I actually don't wear make-up.
I have some that I'll wear on special occassions, but in general I don't wear it.
1) I have a lot of allergies to make-up. Various fragrances and ingredients in make up. Even the stuff that I don't have as many issues with I am still glad to take off at the end of the day.
2) I've been told I don't need it.
So the times that I do wear it, like I said special occasions. I've worn in out on dates, I wore make-up on my wedding day... When I do wear make-up my point is to make it look natural and enhance my features rather than to "paint" my face.
Don't know if any of that helps or not.

Yeah, we found a place. 3nodding We're still in the process of unpacking technically. All the big furniture is put together. I came home a few days after we were in to find that Jay had put the table and chairs together for me, so we've had out first dinner actually at the table, something we didn't do often at the old place.
But hey, we've got internet and TV! mrgreen That was big for us.
Those new edits are cute. They do such an amazing job.

Uh... I don't wear make up either. blaugh I don't know... I don't like how it feels, and I always worry when I do wear some that I'm going to touch my face and mess it up. xp
I think other women wear make up to cover up. You know... the whole hiding your true face from the world. Most people do it in some form, but clothes, hair and make up is another way to cover up.

Yeah, packing and unpacking, what a mess. We tried to start early and move things over here over a course of two weeks, but when we decided to move the big stuff, it was raining. blaugh Fun fun. We got soaked.
There also seem to be women who think men find make up attractive, and I don't think that is necessarily true. I know Jay likes me sans make up best. He doesn't want to have to worry about touching my face either. xd
But I agree with you Jen about wearing it for important days (like a wedding wink )and even then using it to enhance what's already there.
Boy, Ferdinand, am I glad we're done with the packing too. We now have to unpack. eek rofl
Those ladies who wear a bit too much make up always make me wonder why they wear so much. Some girls say they feel naked with out it. But at some point, you have to take the make up off. surprised

I hope everyone is having a nice day. smile We don't bother celebrating holidays like V-day, but I still accept the chocolate my family gives me. And I did get chocolate for my niece and nephew. mrgreen
Our furniture did get kinda wet, but it was mostly this odd drizzling rain. So not so bad for the furniture, but bad for us. I suppose in that way we were lucky. xd
I think most women look good (and in fact better) without make up. I guess I have a slight bias against it. blaugh

Well, my parents have an almost 20 year age difference. My father was born in '25 and my mother in '43. eek
And Jay is 8 years older than me.
So I suppose that in general it doesn't matter.
Now if you're under 18, then it matters. When I was 11 Jay was 19. That would have been WAY bad. But now that I'm 28, not bad. rofl

Hmm, so 20 years difference between yer folks? Guess what? My dad and my mom are a bit similar cuz she was born on 1948 while my dad was born in 1930.
But I see what yer talking about. If any two people wish to get together, they should wait till adulthood. It's much better to deal with things then I suppose. When did you and Jay meet anyway?
