Vincent walked up to Asura Labs. His arm was hurting a bit after what happened to him with the bookcase falling on him and having a piece of wood stuck in his arm."Hey I remember this place."Vincent looked around."Well might as well walk in."Vincent walked in through the front doors. He looked around."What shall I do first?"He looked around again."Owwwww!!!!"Even though he got the cut patched up Vincent's arm was still hurting."Man i'll head back to the hospital later."Vincent saw a piece of skin.He made it levitate up.He then let it fall from the air.He saw a corpse laying on a table.Vicent began to focus, but all of a sudden the corpse jumped up off the table and walked next to Vincent."Yes ,I've finally mastered that skill. The corpse the fell down to the ground."Crap!"

Hedoro Koutai half dead on the lawn
Cold! Hedoro twitched as the cool water splashed over her. Her core was raw and exposed to the air, it was painful just to try to move, much like a human missing skin, but on an even greater scale. The water felt wonderful, though, and even as out of it as she was, she had the wherewithal ti try to absorb as much as she could. It wasn't really enough to heal her, not by a long shot. But it was a good start, her condition probably wouldn't weaken at this rate. She could feel her side start to slowly mend, the wound not leaking ichor anymore but still a grievous wound. A bit more of her outer substance was now able to form, it tried to cover as much of her core as possible, to shield her from the drying effects of the sun and wind. Her mind slowly started to focus on the real, the imagined visions slowly fading away as she looked up at Nika's tear-streaked face. Why was she crying? Hedoro couldn't remember. It must have been something bad. Why did she feel so tired? "Wa's... on'... Ni...?"

Nika removed her hands from her face and looked down at Hedoro once more. "H-Hedoro-chan...Are you going to be alright?" She said, nearly stuttering out the end. Her form was slowly forming back, and the wound was slowly healing. "Are you healing? Should I still call the ambulance?" And so now, many questions were coming into her mind. W-what to do?! Is she going to be alright?! She stopped herself from pouring tears once more. She finaly shook her head to herself. "How did this happen?" She said, keeping herself together. B-baka! How could you ask such a question?! Can you not see that she's in pain?!?! "H-Hedoro..." Nika mumbled out.
"I-I'll be strong. I will. I swear I will. For you." She said, as she attempted to put on a weak smile. "If only it were raining now..Oh why is the world to cruel to some?" She mumbled out to herself.

Hedoro Koutai one third dead on the lawn
Like a layer of cotton gauze, Hedoro's mind felt disjointed, seperated from reality. She couldn't feel the throbbing ache resounding through her entire form, she could scarcely hear Nika's panic-filled words, she could hardly remember who she even was. But her condition was stabilizing, she looked a little better than she had just a moment ago. One of the benefits of being a shapeless mass was no bones to break and spend months mending. It took a long moment, but she was able to concentrate enough to almost answer Nika. Not an answer to what she asked, but at least she was able to say something. "Why's it... s' dark...?" With that, Hedoro slipped into a healing sleep, her body forcing her higher functions into a standby while it focused on healing her grievous injuries. It would take some time for her to be back at full strength, but she should at least be able to wake up by morning. The sun shone harshly down on the two, though, drying Hedoro out with it's warmth.
(At this point Hedoro is small enough to be carried without trouble. Think watermelon, just made of jello.)

Nika looked down at the one she loved as she slowley made a close form. Probably big enough to carry. The sun shown brightley now. It glowed against Nika's brown hair and neko ears.
Why's..dark..?
Nika shook her head and looked back down at Hedoro who was now asleep. She was getting dry from the sun. Oh no.. I hope..No wait, I know she will be ok. Nika wipped her tears away once more with her hands and put on a small smile. "I guess I could try to..carry you." She said, as she scratched her chin in a thinking way with a finger.
"I guess I could try..I'll take you to the hospital to rest. Maybe they'll beable to help." She thought and she looked at her nearly small hands and then back to Hedoro. Nika put on a tough smile. "Alright!" She squeaked as she put her hands under the some what shapped body and picked her up. Her eyes opened in amazement. Either I've gotten really strong or Hedoro doesn't weigh much. She sighed and started to run toward the hospital. Nika would prefer to jump from tree tops, but there weren't that many trees around, and wouldn't want to drop Hedoro. Nyahh..

Hedoro Koutai in Nika's arms, on route to the hospital
At this point, Hedoro wasn't nearly aware enough to realize Nika had picked her up, or that they were headed for the hospital. Deeper than sleep, deeper than swooning, she was so out of it that she'd only be capable of waking up if she received sufficient medical care.
47 following Nika Unseen by the panicked catgirl, 47 followed closely, moving utterly silently as he leapt from cover to cover, always staying just beyond her senses as he unerrignly trailed her. He still wasn't sure quite why he was following her, Dr. Sagi's orders had only been to dispose of 36, he hadn't said anything about degree of destruction or what to do about outsiders. He wasn't even sure if he would fully dispose of 36, or if what he had already done had been enough. So he followed instead of attacked, skulked where he could have sauntered. Once he decided what to do, then he could do it. BUt until then, he could only follow and wait.
(Next stop, hospital, I guess)

Kumizu casually walked into the lab, cane tapping on the hard floor. He went to a corner and pulled out a box, then walked over to a table. There had been an experiment he had done before ((page 9)), and he was in the mood to do it again. He opened the box, setting all the supplies to the side, and dumped out everything that was in a bag he was carrying.
Time passed and the procedure went normally, as it always had. He returned the supplies to the box, sealed it, but this time tucked it under his arm, as best he could. Putting the vial in his pocket, Kumizu walked out of the labs, casually whistling.

Kumizu remembered a detour he needed to take and headed to the labs. When he walked in, the scientists that looked up sighed. However, he didn't seem to be in as light of a mood as he had been before. It was obvious that something was bothering him, and anyone who had been in the courtyard wouldn't need to ask what. Of course, none of the scientists there wanted to talk to him as it was...
Kumizu grabbed a box and, like he had done before, went around the labs, searching for the equipment he would need. As much as his leg bothered him, he couldn't just sit down and relax yet. Kumizu found various scrap pieces of rubber and titanium and, with Fudy's approval, put them into his box. After picking up a couple of other supplies and tools needed. There was still one thing the labs didn't have. Kumizu would have to order it, and delivery took time. He turned and walked out, thoughts of what had happened earlier still on his mind.

Ananda looked around as they arrived at the lab, and then turned to Alexander. "Well, this is it," she said slowly, not sounding terribly enthusiastic. Oh, be nice, she told herself firmly. You were the one who offered to take him on a tour, after all, so you can’t complain. She smiled, making an effort to look interested by what was around her, even though this wasn't really something that she usually was interested in.

Alexander walked inside and looked around as well. Boring really, he thought. He looked over at Ananda and saw, through her pained face, that she didn't really like it here either. "Don't really like this place, do ya'?", he asked, not really expecting an answer.

"Um..." Ananda shrugged. "Not so much," she admitted with a smile. "I'm sure it'd be terribly exciting for someone who does alchemy, or engineering, but that's not me." She took another look around, then shook her head. Well, at least I can say I've been here. Who know, it might come in useful someday. Probably not, but it might. She didn't really believe what she was telling herself, but it made her feel better about it.

Alexander grinned back and shifted his weight. He wasn't in to any of that either. I think that I saw a playground... Why would they have a playground in a High school? Oh well... I'm tired, he thought to himself and shifted his weight again. "Wanna' go to the Playground?", he asked her with a grin.

Ananda looked at him curiously for a moment, then smiled suddenly. A playground? Sounds like...fun. I know I've been there, but all I remember was that the benches weren't very good for sleeping on. She nodded. "Sure. Sounds fun, let's go!" She laughed softly. Seems like things are looking up from here...although it’d be hard to imagine someplace worse to go. At least it’s out of the way now. And that’s definitely not the kind of place where I’m likely to run into Halcon, so it should be perfect.

It wasn’t long after he’d departed with Evie in front of the Haunted House that Lucien walked through the doors of the Azura Laboratories building. Big enough as it was, it was very easy to find even from across the campus, though finding the entrance took more effort than he’d appreciate. Once inside, one a student worker leaning back on the chair behind the registry counter called out, “Hey! We’re usually closed to students on Event Nights.”
Lucien stopped dead in his tracks; utterly baffled… does he really look that young? Maybe the fact that he’s using a disguise put the young man in a position to fully question his appearance. It could all be the workings of an illusion- in this place, any far-fetched idea would be possible and thus the possibilities: endless. His ID card was fetched from his wallet as Lucien walked over to the counter, “Lucien Lachance, assistant researcher to Varon Vamori down at the morgue. I believe I also have a quarter next to my facility, to which I shall be retiring to.” The logs and records were checked- all positive! The young man bowed his figure slightly, smiling faintly as he’d apologize, “I’m sorry about the misunderstanding. I was just being safe.” Lucien dismissed it with a cheery wave of his hand, replying happily, “Not to worry! You are merely doing your job- very well I might add!” The young boy bowed in gratitude before Lucien walked away, “Thank you, sir”
“No problem! You are most welcome, my lad!” He called back as the elevator doors behind him opened, leading down to the morgue. It was an expansive place, holding a large number of bodies for experimentation- this was, after all, partially a primarily necromantic research building; bodies were essential and donations frequent and generous. The wall at the far end of the hall held a plaque before a double set of mechanically operated doors: ‘Primary Necrotic Research’ with two smaller ones below it, reading, ‘Varon Vamori’ and ‘Lucien Lachance’. A push of a button released the seal on the doors and a faint hiss resounded throughout the empty hall- the room was kept tightly sealed and in a lower temperature to maintain quarantine.
The room was pretty big, the wall to the right is lined with the square containers dug inside where the bodies were kept at a desired temperature. The wall to the opposing side was covered by large supply closets where the necessary materials were stored until use and the left wall could only be described as a huge desk with several computers hooked up to provide the processing power for several simulations and data analysis. Beside the door were containers where forms were kept and several empty ones waiting for incoming paperwork. The middle, however, was largely occupied with tables for laying the bodies, movable desks to keep the tools or move several objects such as organs around without much trouble.
Seeing all this, Lucien exhaled in a sigh of contentment. Surely anybody present would have witnessed the change in the look in his eye, switching from the warm optimism and gentle welcome to the cold, calculating and menacing stare of the Necromancer. A chill gripped his body- the very reason why he chose to work in the refrigerated underground rather than the warmer first floor despite his ability to utterly halt decomposition with practically a wave of his hand. Fingers rose to his forehead, dripping down his face and gently puling outwards, a seemingly ethereal fluid following the tips just as his features changed. Pink flesh saw its essence sucked out of it, settling to a lifeless gray; hair wilted and turned white while blue-green eyes now glinted with a malevolent red- dark and vivid; a most petrifying gaze. Cheekbones became more prominent as his body withered to a gaunt frame- barely recognizable from a human being; his very humanity sold as the seal hardened on a covenant with death itself long ago.
In his hand lay an amethyst jewel carved into a beautiful shape- reminiscent of the most pristine diamond while a green swirl twisted about in its center. You would only see a faint image of what was once Lucien Lachance twisting in agony trapped inside a gem that devoured his very soul at a snail’s pace. It would have been long gone, if only Varon had not fed it with a constant supply of fresh human essence. Family was important- or at least worth preserving for a greater purpose than sheer amusement, though its eradication was tempting indeed.
All was fine and well- the gears in his head had long ago been thrust into motion and it was time to begin his labors. Varon’s face contorted into a smile that could only be described as demonic, just as the ensuing cackle would be perceived to be just as evil, “Well well, Varon- it seems that the season has just begun and seeds need to be planted.” Doors to the containers flew open with a trust of his hand as corpses climed out of them, seeing and breathing corpses that seemed evocative to a living human being, settling themselves down and lying on the table obediently awaiting experimentation, “Oh, how I will look forward to the harvest!” And thus the year began and Halloween ended- planting season began a little early, but there was nobody to complain… after all, the audience was all dead!

It had been a wild ride, and Evie's head was still spinning. Yet, here she was. Putting up with fat seductresses, violet kitties, weird fizzing drinks, and rough rope rides home, she had still ventured out to visit. She wasn't sure if it was too soon either. She didn't want to appear clingy... Maybe if she appeared concerned instead? She was a bit worried about his face. That stupid cat had gotten him pretty good with its surprise attack. Yes, worry was a good enough reason to pay a visit, wasn't it? And in the end, he had also said she could whenever she'd like. Just stop by the labs.
Still, that idea made her shiver slightly, as she stood outside the door. Her arms curled around herself, and she began swaying side to side, nerves growing. Dead bodies. He worked with dead bodies. Would she be able to go in? Maybe... they wouldn't go into that room, especially if she said she didn't want to. Yeah, he wouldn't make her. She had nothing to worry about.
So, taking a deep breath, she tugged open the door and walked inside... only to be halted by a guard. She froze, eyes growing wide. "U-um..." she stammered, glancing around herself. "I.. I wanted to v-visit Lucien..." she announced shakily.
"I think he's gone to bed. We're closed to ordinary students tonight anyway."
"B.. but I..." Evie stammered, staring up at him pitifully, almost like a kicked puppy. She was wearing her usually headphones over her ears, but the music was turned off so she could hear. Her fingers had locked tightly around a messenger bag she was wearing as well, refusing to let go. "I just... wanted to see if he was okay..."
How could someone not take pity upon such a face? The guard couldn't handle it, and after heaving a rather deep sigh, he waved his hand through the air and let out a small grunt. "Fine, fine. Just hurry it up."
"O-oh! Thank you!" Evie cried, shifting to surprise, then gratitude, as she went skipping skittishly past him.
