefly. "My name is Itazura, in case anyone was wondering."

The eland tasted good.. great, really. The sudden flavor and warm of the crimson colored liquid sliding down his throat was one of the better feelings he'd gotten while roaming alone. Over a period of a few minutes, Hidalgo's pace of eating had somewhat quickened. Not enough to be greedy, but darn well near close. Though, seeing as his size wasn't exactly that large, he knew he wouldn't be able to eat much more, unfortunatly. "Soo.. Who're you guys..?" He questioned alloud, through muffled bites as he now chewed hastily upon the meal. His eyes had now shifted to the other cub that had joined, a mild smile now finding its way across his maw.

The tannish leopard ate hastily, hoping no bigger animals would smell the scent of a fresh kill and take it from him. He looked up for a breif minute to answer Hidalgo and also signal his answer towards Itazura.
"I'm Mizaku! it means ghost!" he said cheerfully. the happy leopard continued his meal and almost bobbed back and forth as if listening to a song. His tail waved against the ground slowly, Mizaku was really roud of himself, almost too proud.

Itazura smiled widely at the group, seeming content and full of food. "It's nice to meet you, all of you. I've never been with anyone else, and I've had to live off of small animals and bugs for the longest time. It's really nice to have a good meal like this every once in a while. So..." His voice trailed once more, as his eyes wandered about. "Do you all live as a group, or has this little formation only happened because of the kill?" At the last part of his question, his tone dropped, as if he sounded dissapointed. He was hoping this really was a pack of sorts, as he was quite tired of being alone for so long.
