Behind them, Emiri's pokemon, Charmeleon's friends, cheered at their victory. Charmeleon sat down where she stood, exhausted from the last brutal attack she endured. Emiri ran over to Charmeleon.
"Oh Charmeleon, you were splendid. My dad was right. You are going to make a fine Charizard," Emiri said, sitting next to Charmeleon, hugging her around the neck. Emiri took out a few potions to heal her, as Charmeleon looked to Emiri.
"Thank you Emiri. You're clever when it comes to combonations," Charmeleon replied, relieved as Emiri healed her wounds. Both Charmeleon and Emiri standing up, Emiri looked to Alex in front of her.
"You're not too bad yourself," she said with a wink.

"The docks seem like a safe bet to me," Chloe stated simply, not too sure on what else to say to that.
Chloe couldn't help but laugh at Bray's comment, "Yeah, I'm a dragon trainer too," she confirmed to Aku with a smile, "I'd love to see your Dratini, though!"
She watched the practice battle between Emiri and Alex, smiling as she realized that there was yet another Charmander starter amongst the group.
The dragon trainer turned her attention back to Kage when he spoke, "From Snowpoint, huh? Wow, that's quite a journey." Well, then again, she was originally from Blackthorn. But traveling here from Sinnoh was a much longer trip.
"I've been to Snowpoint a couple of times. It really is beautiful up there, but cold," Chloe laughed, "I don't think I could stay there for more than a short trip. But I guess with living there, you're used to the snow."

Charmeleon stood next to Emiri as Alex and Grovyle approached. Emiri looked endearingly at the badges he showed her, but to his question, she didn't have quite the impressive response.
"Well...actually...I only started my journey two days ago. Aku and I were going to challenge Brock, but by the time we got to Pewter City, this whole thing started. I don't have any badges," Emiri said regretfully.

"I'm just another trainer with her pokemon," Emiri said, turning to walk back to her team behind her. Charmeleon following, Emiri walked back to her pokemon, noticing they had begun to talk amongst themselves. Pidgeotto hadn't quite yet joined into the conversation, so Emiri offered an arm to him, as he stepped up onto her arm. Holding Pidgeotto up, Emiri scratched under one of his wings.
"And besides, it doesn't matter how strong a pokemon is, it only matters how well trainer and pokemon work together," she said to Alex as she held Pidgeotto.

Brayden watched the group from the side, Ariadne sticking next to him for the time being. However, he decided to go ahead and approach the docks again, feeling a bit more confident now that there were more people around. The water trainer picked his way back across the battered pier, making his way the best he could to the end.
"You got my back, right?" he asked Ariadne, a bit nervously. The Gardevoir hovered along beside him, having a much easier time than her trainer at moving along the broken dock. Telekinesis was quite handy sometimes.
'Don't I always?' Ariadne retorted, 'Someone's gotta keep an eye on your sorry self.'
"Thanks for that confidence..." Bray muttered, earning a mental laugh from Ari.
Brayden finally reached the end of the dock. Well, as far as was possible to traverse, anyway. There was still a pile of splintered lumber sticking half-way out of the water, but he figured he didn't want to chance stepping on that.
'So... what are we looking for?' Ariadne questioned, as Brayden peered over the end of the dock into the water.
"I'm not sure..." Brayden admitted, "They said there may be a Pokemon here, but I haven't seen anything. But something did this to the docks..." He just hoped that the rest of the city hadn't suffered the same fate as the pier.

There was a churning of water beneath Brayden, as twin Kingdra rose in challenge to Brayden's presence. They glared at the water trainer, recognizing him as a threat. They had been distinctively ordered to eliminate all threats.
Fins flaring with open threat, the two dragons attacked.
The people of Fuchsia that had gathered along the shoreline backed up, not wanting to get caught in the crossfire. They watched on from a safe distance, looking to see what would become of the trainer who hailed from their town.

Emiri had let Pidgeotto back to the ground as he hopped over to rejoin the others. Emiri was content at the moment, but that all changed when Gyarados began to hiss at something.
"There's something in the water," he hissed.
"Gyarados, what is it," Emiri asked, not knowing what to expect. Gyarados had dove into the water to look, then came back up, only to be facing in the direction of the docks, and specifically the one that Brayden was sitting at.
"There. Something is coming," he said, swaying in the water. Looking to where Gyarados was facing, Emiri watched as two Kingdra emerged from the water. Once again, most of her pokemon were weak against water type pokemon, so without a second thought, she returned all of her pokemon except Ivysaur.
"Come on Ivysaur, we've got to help," Emiri said, running to the docks in the distance, Ivysaur bounding behind.

"Alright, I'll show you Dratini." Aku said with a smile. He pulled out Dratini's ball and summoned his Dratini. Dratini stretched and wiggled, and upon being let out tackled Aku and wrapped itself around his body and snuggled close. "As you can see, Dratini is pretty affectionate.." Aku said with a laugh. "You're from Snowpoint?" Aku said to Kage, "Isn't that where the Eevees have been evolving to Glaceon?" Aku asked, looking down at the shiny Eevee in his hands. Before waiting for an answer, Aku heard a splash from the docks. Aku turned around saw the Kingdra. "Those look strong.. and I have two pokemon who can help.. Ivysaur and Dratini. Shouldn't we help Brayden guys?" Aku asked, not waiting for an answer as he ran towards the docks, following Emiri. Ivysaur whom was still out of her ball followed Aku, preparing itself for a fight. Brayden fell back as the dragons emerged from the water. He had been half-expecting a Pokemon to come from the ocean, but two? That was a bit unexpected.
'...Interesting...' Ariadne smirked, stepping forward to face off against the dragons.
Brayden was about to summon Gin'iro to take part in the fight as well, but, surprisingly enough, it was Reva's Pokeball that flashed suddenly from Brayden's belt, as the small Horsea faced off against her upper evolutions. Ariadne regarded the small water type curiously before shrugging.
'I've seen stranger,' she quipped, earning a glare from Reva.
"Hor-SEA!" she declared, puffing up a bit. Although if the movement was to make her seem more intimidating, it did little to add to the image, as the Horsea flipped backwards off of the dock and into the water with a plop. Ariadne merely snickered.
'Whatever floats your boat, kid...'
The Gardevoir hovered off the end of the dock, having no difficulty keeping on top of the water with her abilities.
"Well, let's try to make this a bit easier on us," Brayden decided, watching as the townspeople scattered to give the battle enough room. That put a bit of ease in his mind at least. He didn't want anyone who couldn't fight getting caught up in this.
"Use a Hypnosis on the one on the right," Brayden called to Ariadne. The Gardevoir was already a step ahead of him, reading his thoughts, as she concentrated her energy. Her eyes flashed with a faint blue light, as she sent mental waves at the second Kingdra, overpowering its mental defenses easily, and lulling it into a deceptively peaceful slumber.
Meanwhile, Reva was below the wooden planks, and apparently really miffed. She'd show that sarcastic Gardevoir that she was just as good at protecting her trainer as she. Who did she think she was, anyway?!
The Horsea started to glow, faintly at first, but as her anger grew, so did the aura. Brayden looked down beneath his feet as he saw a violet light begin to shine between the wooden planks of the pier. Suddenly, Reva shot out, the tiny Horsea charging at the first Kingdra.
Her Outrage struck hard and fast, manifesting in a powerful surge of draconian energy.
Brayden couldn't help an admiring whistle. The little seahorse could definitely pack a punch!

Chloe looked up as she heard the crackle of Reva's Outrage strike the Kingdra, and saw the others joining in to help Brayden.
"Well, we're certainly not going to sit this one out," Chloe grinned. She offered one last pat to Fira, before gently setting the Charmander back down, reaching for two of her own Pokeballs at her waist.
"Daimon, Entreri! I'm relying on your strength for this match!" Chloe called, summoning her own Kingdra into the fight, along with the rather sullen Weavile. Daimon emerged from his Pokeball, landing in the water with a splash, cutting through the water swiftly to join in the match. Entreri hopped along the docks, claws digging into the wood as he leaped agilely across the decimated wood.
"Dai, use a Dragon Pulse, Entreri, Focus Blast. Let's focus on the one that's still awake!" Chloe called. Daimon nodded silently, rearing back in the water before summoning up his energy. A swirling orb of chaotic dragon energy flared to life swiftly in front of him, before darting across the water to slam into the first Kingdra. Entreri was doing likewise, summoning up his own orb of energy, this one fused with fighting spirit instead of the ancient power of dragons. The sienna orb crackled before leaving the Weavile's claws and knocking into the first water dragon.

By now, Emiri and Ivysaur had gotten to the docks, and saw as Brayden had already begun to attack. Knowing that all help would be needed, Emiri cast out Ivysaur, who gladly obliged.
"Alright Ivysaur! Use solar beam," Emiri called out. Not a second after Emiri finished the command had Ivysaur already begun to absorb the light around him.
