Shard Aerliss RanmaxHikaru I can't have "empathy" for a women who claims to love someone, then has a child with a someone else, Did she ever claim to love Vincent? Ever? Quote: and then hands over the person she loves to a mad scientist so he can be horribly experimented on. She didn't 'hand him over' to Hojo. Hojo shot him, Hojo did all the hard work, she just didn't try to stop him. When? Quote: and then betrays him not once but twice. Only by her inactions. Though you could argue (and I frequently do) that she was trying to get him to admit his feelings, trying to get some love from someone, anyone, when she tried to goad Vincent into stopping her; Vincent: Is it true?
Hojo: Is what true?
Vincent: That Lucrecia... That Dr. Crescent is to take part in this project?
Lucrecia: It's true. Why are you so surprised?
Vincent: But using your own child for an experiment?
Hojo: I don't know what you're implying, but both of us are scientists. We know what we are doing. You are the last person to have any word in this. Now leave us at once, boy!
Vincent: But...
Lucrecia: But what? If you have something to say, say it.
Vincent: Are you... Are you sure this is what you really want?
Lucrecia: Am I sure? Am I sure!? If this only concerns me, then yes, I am sure!
From that I'd say she wanted him to stop her, but he couldn't do it. He believed this was what she wanted and he couldn't face the rejection if he took the chance it wasn't. Quote: Vincent was ready to give himself to her, heart and sole, then she turns around and stabs him in the back. Yeah, sorry if I don't have "empathy" for people like that. He let Hojo get away with experimenting on Lucrecia, she let Hojo get away with experimenting on Vincent. Both were at fault. Though we could lay the most blame on Hojo... Ok perhaps I was premature with Lucrecia saying she loved Vincent but this whole last part of you're reasoning is ridicules. Why would Lucrecia need Vincent to stop her from experimenting on her own child!Thats just completely stupid! What kind of mother would even consider experimenting on their child in the first place, let alone trying to hint for someone to stop her. Also, because Vincent didn't stop her from infusing her own son with Jinova cells, that somehow ment it was ok for Lucrecia to just sit back and do nothing when Vincent was getting experimented on. That sounds like a bunch of crap to me. It was her choice to experiment on her son and it was her choice to stay silent when Hojo was experimenting on Vincent. The women is a complete moron that has no common sense or decency and she's suppose to be perfect for Vincent!!!! Whatever

Everyone makes mistakes. D: Vincent and Lucrecia both have their guilt; while that is what stopped them from being together in the first place. O-o
They're quite a complex couple. I think DoC showed that Lucrecia has come to understand that she has made mistakes in the past, etc. They had some heart-wrenching scenes in that game, ugh. D: I don't know what Vincent has accepted or believes, but Lucrecia is the only woman that he's shown he's loved.

Bleh, so what? Lucrecia is stuck in some ice cube for eternity. Let's leave it at that.
Regardless whether Vincent loved her, I'd hate to see them together. Though the two are reconciled and Lucrecia has repented for her sins, the fact that she just acted so selfishly in the past, hurting Vincent so and hurting herself is the cause of the misfortune, the state Vincent was in-I can't forgive her for that.
About what Shard Aerliss said about Lucrecia wanting Vincent to stop her...I'd have to be against that. Even if Vincent tried to stop her, Lucrecia wouldn't relent. That's what I believe. A stubborn lass she is....also, the guilt of Grimoire's death haunted her. She seemed to want to do anything to hurt herself and Vincent. I don't know...temporary insanity maybe? xd

i don't think any of the FFVII girls are good enough for vincent. heart i mean he is so cool and aloof that none of them can come even close to being worthy. let me brake it down for everyone: i find yuffie an annoying charcter all around. she is too hyper and annoying for vincent to stand for long periods of time when he didn't even like talking to cloud (mr. stoic) for very long. areis, gosh. she is WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY too "innocent" for mr fallen angel. he is 'demonic' and has to attone for his sins. she goes and makes herself into a martyr. then there's tifa. if it wasn't for the TINY fact that she so obviously has a thing for cloud she MIGHT have a slim chance at vincent. and Lucrecia!!!! scream is a jerk to vincent!!!! she picks ugly old Hojo over young innocent just-joined-the-turks Vincent. WHAT WAS SHE THINKING??? burning_eyes and that about takes out all the girls in the game.
ahem... if you haven't noticed i am protective of vinnie. sweatdrop he is so cute i heart him forever with his pale prettiness!!

For Vincent? Nobody would go very well with Vincent.
Tifa and Aeris would be fighting over Cloud, and they seem to keep their distance from what they would probably consider "Tall, dark and scary".
I'm a big fan of Yuffie, but she's such a polar opposite of him that a relationship with her would never work.
Lucrecia...(boy am I gonna hear it for this >.< )...she doesn't love him. She might have realized that Vincent has feelings for her, but she just doesn't feel the same way in return. That was my take on the situation, anyway.

Kewkiez-_X You guys have Pretty Funny Minds..... Yuffie is Wrong! Aeris Is very very very Wrong! And Tifa is.......Just please don't! Lucrecia Is the one and Only girl for him,she may have rejected him,but she still loves him very much inside XD! Well, Lucrecia May love Hojo.....(She's got a very weird taste XD) But she really loves Hojo more, the only reason she couldn't Accept Vincent, Is because when She was about to say "Yes" to Vincent, Hojo called her over to say something, but she loved them both.So she just had to say "Yes" to Hojo...... It didn't show it in the game but them two are truely meant for eachother, and also it said On the official site that Hojo didn't let Lucrecia answer Hojo. They wanted to make her look like a b***h! He he...... I rest my Case XD. Hojo is more wrong, Lucrecia does not love Hojo, she married him because she had no choice. Truely inside Lucrecia loves Vincent. It was a great misunderstanding.

You can't validate that. Up until near the end of Dirge of Cerberus, Lucrecia's feelings for Vincent have always been in question. She had always been confused about her feelings. Though, when she said, "I think I understand my feelings now," she might've been indirectly saying that she cares for him....but you can't really say so.

Of course Vincent's feelings for her were genuine, we all know that. Still, the impression I get from her feelings....to me it seems more like, "I care for you" rather than "I love you." To me, it's a one-sided love, their relationship.
