New question for the week:
Have you ever seen a christmas movie having fantastic or even medieval type elements?
If so, which one was it? Do you have more than one in mind?

Does the Redwall series fit in? A Redwall Winters Tale by Brian Jacques had a Christmas celebration and in the Magic Tree House Series there was a Christmas in Camelot story line. This is also a harder one. Good thinking skills there.

hypnocrown Thanx MsJo but you are quite knowlegdeable yerself. I have no idea about the concepts you mentioned at all... sweatdrop Let's see if someone else wants to answer this one... The Redwall Series of books by Brian Jacques is now a cartoon series on our Public TV stations - so it is not a full out movie They are a bunch of cute, but efficient animals being written as though they had human traits.

Claymation, huh? If I'm not mistaken I think they (the people in show business) call it "stop motion animation". I wonder how old a movie that one really is. Thanx for the info! I'll come and post a new question next week. In the mean time, anyone who wants to ask a new one is welcome to go for it. 3nodding

I'm sorry MsJo, I have no idea what yer talking about. I know, I'm such an ignoramous!
New question of the week!
If you could create a medieval/fantasy type weapon, how would you go about it? Or, what kind would you like to make if you were a blacksmith?
I was thinking, if I could make my own weapon, I probably try to mix up different concepts of existing ones and make one that would probably look weird. I wonder who came up with the 7 bladed sword. Does anyone know?

I would definately make freakin' awesome greatsword.
I have absolutly no idea of who made the seven bladed sword. I specilize in what things how, not who made the idea.

WHAT is a "seven-bladed sword"? A real weapon? A book? an Anime? You have me stumped on this one!

Well, the 7 bladed sword is something I saw on Curse of Darkness. I don't know if it's based on an actual weapon but, that's not the question of the week. It's just something I felt like asking as well. mrgreen Hey Drayal, what materials would you use to make that greatsword you mentioned? Would you go as far as naming it as well?
